I had a lot of anxiety moving all my stuff from Los Angeles to Phoenix, I did a lot of research and went through a lot of quotes. NorthStar was great! Both Los Angeles and Phoenix teams were very professional, friendly, did amazing job packing and unpacking. No damages! Also price was great compared to other companies out there! I will definitely recommend you guys to my friends!

I used these guys to move on Sunday October 21st and they were great. They arrived 10 mins early and were polite, efficient and respectful. The whole job was done faster than expected and I appreciated that at the end, they double checked if we wanted any boxes or pieces of furniture moved to different rooms. Shout out to Jorge J, Jorge L and Juan R – good guys.
These guys were the best! It was the best moving experience we’ve ever had. Manny and his team were completely polite, respectful both to us and our home belongings, and really took care to ensure everything was moved well without bumps and scratches. They wrapped up larger items incredibly well and overall just did a great job. The moving costs were reasonable and there were no surprise fees and everything summed up to just what we anticipated. The movers are so professional, they did the job very efficiently, and also took our stuff very carefully. I definitely recommend the company and crew to someone planing the long distance moving. They will save your lots of trouble, and you won’t regret to choose them.
The pickup staffs are really professional and knowledgeable about uninstalling different kinds of furniture. The price also reasonable. We really appreciate their help! North Star would be the best choice for your moving.
The NorthStar moving company was super easy to set up and very responsive. My old roommate recommend them to me. The movers came at the time they said they would and were very respectful. They packed up my table carefully and wrapped everything up securely. There were complimentary wardrobe boxes that came in handy for moving my clothes. I had most everything in Rubbermaid containers but I had some odd and ends they threw into a big box. They were fast and efficient moving me out too. It took about 2.5 hours total for a large 1B from Hollywood to Burbank. This was their minimum charge so it all worked out
Arthur, Lloyd and Jose are some of the funniest hard working group of guys I have ever had the joy to work with. They told me exactly what and how they were going to do the job. They moved quickly and carefully. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move.
Very good job, hard working and professional movers, they took care of everything and got everything ready in no time, my friend recommended them to me and I have to say I am really happy with the experience.
They worked really hard to get everything done, but they were super careful as well, so nothing got damaged and we have to say we are very satisfied with their job.

I requested a quote from multiple movers, and NorthStar replied via Yelp quickly. NorthStar’s rates are more competitive than other movers. I had a question so I called, and someone picked up the phone immediately. I didn’t have to punch in a few numbers to get connected to a person. The person was helpful and I booked NorthStar. An agreement was emailed to me immediately after I hung up, and I confirmed via email.
On moving day, the movers called me to give me their ETA. Unfortunately there were a few accidents, so they texted me to give me an updated ETA. I realize things come up and appreciated the update. They still arrived within the window.
The movers were professional and helpful. They brought materials and supplies. They wrapped up the furniture in blankets. They worked quickly loading and unloading. They asked us where boxes should be unloaded instead of just dumping then in the garage or random rooms. Nothing was damaged during the move.
All in all, they were great and I highly recommend them.

Edna Brewer Middle School would like to thank NorthStar Moving for their partnership with the Global Climate Action Summit and for donating their moving services to transfer items from the Moscone Center to Oakland after the event.
NorthStar Moving managed the delivery of the donation of over 4,000 sq. ft. of carpet and other materials to several Oakland area middle schools in order for them to perform upgrades to their facilities. As part of the overall sustainability plan for the Summit, these items were part of the post-event donation of materials to local schools. Reginald and his team of 3 guys were awesome. They were fast, courteous, funny, and careful with our belongings. I’d recommend them to anyone moving in the SF area and will definitely call them next time I move.
Husband says: these guys just helped us move. Really nice and friendly and fast. Called on Monday, moved on Thursday. Easy to communicate with, called me day of with an accurate arrival time. Packed up everything themselves nice and securely. Provided all packing materials and took care with everything. Will definitely use them again in a few months when we can move back to our apartment. Fast response, reasonable price, professional guys, big smiles, easy to work with.
Brandon and his team were awesome! We had booked an 8AM move but due to come complications with scheduling, the movers didn’t arrive until 4PM. Although unfortunate, Brandon came in with his team, apologetic and ready to get us packed up and moved quickly. Brandon was positive and professional, and made sure that we were happy throughout the move. Thew NorthStar team was very communicative through the scheduling process and was quick to followup with me over an issue that we ran into. Overall I will definitely consider Northstar for my next move (which will hopefully be years down the road!)

Arthur personally took the time and care to safeguard my belongings. He was very professional, methodic and showed great care. Another 5 star experience.
The crew from Pine Street were top notch. They were on time and very efficient. They carefully boxed up all stuff that one accumulated over 23 yrs.
Arthur, Bryant and Jose were great. They showed care and compassion with my stuff. It was great to have those guys make sure I knew what was going on. Paperwork was easy and they were curious to my crazy neighbors too.

They called an hour before showing up and arrived at the time that was estimated. They got right to work and we’re much faster than I’ve ever seen movers in the past. We had a lot of stuff to move including boxes, furniture, lamps, and all kinds of random things but everything was moved into the truck in less than an hour. They also provided these really awesome hanger boxes for our clothes in the closet that made everything much smoother and quicker. Overall, professional and efficient movers that charged one of the best rates in the Bay Area. Highly recommend!!!

She walked me through all the details and the process, and we were able to find a working time for us with a week’s notice.

the guys were so wonderful. they showed up on time and worked very diligently. they didn’t dawdle around and weren’t even planning on taking a lunch break until i asked them to so i could buy a little time. they wrapped everything very carefully and well since all is going to long term storage. additionally, they took all my trash out to the dumpster without my asking. super workers, all of them. thanks so much.
I’m late posting this because unpacking with twins is hectic but Junior & crew were in charge of our move from the LAX area out to Victorville on the 10th & they were quick, pleasant, & 100% on top of everything! After a quick walk through to see what needed to go where they expertly packed & loaded everything & made it as stress-free as possible. Thanks so much to everyone that helped on our move! I would definitely go through this company again.

Never in my 16 experiences of moving have I met such a professional team of individuals who not only executed everything perfectly with ZERO damage and ZERO problems…. but ALSO showed up exactly on time with everything as promised and more. As stressful as moving can be these guys will help make it easier.
Side note: we moved from the city to a mountain top and these guys STILL found a way to not only accomplish everything in less than a day but they also made it a very enjoyable experience for me and my brother.
My entire family will only be using this company from now on since they share the same exact experience, clearly there is a good level of consistency rather than us just getting lucky with a good team.
