Overall they did a great job. I had a weekday move and they told me they would be there from 8-10a. They called me at 8a and told me they would by there around 9:30a, which is when they arrived. They first assessed the move and brought the necessary equipment. They supplied runners, extra boxes if needed, tape, dollies and other moving equipment. We only moved to another building in the same complex and it was seamless.
Great experience with Northstar today, excellent crew and very quick move. They helped put a few things in wardrobe boxes to speed the process and were very professional.

North Star was great! They were very friendly! And then they were careful of the furniture when moving. We just bought a new house, so they were super careful around the corners and working around our other boxes. They kept a detailed inventory, which we appreciated. And team made sure everything was finished efficiently. They were on time and ready to go. Alma helped estimate the move and her customer service was great. She also followed up with me to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend NorthStar to others. Thank you!

Part 2 – Moving Day
Despite some initial confusion on the part of North Star as we were expecting a larger crew to make the move faster, Jesse, Kevin, and Tony just absolutely killed it again.
They worked hard, never complained, and were once again extremely efficient.
Everything was moved and unloaded and we couldn’t have picked a better crew if we were given the choice 😀
They were awesome and all in all came in under the “not to exceed” price by several hundred dollars.

I heard about Northstar from my local mommy facebook group. I was asking around for good, reliable movers and one of the moms mentioned that she was really happy with Northstar. So I ended up calling them and I am really glad I did. Vatche, along with his team Brandon and Pablo did an amazing job helping me move to my first house. Moving is an incredibly stressful undertaking but Vatche and his team made me feel like I could count on them to do the job well. They genuinely care about their customers and were easy to communicate with. These guys work very hard and go the extra mile. I am happily moved into my new home and would call Northstar again in a heartbeat when I move to my next house.
The NorthStar Moving Team is fabulous!! They were so efficient in packing up almost all of my belongings in a very crowded one bedroom apartment. I went to another room for a few minutes and could not believe all they had accomplished in the short time I was gone. They are great packers and are very careful with delicate items. We were also so happy with their efficiency and care when they unpacked all of our stuff at the new place. On top of all of that, they are really nice and very professional. I couldn’t recommend them more!!
Can’t say enough positive things about our move with Northstar from SF to Seattle. They were professional, patient, and clear with their explanations of their rates and policies. They were readily available by phone to discuss the move ahead of time. They helped customize a moving plan that worked for our timeline and budget. The day of our move, Nelson and his crew arrived on time after calling us when they were on their way. They were very very friendly and efficient. They took care with our items, packing them well. Nelson was great in explaining their packing and transport procedures. I’d definitely request Nelson and his crew for any moves and Northstar overall!
NorthStar just moved us for the second time (we used them on our previous move 10 years ago), and once again, I couldn’t be happier with the work. The guys were a pleasure to work with, and even came on the early side in anticipation of the extremely hot day we had today. They worked quickly and were willing to move things around as we needed them. I’d highly recommend NorthStar to anyone looking to move. Randy, Anthony, Alex, and Gabriel are the best! They also sent someone out to do an estimate free of charge, which was really nice. I got multiple estimates for this move and these guys were the best.
Vatche and Brandon are troopers. Due to an estimate miscalculation they were expecting a quicker and far more efficient process. I have books and knick knacks galore and they patiently wrapped and packed everything while maintaining their professionalism. Northstar was recommended to me and I have not been disappointed today. These guys are wonderful and I am truly grateful for their help today.
It’s the hottest day of the year so far, but my movers showed up on time. They called, they were courteous it was Randy Victor, & Gabriel. They did a wonderful job and we had heavy things with steps! So hats off to Northstar Movers. I highly recommend. I’ve moved before and had other movers but not with a success that I’ve had today.
Edwin, Dean, and Leno were AMAZING!!!! I can’t believe what a great job they did, and so fast!!! I get nervous easily, and they reassured me the whole time. Today I had a team of three guys, Vatche, Brendan and Eric move me out of my apartment. They arrived promptly at the beginning of my designated window with bright smiles on their faces. The team leader Vatche was very professional and walked me through all the paper work, carefully explaining each aspect of the job and expenses along the way. The gentlemen worked quickly and efficiently the entire time. They took extra care of all of my belongings, this was important as I have a ridiculous amount of glass, mirrors, and heavy furniture. But the best part was how polite and helpful each team member was. I would absolutely recommend this moving company and my team in particular. I have moved quite a few times and this was my first GREAT experience! Thanks guys!!!

Moving day out of San Francisco, and we decided to go with Northstar movers again, because they are awesome! Our friend recommended them to us when we moved from LA, and they are highly efficient in getting multiple pieces of furniture out at once, and while doing it super carefully! I was really impressed at how they explained the process from picking up the pieces to taking them to the warehouse where they will be picked up again to go back down to southern CA. You want honesty when you have movers take your valuable items, and we really appreciate the movers from Northstar Pleasanton for helping us out!!
Northstar is my first moving company and I couldn’t be more happy with the service that they crew that arrived gave me. Randy, Ricardo, and Cj did an amazing job protecting my furniture and packing my belongings. I received a call ahead of time letting me know that they we’re coming so I was able the be ready when they came. My movers were very polite and professional with their work. They were able to pack all my furniture from a two bedroom and got it out without even a scratch on the walls. Very careful guys. I would recommend people hire this company as they have quality service and that’s what matters the most. Price wise ok just because their service was great. I’m very thankful of the way my move went, really smooth. After this experience I will never move by myself again.
Vatche and his crew did an excellent job today of moving our belongings. They were very careful with our items. This is our first time using NorthStar. We definitely recommend them. They are very personable and pleasant. They work hard and efficiently. We had a large piece of furniture that was awkward and somewhat fragile, and they expertly managed to get it on the small elevator. They worked well together. If you want to make sure you are well taken care of, use this company. These guys are the best. Don’t look any further. North Star made my moving day easy. Thanks again guys!

Planning a long out of state move is rough and take a lot of time. I had maybe 30 boxes and 5 pieces of furniture including a bed, tables, and chairs. Got my two hour window and I was ready to go.
Tail end comes and my boys Jesse, Kevin, and Corry show up (or Kevin and the band). Not only were they super professional, coming fully equipped with dollies and packing materials, they were highly efficient – taking almost 400 pounds of materials in one go, amazing!
One of my guys helped me out in the paperwork, super easy to sign and broke down the process real smoothly. Sure enough, another North Star employee emailed me the next day with an exact rate very close to the estimate I got.
From my call from Alma over the phone to my three guys on move out day, North Star has very personable basically been flawless support for my move. I am literally a better person from this move, and I look forward to seeing them on the other side.

It was nice to meet Jonathan, Jason and Marvin. It was a successful experience. Movers were polite and sweet. Good attitudes and nice smiles. Jonathan took apart my bed and put it back together efficiently. Set up the furniture nicely for me. Nothing broken. My cats are very happy with the way their things were handled, too. Even though Jonathan is allergic, he pushed through and got the job done efficiently. $690 for 6 hours is what it ended up costing. I would recommend.

My husband and I have always handled our own moves in the past, so I was a little nervous and unsure what to expect since this was our first time using movers. Deon and his crew quickly got down to business loading our many boxes on the truck and paying close attention to detail to make sure all our furniture was properly wrapped up and ready to go. Everyone was friendly and didn’t seem to let the heat wave slow them down. Unpacking went smoothly, which was important to me because it started to feel like home again by the end of the day and was a huge help in welcoming my toddler from daycare to a place she recognized. North Star Movers did a great job and I will definitely plan on using them in future moves!
We just had a move from Anaheim to Lake Arrowhead to finally retire. Abraham and his crew on Monday and again late Tuesday afternoon for some extra items made the move easy instead of a nightmare. They were fast, courteous, and professionally wrapped everything. Nothing was damaged and they handled our items as if they were their own.
