A rainy day move is not for the week. So, we had to call the best movers in town. NorthStar Moving came in and they were pros. They came in with two big trucks for this big move that we have. Best decision ever. You know, we’ve never done this before. We’ve never moved from house to house. We didn’t know how big of a deal this was going to be, but they knew exactly what to do. They were whipping it up. We thought we had boxes already packed, but they came in and did their thing. Ocean was doing her thing clearly, walking on the red carpet that they provided for us. They wrapped up our clothes, labeled things correctly so that they’re placed in the right room upon arrival. And they even took out all the big shelving that we needed to bring with us. Ocean was put on mover watch duty. She was making sure that they were doing their job. Homer and I were officially on no more stress duty after we got the call that we got the keys the same day we had hired the movers. Yeah, it was crazy. We were living life on the edge. Literally. Saying bye-bye to bath time where you’ve done your whole year in the house. Bath time. Bath time. We’re going to say bye-bye to this bath. Bye-bye. Bye-bye bath time. After they got the house entirely wrapped up with the gym included, it was time to go to our new home. We couldn’t be more excited. When we pulled up, they were already there unpacking. Our team surprised us with this beautiful welcome. So, you already know I had to order some pizza for the guys to take care of them cuz they were taking such good care of us. Shout out to NorthStar. Thank you for taking care of me and my family in this new move. Moving in the rain is not easy.

There are a lot of moving companies out there that are subpar, NorthStar is not one of them. I have used them 4x now, each time has been fantastic. Customer service, movers, drivers, all of them are top-notch. I would not hesitate to trust them with your local or cross-country move. I did more than once and was really happy with them.

I hired NorthStar in Santa Monica, CA to move my apartment to Portland, OR. I had a very short timeframe to hire a mover and get packed to leave. Northstar was the only company willing to work in my timeframe and were eager to help me. From first touch to the final delivery today the competent and caring staff kept me in constant communication and performed exactly as expected, only better.

If you want to hire a mover, you should call NorthStar Movers. They do local moves, they do interstate moves, and they do international moves. We’re moving to a different state, and the crew of three arrived today, and they are the best packers I have ever seen, and I’ve moved a lot. Everything is beautifully done. They worked really fast. Nothing was damaged in the apartment. Nothing was damaged in any of our boxes. And it’s all sitting in the truck downstairs. And we’re done. So, thank you.

Have moved with NorthStar 3 times now (2 moves in Los Angeles and just finished a larger move from LA to SF) and they have consistently done a great job. Staff are super helpful and communicative, and always available to help answer questions. I really appreciated how on pick-up days and move-in days someone from NorthStar checks in with you a few times to make sure everything is going smoothly! In addition, NorthStar’s movers are very professional, efficient, and have taken good care of my belongings. I would def use NorthStar again for any future moves!

NorthStar is incredible! The crew was professional and friendly. I got a call 30 minutes before they arrived and they were right on time. The crew handled all of my belongings with care and were very efficient. I highly recommend NorthStar and would absolutely hire them again.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! This was my 4th move, first time with NorthStar and it was by far the most exceptional moving experience I’ve ever had. Even though the move was fairly local, it was rather complicated as we had 3 different locations that needed deliveries.
Romero and his team showed up on time, with two trucks. After walking through with us, they had a plan in place and everything was executed like clockwork, with precision, care, and professionalism. They were extremely courteous, polite, and somehow (even at the 12th hour of work!) unbelievably cheerful. Nothing got broken, lost, or damaged. I would highly recommend NorthStar to anyone planning a move. I will definitely be calling them again for my next move!!
