We have used them for our last 3 moves … We recently moved to Newhall from Burbank and they were fast (efficient) , careful and honest. I had a co-worker use another mover(Starving Students) and their moving company re-scheduled their move date at the last minute ! We have never had any bad experiences with Northstar. They have always been responsive to our requests and concerns. Great Customer service is rare these days so we made a point to send NorthStar a note of apprectiation for reducing our moving stress .

We used the guys from NorthStar Moving came in bright and early at just a few
minutes after 8 ready to rock and roll. They wrapped up everything quick in
the morning, got all the furniture together, no scratches, no bumps, no breaks
that I have seen and we got everybody moved in into the place promptly right in the
afternoon, was a really easy move, the guys took care of everything. And they
did a great job. I’m very happy.
I am moving from Chastworth to Palm Springs. I interviewed several folks and I decided with NorthStar Moving they arrived on time, their price was reasonable; the gentlemen were courteous, through. We just moved into my new place and used NorthStar Moving and this is the first time I used NorthStar Moving and they were fantastic, they arrived at my place a little early, we got everything packed, we got it over here with three guys because normally most places use two. Three guys, fast and easy, everything looks like it’s in great shape. Everything is in here and it actually turned out to be cheaper than the last time I moved. So I would say NorthStar Moving are the movers to use.

I moved my residence with NorthStar Moving 4 times over the last few years. They were incredible time after time. Their prices were more than competitive…they were always on time with highly qualified people that had done the job quickly with complete professionalism and without any hustle to me…The estimated price they gave me upfront was never acceded! Moving is a drag no doubts, NorthStar Moving make it almost enjoyable… I recommend these people all heartily.
I used North Star twice in the past 12 months. I moved from Culver City to Downtown and then also had to move out and store furniture in a storage for a month for a construction in my condo. For my first move I chose them because they are the preferred mover for my condo, and now I know why they are. I am really satisfied with their service.
Both times, making appointments for the on-site estimate and the actual move was very smooth. My second move coincided with the busiest time for moving companies (last weekend of the summer) so I was initially asked to choose a different date. But I needed to move that weekend. The lady on the phone told me she will try to find a spot for me and call back. In about an hour I received a call saying they are able to move me that weekend!
They showed up on time on the date of the move (both times). They were friendly and cautious. They were very fast in packing and very careful with handling my stuff. Each move took about 6 hours.
After each move, I received a follow up calls from the office to make sure the move went OK. You never get that kind of customer care with any other companies.
I will definitely use them again.

Ok, so we just got done with moving with NorthStar Moving, it took most of the day because it wasn’t packed at all. I been working all week and they packed us up and they moved us to our new place and it was a remarklable good experience, I mean, I am tired but everything was packed nicely and nothing broke and I was very happy with the entire service. Yeah the guys were really great, really really friendly, super fast, pretty much everything you would want in a move. You guys made it really easy. Thanks a lot! Would you recommend NorthStar? I schedule NorthStar Moving to move my belongings from Pasadena to
Glendale and the guys was suppose to be there at 7am, they were there
right on time. They were amazing. They just kind of swoop through
the townhouse packed everything beautifully and moved it to
Glendale. The move was originally schedule for 12 hours, they were done under 8
hours and the move actually ended up costing me less than what the
estimate was. I am thrilled. I would recommend them to anybody.

This is a glowing review of NorthStar, but before I sing their praises, I must tell you about the ordeal I went through finding them. Several weeks ago I needed a moving company so I visited moving.com (big mistake)~ as immediately I was inundated with 20 or more movers who were all underbidding and slamming the competition. When I arranged for several of these movers to visit my home for a confirming price quote all of a sudden their bids doubled! A classic “bait and switch” tactic.
Finding NorthStar was a dream come true. Tori Fowler not only was patient in handling my inquiry, but she never once put down her competition; That in itself was a refreshing difference! I checked out NorthStar on this BBB site and also protectyourmove.org. and it is important to note that they were the ONLY moving company with a perfect record. I thought to myself, this is too good to be true, but when Ran and his crew arrived to begin moving the furniture I knew our possessions were in good hands.
Ran and his crew were professional and packed everything carefully. Three days later our things arrived in perfect condition in Arizona. Save yourself alot of time and hassle, just choose NorthStar and your next move will be a dream come true!
