My wife and I had the delight of working with the NorthStar Movers team this week. From the moment Albert and the NorthStar team showed up, we knew we were in friendly and capable hands. With an outstretched hand, Albert greeted me and introduced his colleagues Wilber, Marcus and Andres.  I’ve never seen a harder working, more collaborative team! Albert kept me apprised at every phase and he, Marcus, Andres and Wilber went above and beyond. The moving industry is a competitive market and we cannot sing NorthStar’s praises more. Add to it the president is involved in the community and we will definitely use them again!

We’ve used North Star on two occasions, and had our items in storage with them for over a year.  Both times we were very impressed with the professionalism of the movers and care that was taken with our items.  Abel A, Carlos O and Andrew G helped move our daughter from our home to her apartment, plus moved the items we had in storage to her apartment.  They were careful, efficient, nice and friendly!  I would definitely use them again if the need arises.

Great moving company. Reliable, responsible. Good communication. Johan, Alonzo, Enrique and Alejandro were amazing. Called us when on way. Easy move. Put together all of our furniture, moved pieces around multiple times to make sure we were happy. Highly recommend this company.

The guys assigned to us – Carlos Erik Eugenio and Mario – were really  prompt reliable strong and really very professional.  They worked non stop. No rest and no complaints moving our stuff from a 4 bedroom townhome to our 3rd floor apartment unit . Just amazing. Will definitely call them again next time we move. Thank you guys!

Moving can sometimes be a chore, but my wife and I had the best experience with NorthStar Movers. The team was very professional, they took care of everything, and they made this the easiest moving experience we’ve ever had. C.J, Deven and Sammy did an amazing job with our move from Austin TX to Georgetown TX! they handled our full house move in about 4 hours and were very friendly and professional. I can’t recommend them enough, everything went perfectly!

Excellent communication before the move including a video walk thru to get an accurate estimate. I updated the flat rate after selling some items, and the new rate was honored for the move with no unexpected charges. Good price, esp for including packing the breakable items in the kitchen. Arrived within their arrival window, worked very efficiently. Wonderful experience with them.

Extremely impressed by our experience with NorthStar Movers LA! Johan G, Enrique P, and Alejandro G were extremely communicative and efficient! They packaged up our entire 2 bedroom apartment in about 2 hours. They were super friendly and made sure all of our un-packaged items were wrapped and secured safely. Will definitely be using them again if I have any future moves!

Albert, Wilbur, and Andreas were great!  All super professional, efficient, careful, and great attitude. They took good care of all of my property and made the move super simple. Even if there were a lot of stairs or parking was difficult. They were super efficient and positive. I’d gladly use NorthStar again!

We had a great experience with NortStar. Austin and his team were excellent. They took lots of care to ensure all of our items were wrapped up properly before loading them on to the truck. They worked hard and adhered to all of my requests without any pushback. I initially had concerns about using a larger moving company as I normally prefer to support smaller businesses. However, the experience I had with NorthStar was levels above the last moving company I previously hired. I’m glad I made the right choice. I  would highly recommend them!

All I can say is NorthStar is a TOP NOTCH moving company!  We had never hired movers before, and I was shocked at the ease of it all for us.  The team arrived in a timely manner, got down to business and got us moved!  They were efficient and no damage to any items.  David and his team made it seem easy.  The estimate they quoted was right on target at the end of the day.  The crew was friendly and their customer service was outstanding!  Wouldn’t call any other company.  They were #1 on the list for a reason.

David, CJ & Sammy were the BEST! They were so much fun, professional, and efficient. My mom absolutely LOVED them as well. I will always HIGHLY recommend NorthStar. Such a great experience from start to finish. I couldn’t of been more impressed!

David and his crew are awesome! Don’t hesitate to give them a call — from scheduling to execution, they were so personable, communicative, helpful and efficient. I highly recommend their services and referred them to a dear friend just a few hours after my move. She also had great things to say about her experience!

PS. David and crew go above and beyond — someone came by to pick up a free mattress, and while he had a truck, he was older and didn’t have anyone to help them get the mattress into the bed of the truck. David and team not only helped him get the mattress to his truck and into his truck but also donated their own rope and tied it down so that he could safely drive on the highway. They didn’t have to do this, but they were happy to help!

I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and personal attention from the whole team at Northstar!
They went above and beyond to offer the best rate and proper equipment and movers for my needs, and took extra time to ensure I understood their policies and procedures.

If you are thinking about moving, just call these guys.  Our move was absolutely amazing, due to the excellent crew from North Star.  They did a superb job of protecting our belongings, and they were just a fun bunch of guys – the move was almost fun!  Super hard working, courteous, and amiable – what more could you ask for?  Oh, and they were far less expensive than other companies we contacted.  I’d give them ten stars if I could.

We recently moved from Laguna Hills to Santa Barbara and used Northstar for our move.  We had used them in the past for our father and had a great experience and they did not disappoint for our move.  The crew of Jairo, Andres, Ramiro, Abel, Christian and Mauricio worked hard and made sure everything went to the right place.  They were courteous and friendly.  They had to put in extra work as we have a very steep driveway (see pictures)!  They made the process go well during a stressful time and we really appreciated the professionalism.  Highly recommend to anyone.

NorthStar Moving Company did a fantastic job moving my family into our new home. The team Jairo, Kevin, Jose R. and Jose G. were incredibly efficient, respectful of our belongings, and a delight to work with all day. There were no scratches on walls, and not a single item broke.
This was my third move with NorthStar, and I will continue to call them for future moves.

On Friday, May 20th and
Saturday May 2, 2022.  North Star Moving Company has overwhelming succeeded again where no other movers would willingly do for us! This is our third move using them and I’m happy to say they continued to exceed our expectations.

I must mention their names because they are the best group of guys. Austin came to our old place first to look over all the things we would take and pack. After he looked and gave us an estimate,  true to his word,  North Star never exceeded the rate. Our one day job turned into two days and one, very late night.
We were blessed to get Noah (the team lead), and his team: Grandville (G), Jose and David-who helped on Friday but not able to come on Saturday with the rest of the crew which returned for both days.
Anyhow,  this group of guys were honest,  reliable and careful,  not just of our stuff (prescriptions, gold & silver collection, jewelry and money) but of their time as well.  I asked Noah why he kept looking at his watch and he told me that they were taking a five minute break and then get back to work! I was blown away! Truly,  they looked out for us in other ways as well.  They made a total of six trips back and forth from our old place to the new house.
They set up all the furniture that they took apart too. They stayed with us until midnight. They would not leave us high and dry by stopping off furniture and leaving.  They placed down carpets,  made sure all beds were put together so we could sleep on our own mattresses, put their own carpet runners being respectful of our new flooring. They even opened one box because my son forgot his medication and they knew exactly where it was since they labeled the boxes for us!
This was no ordinary move either.  We had so much furniture,  and I am older so I needed the help packing as well.  This group of great guys went out of their way to make sure things were done right. Our breakable items and furniture arrived in
perfect condition too.

We bought them food and drink. They never asked for this,  but we felt compelled because of who they are.  We were so grateful for all their help.  They are worth this review and more. We tipped them well because they earned it.

These guys are amazing. The moment they arrived they literally told me that there is no need to worry anymore & I felt like it was the truth! They took care of everything, kept up a jokey/happy atmosphere which is exactly what I wanted when dealing with the shittiness that is moving. They were super kind & careful, & thoughtful with how they handled everything. I have a harp & they asked specifically how to lift it to ensure it would be okay. & they put my furniture where I wanted it in my room. They even took down some bulky recycling I had left over from my bed frame! The company called to confirm & offered insurance, & also pointed me in the right direction to obtain a parking permit. That was such a good call considering I was moving from/to very busy neighborhoods that had little to offer in terms of parking. TL;DR Northstar is awesome, definitely take a look if you’re getting ready to move. Everyone was extremely kind & helpful.

NorthStar Movers did an excellent job relocating a new client into the area. Punctual, professional and priced competitively, I would absolutely use their services again.
