I did a local move across LA, and NorthStar was fantastic.  Beforehand, they worked with my apartment to get all the COI information.  The team arrived promptly and did an efficient move out, padding everything well.  Delivery was just as seamless, with the team working quickly, navigating a weird stairwell, and taking care of my items.  For the one small item that did have damage, the crew member took responsibility and the office took care of it easily.  This was incredibly smooth compared to my last move!

NorthStar moved me from San Francisco to Southern California recently, and they were awesome! Jose and his team got all of our things packed and loaded quickly and they delivered everything the next day! Everyone was friendly and nothing got broken. I would absolutely use NorthStar again.

They took care of it all, that´s so important!  Furniture disassembly, wrapping it up with blankets to make sure it reached destination safely, handling our valuables like it was theirs. I have used NorthStar now for 3 moves, they’re the best. As someone that has moved 14 times since 2010, I’ve worked with countless companies and movers and I recently had such a great experience I felt compelled to write a review! I used Northstar once again this past weekend for another move and could not be happier with the service I received. My crew with Jairo, Kevin, Jose, and Enrique was the best I’ve ever worked with, with any company, period. All four guys were beyond friendly and incredibly hard working. It was a 13 hour day for them in which they were all so helpful, professional, and handled all of my stuff with the utmost care. I am not one to write review in general unless I feel like the service absolutely exceeded expectations, which was certainly the case with this crew. I refuse to use anyone else moving forward.

I used NorthStar to move me from Austin to Houston and this was the easiest most professional team I have ever utilized. David, CJ, and Devan were great. The team was very efficient and treated my items with great care. Also they were significantly less expensive then others who wanted to chart me and additional $750 to move from Austin to Houston. Would recommend to anyone looking for movers in Austin.

David, CJ, and Devin _killed it_ during my move. I got a call with an accurate ETA, they listened and stuck to the plan I had at both my old place and new, and they constantly checked in to make sure I was satisfied with the way things were going. A stellar job well done again! This is my 3rd time using this company. I am a very happy customer with all of these times! I give kuddos to this recent move who was with John H. and his team (Leo and Antonio). I had some expectations and there were fully met. I always try to make it easy on the movers and make sure it goes smooth by boxing everything except the big furniture and with easy access. Give all these guys I’ve dealt with a raise and promotion! I have a 6-month lease and depending on my job I may extend another 6 months or year lease. Regardless, I know who will be moving me again in the future.

I wanted to say that I had a very good experience with NorthStar moving company yesterday! From my first phone call with Gabriella Martinez, when she quoted me a fair price to move my daughter. There were two stops needed to complete the moving experience; and they stayed in the proposed budget that was quoted to me. Secondly, the four men that moved us, were very efficient, worked diligently, wrapping all breakables, furniture, etc. with wrap, as needed. These four men were: Kevin, Jose, Noel, and Jaro ( Haro) They made two stops from the storage unit in Northridge to my home to drop off the grand piano  ( no extra charge, because the legs were off ) picked up up a couch and roughly 35 more boxes and dropped them off to a two townhouse with stairs in Canyon Country! They were very helpful, and assembling beds  frames, legs on tables that were taken off etc. and anything that was required of them to do! They always tried to accommodate us. They came prepared with their own lunch and drinks however, I did provide snacks, lunch  and more drinks to them because I felt they really were doing a great job! Furthermore, they were done with everything in less than eight hours. I really recommend this company to anyone that’s looking for a local or a long distance move thank you for all your help! We had booked with another moving company that never showed up. We were desperate to find someone same day. We contacted NorthStar as apart of our barrage of calls to all the movers in the Austin area, and initially, we were told they didn’t have anyone and we’re so sorry. Within 5 to 10 minutes, I got a call from David, who said that he and his team (Deven and CJ), could come help us THAT DAY. David and his crew had the day off, but they worked with us and made sure that not only was our stuff moved, but it was moved fast and efficiently. They made sure to give us the best possible price as well, even though we definitely understood that we were going to have to be paying more. They wanted to make sure that we were taken care of after what happened to us.

I do not leave many reviews but I felt I had to this time.  I recently moved and I was absolutely dreading it (we all know moving sucks).  The packing, the boxes, the tape, etc…it really is a pain in the a$$.  However, I am so thankful that I hired the best company for the job.  Jorge and his team were amazing!  Fast, efficient, clean, friendly, reliable, and most importantly affordable.  I highly recommend Northstar, more specifically Jorge and his A-team.    If I could give you more stars, I would.  Great job!!!

I used NorthStar Moving a couple times about 15 years ago, and fortunately hadn’t had to do a ton of moving since. However, I had to recently move my childhood home chaulk full of stuff! I reached out to NorthStar Moving through Yelp and received a call within 10 minutes or so. We discussed my move and we scheduled a virtual tour via FaceTime. I walked them through and had an estimate by that afternoon (for half the price of the movers recommended by my realtor).

The team called 30 min ahead of arriving and knocked the job out quickly. They brought a team of five and they worked from 9am-5pm with a 30 min break.

All my items were cared for, including antique furniture with glass. Nothing was broken or damaged. The team was courteous and professional the entire time. This company has consistently supported my moves and it is not surprising how the company has grown. A+

We used this company to move from the East coast to Los Angeles 8 years ago and when I decided to move again from east LA to Santa Monica I knew they were the team to use again.  We made the move on Super Bowl Sunday and with only 2 movers we were able to finish in 3 hours (including travel time)…just in time for them to get home to catch the game.  Thank you to Anuvis and team!

Northstar Moving Company has been so accommodating. I had Alejandra B. from their team help guide me over the phone although I was stressed with my day, and she was just so sweet. Her and another worker were so patient – They not only helped me lift everything into my storage from my car, but took everything out of my old storage so I could take pictures of and put everything back in for me  Very good customer service! 10/10 would recommend!
