I first discovered NorthStar in 2014. It was a very emotional move from San Francisco to San Mateo County to be closer to work. It was a 2 destination job and they were terrific! Had to move again and who else would we use? NORTHSTAR!!! Beatriz in the office is awesome and so nice to work with her again for move #3!

Very smooth and positive experience. A crew of 3 called half an hour before arrival, which was nice, and then loaded in my 2 bed then my partner’s 1 bed at a different location – then got everything into our new place without issue. Watching them work, I realized that it was laughable to think I could’ve moved all that myself in less than about 14 hours (no joke).

These guys are awesome! They took what I thought would be a hard job, and made it look easy. Without a doubt, it was not. I had 10 very large and heavy boxes, that they made very short work of moving from point A to point B. Very easy to work with. They use their time very efficiently. Fully staffed when they arrived on-site. I have used NorthStar Movers several times now, and have yet to be disappointed by any aspect of their service. I will more than likely use them for moves in the future, and would recommend to all of my friends.
Movers team gave a courtesy call at 8:00am arrived promptly at 8:30am. Anthony, Emanuel, and Jason were fast, professional, and friendly. We were a little worried about moving all our furniture across town but they had everything packed safely and ready to go by 11:00. The entire move was over by 12! Not a single scratch on any piece of furniture and they even got our clothes in the closets. Usually I’d just call a couple friends over and we’d move it over the course of an entire day and eat a pizza afterwards, but now I just get to keep the pizza for myself.
Great experience from start to finish, showed up on time, great communications throughout and best of all dealt with the issues that came up with a smile on their faces! In the pick up location there was a flight of stairs but that did not stop the crew from getting all my boxes and furniture out in a fast but safe manner. We did a walk through at the beginning and at the end to make sure everything was great. At my delivery location we had some inconveniences with the parking but they quickly figured that situation and my unloading part of the move went just great! I will surely call this guys again if i have to move next time! Great job guys!
I have used Northstart for the third time this time, moving from LA to Long Beach. The service was quick, professional and courteous and they were equipped with all packing supplies needed. I got a truck and a crew of three: Deon, Andy, Isaiah. All very friendly and very fast and effectively. I would definitely recommend them and use them in my next move. Very happy with them each time I called them.

On an exceptionally hot (even hotter than normal Phx weather) day..these guys worked like it was cold out!! Got me out of my 2nd story apartment and into storage within 3 hours! They were friendly, fun and didn’t complain once..

David and his team were fantastic! Quick, efficient, and friendly guys. They took good care of everything and got our move done in a timely manor. They paid special attention to detail and valuable items as well as taking care around our walls and property. I had an awesome experience with Northstar movers! They were great at communicating timing and were super quick to load up their truck and offload. On time, professional, friendly. Excellent service. This is my third time using Northstar and I will use them again. They came in under my estimate and gave me a discount on materials for being a repeat client. My move actually required unpacking services and all the boxes were unloaded. Highly recommend!!!!
My boyfriend and I recently decided to move in together. I found a few different moving companies with great reviews on Angie’s List and set up appointments to get in-person written estimates. Ilan did the estimates and was super efficient, friendly, and professional. We decided to go with Northstar based on that experience, the reviews I had read, and the fact that the written estimate came in lower than the other companies. We booked them to move me from the Valley to West Adams on a Saturday, and my boyfriend from Culver City the day after, on Sunday. Jorge J. and his crew showed up at my house on Saturday exactly on time and they worked their asses off until all of my stuff was safely moved into the new house. I loved the job that Jorge did so much that I requested him and his crew for my boyfriend’s move on Sunday. Again, they showed up exactly on time and got to work right away. The elevator in my boyfriend’s apartment building broke about two hours into the move, forcing the guys to haul the rest of my boyfriend’s stuff, including huge pieces of furniture, down three flights of stairs through an incredibly narrow back staircase. They had such a great attitude about the whole thing, remained super friendly and professional, and again I was blown away by how hard they worked to get the job done. I highly recommend Northstar, and I highly recommend Jorge J. and crew for a stress-free (or as stress free as any move can be) move.

First time using North Star and I’m very pleased. Jonathan, Michael, and Andy are very efficient and courteous! Got it done in only a few hours! Next time I move I’ll be using North Star again, hopefully with the same crew!
Northstar were awesome. My movers shown up on time. My movers were David, Steven and Elmer. My move window was between 8-10am and my move team called me at 7.38am. The movers were at building by 8am. The movers were very professional and friendly. The movers were fast in moving me from my old apartment to my new apartment. They protected my furniture and belonging. They disassembled my bedframe my furniture and assembled it back in one piece, which prior moving companies has a difficulty in dissembling and assembling. I would definitely recommend Nortstarr movers and the great team that moved me.
North Star movers are first class, professional and efficient movers! The the only moving you should use if you’re in Los Angeles. This is my second time using them for a move. They arrived right on time and moved our entire 2-bedroom in 3-hours.

Just had Northstar move our 2 bedroom apartment to our condo and they did an amazing job!! Very fast, friendly and most importantly careful when moving!! I will say the move was difficult…not only did we have so much junk…the movers had to walk extremely far from the street to both our apartment and condo but they did it with a smile and quickly!! I would highly recommend Northstar movers they are amazing!!

Very professional! They came in on time and made sure all of our furniture was protected and well transported. They help with disassembling furniture and assembling in the new house (other companies don’t offer this, but they don’t tell you this) Also the booking process was very professional, I got an agent assigned and got a quote by email (some other companies won’t give you a quote by email, which raised an alarm for me). A friend recommended us this company for moving and they are definitely great, I will recommend to anyone who is planning to move.
