The Eric and the team was awesome, attentive to detail, gave a quick honest estimate of the max amount that will be charged on the move. This was great so that we have a good expectation setup!
Another great aspect was how the team really stepped up in asking our needs, letting us know if we need anything more and so on. No damages and also they were super proactive about the charges, letting us know exactly how they don’t charge during the lunch time and also once the move was done, excluding the time of paperwork and etc.
Junior and his crew were great! They were super friendly and easy to work with. They moved everything quickly and assembled any necessary items. Nothing was broken. I will definitely use them in the future. Thank you Junior!
Have been meaning to write a review on our move last March. We had Junior, Wendel A and Kevin A do our move. They arrived on time and did a great job! We had some horrible circumstances that were not their fault and in fact made their jobs harder, but they were so nice about it. The freight elevator in our building broke down right before they got there. So they had to use the 2 main elevators that everyone in the building was using (over 500 apartments.) It was terrible. Some of our furniture would not fit in the small elevators so these guys had to carry it down 6 flights of stairs. I would have quit if it were me, but they were really reassuring about it and didn’t make me feel bad at all. They worked SO HARD! I packed most of our stuff myself, but they wrapped all of my furniture for me and did a really good job. Everything made it to the new place in one piece. I was really impressed and happy with our experience! Thank you!
Junior and his crew (Reynaldo and William) were terrific. They were conscious of time and worked swiftly while at the same time being careful with handling my stuff. Because of the sad experience I had with my previous move, I was so worried, but Junior turned an otherwise stressful situation into a pleasant experience. I will definitely hire them again on my next move and will recommend them to friends.
Adan, Anthony and Eric were excellent movers today! This my second time using NorthStar and each time they have been kind and taken great care of our stuff. They were all very careful and took time to package everything so it could be safely be moved, even taking apart bookshelves and helping us solve for tough situations with couches and narrow doorways. I would highly recommend using NorthStar movers for your next move. Expect a trustworthy and friendly group!
I am so pleased with North Star! I researched 7 different moving companies in my area and chose NS because they were most affordable. When they arrived they were friendly, professional and ready to get to work. They did not stop at all! Each of the 3 workers never stopping moving! They were incredible with packing our things and they reallllly wrapped up our breaksables and furniture which assured me. They also took good care of my many plants. Roger continually checked in with me about where I wanted my items to be placed in the new location and sought my approval before finishing anything. I am genuinely so pleased with this company and will absolutely refer them to others!
The crew was incredible! They just left after an 8 hour day, and we couldn’t be happier. The good service started when I called to schedule the move and they were available for the time and day we needed. I was pleasantly surprised! While we had packed most of our stuff, they were able to gather the miscellaneous items; we didn’t realize we had so much! They were kind, quick and careful with our belongings. While I hope we don’t have to move again for a long time, I would use them again in a heartbeat.
North Star movers booked me very quickly and they really accommodated my last minute need to move. I really appreciated that. They were straight forward with the price and were excited thst I was using my Yelp deal.
The movers arrived on time and got started on the job right away. I was handling my kids so I could not always keep am eye on them but they handled themselves well. I encountered a few issues with their speed and efficiency but when I communicated this to a supervisor in their client loyalty team, they hopped right on it and made sure i was happy with their service.
I love one of their slogans which is “we’re not always perfect but we care when we aren’t perfect.” that is important because any business that goes out of their way to ensure their clients happiness is a great business to work with. Thanks again North Star!

Had a crew of four guys. For some odd reason I always have moving day on a hot day. But these guys never complained, worked super hard and did it while being pleasant and funny. Moving day can be overwhelming and stressful but these guys did what they could to make the process smooth and stress free. I had some very fragile items and a piano and these guys were super careful and wrapped everything. I also told them my new home had a brand new paint job and floors and they took extra special care moving our stuff in. If I ever move again I would not hesitate to hire them again. And I hope I get the same crew!
Steven, Adi and Arturo were friendly, fast and careful with all of our stuff. Enjoyed chatting with them throughout the 3 hour move. Would definitely hire these gents again.

Excellent!!!!! From the estimate all the way thru the move , we did a local moving from Woodland Hills to Tarzana, the crew was extremely professional !!! The crew kept things going from the time that showed up to pack us up until we were fully moved in ! That showed up on schedule and fully prepared . That took care of our furniture , the price was more then reasonable !!! We will definitely use them in the future, highly recommended!!!!
I have to say that Junior and his team did an awesome job packing and moving our furniture. They are courteous and very professional, and very light at the same time. You almost don’t feel that they are there. Their methods of packing the big items are amazing, I’ve never seen how perfectly the mattresses and beds were boxed and wrapped.

I used Northstar moving company for my move from Japantown to Hayes Valley in San Francisco. I had to move my 1bedroom apartment with bedroom, livingroom and kitchen items.
Andres, Jose, and Noe came to help me with my move. They were very efficient. Arrived on time. They packed all breakable stuff with bubble wraps.
The unloading process was faster than the loading process. They were in and out in no time!

NorthStar Movers were extremely helpful with my move. I called to book and the person on the line was extremely helpful and able to answer all my question. The day of the move Andres called giving me an estimated time of arrival, and Andres, Jose, and Jair showed up on time and ready to work. They carefully wrapped all my items and took great care while moving them down the stairs. When we arrived at the destination they worked carefully and efficiently to put all my furniture back together. Having NorthStar movers was a great help and I will definitely be using them for future moves!
For the second time in two years we are impressed with Northstar movers. They are timely, efficient, and best of all so nice. Pablo, Cesar and Brandon were very communicative and listened to all of our instructions. They were honest with us about challenges with our move and things were adjusted to make things as easy as possible. We feel like our new place is set up and ready to go because the guys were so great about putting everything where it needed to be.
