David and his team were fantastic! Quick, efficient, and friendly guys. They took good care of everything and got our move done in a timely manor. They paid special attention to detail and valuable items as well as taking care around our walls and property. On time, professional, friendly. Excellent service. This is my third time using Northstar and I will use them again. They came in under my estimate and gave me a discount on materials for being a repeat client. My move actually required unpacking services and all the boxes were unloaded. Highly recommend!!!!
My boyfriend and I recently decided to move in together. I found a few different moving companies with great reviews on Angie’s List and set up appointments to get in-person written estimates. Ilan did the estimates and was super efficient, friendly, and professional. We decided to go with Northstar based on that experience, the reviews I had read, and the fact that the written estimate came in lower than the other companies. We booked them to move me from the Valley to West Adams on a Saturday, and my boyfriend from Culver City the day after, on Sunday. Jorge J. and his crew showed up at my house on Saturday exactly on time and they worked their asses off until all of my stuff was safely moved into the new house. I loved the job that Jorge did so much that I requested him and his crew for my boyfriend’s move on Sunday. Again, they showed up exactly on time and got to work right away. The elevator in my boyfriend’s apartment building broke about two hours into the move, forcing the guys to haul the rest of my boyfriend’s stuff, including huge pieces of furniture, down three flights of stairs through an incredibly narrow back staircase. They had such a great attitude about the whole thing, remained super friendly and professional, and again I was blown away by how hard they worked to get the job done. I highly recommend Northstar, and I highly recommend Jorge J. and crew for a stress-free (or as stress free as any move can be) move.

I had spoken with the rep, Beatriz, and she helped me set up my move and was very prompt and informative! She also let me know that there was a coupon that I could buy off Yelp.
My move time was between 8-10 arrival, David and Jimmy gave me a call around 7:45 to let me know they’ll be there around 8:45.
They got my one bedroom apartment cleared in about an hour and a half. Including large items like fridge, bed, and couches.
All of the boxes and furniture were moved into the new apartment within an hour, super efficient and fast!

First time using North Star and I’m very pleased. Jonathan, Michael, and Andy are very efficient and courteous! Got it done in only a few hours! Next time I move I’ll be using North Star again, hopefully with the same crew!
Northstar were awesome. My movers shown up on time. My movers were David, Steven and Elmer. My move window was between 8-10am and my move team called me at 7.38am. The movers were at building by 8am. The movers were very professional and friendly. The movers were fast in moving me from my old apartment to my new apartment. They protected my furniture and belonging. They disassembled my bedframe my furniture and assembled it back in one piece, which prior moving companies has a difficulty in dissembling and assembling. I would definitely recommend Nortstarr movers and the great team that moved me.
North Star movers are first class, professional and efficient movers! The the only moving you should use if you’re in Los Angeles. This is my second time using them for a move. They arrived right on time and moved our entire 2-bedroom in 3-hours.

Just had Northstar move our 2 bedroom apartment to our condo and they did an amazing job!! Very fast, friendly and most importantly careful when moving!! I will say the move was difficult…not only did we have so much junk…the movers had to walk extremely far from the street to both our apartment and condo but they did it with a smile and quickly!! I would highly recommend Northstar movers they are amazing!!
We booked NorthStar on Tuesday for a move on Friday and they were able to schedule us Friday morning! This in itself felt like a miracle to me.

Very professional! They came in on time and made sure all of our furniture was protected and well transported. They help with disassembling furniture and assembling in the new house (other companies don’t offer this, but they don’t tell you this) Also the booking process was very professional, I got an agent assigned and got a quote by email (some other companies won’t give you a quote by email, which raised an alarm for me). A friend recommended us this company for moving and they are definitely great, I will recommend to anyone who is planning to move.

We were given a do not exceed quote, which is a rarity for these businesses, and it was a pretty reasonable amount of money for our large amount of furniture. David A., Trevor and Jimmy were incredible – they finished in half the time we anticipated and were extremely easy to work with. Our furniture was treated delicately, laid out the way we requested and arrived in the condition it was picked up in. I recommend this company to anyone who is tired of movers intentionally slowing down the move to rack up more charges, these guys went incredibly quickly and saved us all time!

Furniture and walls are exactly as they were before the move in both houses. Employees are professional and all good people. Would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.
This is my 4th move with north star and I wouldn’t use anyone else. The crew was punctual, professional and thorough. I really have to say that their crews get better with each move, especially this one. The foreman this time, David, made sure that we were taken care of and everything was in it’s right place. He was always asking what they could do differently to accommodate us. The crew of Kevin and Tavon added muscle and meticulously placed my articles properly. Five stars to this crew. I want them next time, but I know they’ll be managers by then.
Hired NorthStar Movers for a move in LA, and I couldn’t recommend them more! They were punctual, professional, careful, and moved with a sense of purpose. Getting around in LA is no easy feat, but they were able to find my building, get everything 8 stories down to their truck quickly, transport everything to my new place, and haul it all 12 stories up from there. There was damage to a cheap bookcase I had, but I honestly believe it was due to the cheap, poor construction of the case itself (it was a $40 build-it-yourself one). Other than that, everything arrived in as good of condition as it left, and they even arranged the furniture in the configuration I wanted them to. Absolutely top-notch service at a VERY fair price point. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, and I’ll be using them again if/when I moved next time!
My husband called and scheduled movers for our Bay Area move. North Star was able to schedule us with less than a weeks notice. Jason, Bidel and Augustine did an excellent job. Worked very fast loading our furniture and delivered it across the bay from San Francisco to Oakland in one day. Broke down and reassembled all of our furniture very quickly. They were very easy to work with and respectful of our time. If we ever have to move again we would use them again. We highly recommend north star movers!
I used Northstar three years ago to move my friend from his house into an assisted-living residence, and again in July 2017 for another move. For all three moves the movers were professional and everything went smoothly. They are very good at packing things I wasn’t able to pack myself, like a big TV set, computer, large lamps and artwork.
