So hello welcome to our new place. We just got finished with a crazy move and all the guys at NorthStar Moving moved into this four story place, with crazy heavy furniture, expensive furniture, because she made sure to tell them, don’t do anything to this table, to this TV, to anything and they did an amazing job, absolutely amazing. They sweated to everything. They drove to Santa Monica to Downtown to Santa Monica again, they didn’t want any beers, that’s fine, more for me and it was a great experience. The following is an email I sent to Ron after my last move back in April 2009 in Playa Vista. To explain about the elevators, I had a not to exceed price but when we got to the new building one of the elevators was not working and they had to use one on the other side of the building and the move took much longer than estimated. There were also problems with parking so they had to move the truck twice while trying to unload my stuff. Even so they still stuck to the not to exceed price. I know any other company would have taken advantage of that situation and used the elevators as an excuse for other delays and charge me way more than agreed, but they still stuck to the not to exceed price! These guys are awesome — very honest and great movers as well. I have tried many other companies in the past and I had just accepted that there’s no such thing as a great moving company, but now I know in fact there is.

We have used them for our last 3 moves … We recently moved to Newhall from Burbank and they were fast (efficient) , careful and honest. I had a co-worker use another mover(Starving Students) and their moving company re-scheduled their move date at the last minute ! We have never had any bad experiences with Northstar. They have always been responsive to our requests and concerns. Great Customer service is rare these days so we made a point to send NorthStar a note of apprectiation for reducing our moving stress .
So yeah NorthStar Moving did a great job, they worked really really hard. Got it done real quick and there was a lot of stuff, nothing appears to be broken. I thought the price was right and I am very happy with it. Very happy with their service and I would recommend it to anyone who is planning to move.

Hi my name is Michael and I just finished moving from one condo to another.
We used the guys from NorthStar Moving came in bright and early at just a few
minutes after 8 ready to rock and roll. They wrapped up everything quick in
the morning, got all the furniture together, no scratches, no bumps, no breaks
that I have seen and we got everybody moved in into the place promptly right in the
afternoon, was a really easy move, the guys took care of everything. And they
did a great job. I’m very happy.
I am moving from Chastworth to Palm Springs. I interviewed several folks and I decided with NorthStar Moving they arrived on time, their price was reasonable; the gentlemen were courteous, through. I received a call from their office asking me if everything was okay. I am very very pleased with their services of NorthStar Moving.
We just moved into my new place and used NorthStar Moving and this is the first time I used NorthStar Moving and they were fantastic, they arrived at my place a little early, we got everything packed, we got it over here with three guys because normally most places use two. Three guys, fast and easy, everything looks like it’s in great shape. Everything is in here and it actually turned out to be cheaper than the last time I moved. So I would say NorthStar Moving are the movers to use.

I moved my residence with NorthStar Moving 4 times over the last few years. They were incredible time after time. Their prices were more than competitive…they were always on time with highly qualified people that had done the job quickly with complete professionalism and without any hustle to me…The estimated price they gave me upfront was never acceded! Moving is a drag no doubts, NorthStar Moving make it almost enjoyable… I recommend these people all heartily.
I used North Star twice in the past 12 months. I moved from Culver City to Downtown and then also had to move out and store furniture in a storage for a month for a construction in my condo. For my first move I chose them because they are the preferred mover for my condo, and now I know why they are. I am really satisfied with their service.
Both times, making appointments for the on-site estimate and the actual move was very smooth. My second move coincided with the busiest time for moving companies (last weekend of the summer) so I was initially asked to choose a different date. But I needed to move that weekend. The lady on the phone told me she will try to find a spot for me and call back. In about an hour I received a call saying they are able to move me that weekend!
They showed up on time on the date of the move (both times). They were friendly and cautious. They were very fast in packing and very careful with handling my stuff. Each move took about 6 hours.
After each move, I received a follow up calls from the office to make sure the move went OK. You never get that kind of customer care with any other companies.
I will definitely use them again.
