NorthStar Moving company was absolutely incredible. They were fast, friendly, and most importantly – careful. They were able to move all of our stuff with ease and everything came in perfect condition! We were lucky enough to have Roger, Luis and Jose who are absolutely amazing people with a keen eye for furniture placement! We have used a few moving companies before and this was by far our best experience. We will definitely use them for our next move! I would highly recommend them.

Noe, Roger, and Edgar were amazing and efficient. They showed up on time and had everything packed into the truck within half an hour despite my elevator not working. They were so careful with my canvas paintings and anything with glass. They also come prepared with huge extra boxes and plenty of packing tape should you need it. This proved to be super hand with my loose pillows. I was moving from a studio apartment but had plenty of crap but they still managed to be within the three hour minimum (with no elevator either way) Would recommend to anyone who is looking to move! Edgar and his team are the best! I had them move both my furniture in my place and my boyfriend’s from his place into a new spot. They were very nice, professional and efficient! I have some really delicate heirloom antique furniture and they were really gentle with it. I also told Edgar that the place we were moving into had really light carpeting – he said not to worry and they brought some runners to put on the ground to preserve the carpet. Couldn’t ask for better service, we are very happy with our move and that we chose Northstar to do it!
My three movers were Logan, Carlos, and Jorge. They moved quickly and were super polite! When I asked Logan what I should be doing, he told me to sit back and relax! I felt terrible because I had so much stuff but the three of them quickly moved all my stuff out of my old place and into my new place. No issues at all! It only took them two hours to move everything out of my one bedroom compared to when I moved in- it took hours more doing it myself. They even shrink wrapped and padded my furniture down as well. I had a few odd ends and weird packed things in which they packed neatly and secure for me! When we got to my new place, I had to check in with my leasing office and kept the three of them waiting but they were patient and productive during that time. When I finally got my keys I found all three of them working and loading the carts ahead of time while they were waiting for me. Now that’s a good use of time! I would definitely use NorthStar again and wish I could use this same team. Definitely worth the price and saved me the fat headache of moving. Thank you!!!
Haitham and his crew Sergio and Juan were really professional and caring. They protected every item and moved really fast. They took all my furniture and cover them with blankets and put them back together in my new place. It took them a few hours to do the whole job and they were really good at it. These guys are good, caring and trustworthy people. You can tell they love their jobs. I’ve moved only once before but now that i know these guys i will recommend them to anybody that will do the same. Hire these guys!!
I’ve moved countless times with different companies; however, NorthStar made an already stressful move much less stressful. They brought a 3 man crew: Miguel V., Andrew S., and David A. They were exceptional, polite, professional, and quick. They wrapped all of my fragile items and took great care of everything throughout the procdess. Edgar and his crew were fast and efficient. They arrived on time and was friendly and courteous. The dispatch called 45 minutes ahead of time to notify me they were coming. Once they arrived they loaded every thing very quickly and efficiently. They carefully wrapped my bookcases, tables, and mattress. They were very careful with all my boxes and furnitures. There were no damages at all. I’m very happy with the way they packed everything and how fast they were at both packing and moving. At arrival of my new apartment, they unloaded everything very quickly and unwrapped all the furniture very fast. All was done in less time than I thought. So happy with Edgar and his crew. Will definitely use North Star again when I move.
Let me start by saying I’ve had to move three times in the past year and have used three different moving companies. NorthStar was my best moving experience by far and I’ve used them twice now. The guys showed up on time(even a little earlier for one) and helped me finish packing up the last of my stuff. They wrapped all the furniture before moving so nothing got scratched or tarnished and moved it into their truck with care. What really helped is that they also disassembled and reassembled my furniture – this was a godsend. Really, what more can you ask for in a moving company. North Star Movers are by far the best moving company for your money. Randy, Dom, and Erin were friendly, professional, and timely at moving our two-bedroom apartment 30 minutes across town in a total of 5 hours. They were careful at wrapping and moving our larger pieces of furniture as well.
The most important part to us about these movers is that they stay on point until the job is done. Our last movers took a number of smoke breaks and ran the clock, but North Star was on task. We will definitely be calling them again for our next move.

Rodger and his crew moved our 2 bedroom apartment in San Francisco this morning. They worked tirelessly and did not waste time. They made sure to take care of all our belongings by carefully wrapping everything with blankets and packing material. They were very professional and courteous. We started off getting a few quotes from other highly rated moving companies as well — even though their estimate was slightly more than some of their competitors, they seemed the most professional. I’m glad we went with our gut, because this was by far the best moving experience we’ve ever had for relocating our office. Their employees were cool and didn’t complain about any of the hard work all day, and they didn’t break anything either! If you’re looking to have the job done right, go with Northstar.

We did our move the day after new years. The guys were on time, quick and careful. They also helped us assemble our furniture after we got to the new place. For the price and quality of the move, my fiancee and i were both very happy They honored our voucher from yelp and also gave us 3% discount for paying cash. Would definitely use the again if I moved in the bay or elsewhere

Moving sucks. No two ways about it but, with the help of Logan, Carlo and Arthur from NorthStar at least it was painless. The guys were fast, courteous and did I mention fast?? I really appreciated the help. Highly recommend.
The guys from Northstar were on time, professional and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Ivan, Jose, Augustine, and Pedro were all awesome. They communicated set expectations, and followed through every step of the move. Timing wise they were solid. 3 hours out 1.5 move in roughly for our 1200 square foot place. If myself, my mom, wife, father in law, and kids they could ha e done it faster. Kicked ads the way and where way cooler than the last guys that moved us.

Awesome experience with these movers! They were very punctual and communicative about time and move from the get go. They wrapped and taped everything protecting all my new furniture and delivered everything in a timely manner.
