From the office to the movers, I can’t recommend them enough.
I had to cancel and reschedule my move twice due to misinformation from the apartment complex I was moving to and everything was handled with a very high level of customer service, care and professionalism.
My movers, Johan, Jesus and David were great to work with. They were on-time, careful with my possessions, careful with time management and very pleasant to work with.

The Northstar Movers with Gil & Kevin in charge were amazing. Kevin calmed my nerves because I was feeling very emotional for me with moving all the furniture and paintings out of my father’s estate and there were so many memories and it was very so difficult but Kevin made it so wonderful. He kept appeasing & calming me and letting me know that they would take care of everything. Assuring me that nothing would break since they would take extra care caution as they were valuable to antiques. They are the best and most transparent moving company you are going to find. I was quoted a price range and it ended up being on the lower end as they finished the job very quickly while not damaging anything. The movers were really nice and honestly they work so hard I was really glad I chose North Star movers as I read some awful moving stories from some other companies. Definitely worth the money.
I’ve used NorthStar Moving twice over the past 5 years, and they’ve been fantastic each time. Kevin and his crew of Irvin, Ramon, and Riley are total professionals. Paying extra for the packing service might be the best money I’ve ever spent.
We used NorthStar Moving 3 years ago to move us into our new home. Back then they did an outstanding job. (I left a glowing review here on Yelp.) So now we are replacing carpet and needed our furniture moved so we called on NorthStar to do it again. We weren’t disappointed. It was a different team of guys but they also did an awesome job. Arrived on time, were very careful with our stuff and walls, helped dismantle items, and got it done quickly. The next day, they worked with me on timing their arrival to be after the carpet was installed. They moved everything back in place, helped reassemble dressers, bed frames, and a very heavy armoire. This time our team was Johan, Maximino, and Jose. Nice work guys and thank you for taking such good care of our stuff!
I would recommend this moving company! It was definitely a 10/10. Johan and Jose did a great job moving our furniture out with tremendous care. They accommodate for any changes as well. They have no hidden fees unlike any other company. I would definitely hire them again.

David came out for an in house estimate. He was very courteous, respectful and patient while going through my Mom’s house in order to give us a thorough estimate. David was very professional but personable too. We felt comfortable with him and felt like him and NorthStar were very trustworthy. I liked that they do a flat price estimate and we felt it was very fair. We ended up deleting some items and adding other items to the inventory but the price didn’t change. We received timely communication and confirmations from NorthStar. David called us on moving day to let us know the ETA and they arrived on time. They were careful and efficient in wrapping up the items. With great organizational skills, they managed to load up my Mom’s house along with her many plants and pots in the truck so that we only had to make one trip. Other companies that gave me estimates told me it would take two trips. They were comical at times but always working hard. They were respectful of our time and they never hesitated when my Mom kept adding items to the move! We highly recommend David and NorthStar.

My experience with NorthStar so far has been absolutely amazing. Avner is really good to work with. He knows exactly what he’s doing and has guided me all the way through the the process and alleviated all my fear. After 25 years of living in Los Angeles I packed up a lot of my things to ship to my new home Northern Ireland.
NorthStar picked up all my stuff last Wednesday and were very professional. They packed everything beautifully. They were very polite. I was very happy when I saw the truck drive away and knew that I was in safe hands.

These guys (George, David & Alejandro) are fast, friendly, and worked some magic getting 2 large pieces through an upstairs balcony. We called them “the Magicians!”

NorthStar movers were extremely polite and respectful during their time with me and my family! The 2 drivers arrived at what they thought was going to be a short trip 5×10, but I called for a 10×30 move. I called and spoke with dispatch again to clarify. The drivers were fine with the correction. They worked very hard all day, they also pointed out damages to my furniture from the previous movers ( before moving my item) this allowed me to take photos for a claim I already had in place. I was very pleased with my move!
This was our second time using NorthStar, moving us from a high rise in downtown to an apartment in another part of LA County. Gil and his team did a wonderful job coordinating and communicating throughout the process, and our team of movers was truly amazing. Had a very large move 2 different residential stops and Luis, Santos and Ubaldo were great. They moved an upright piano in addition to many large items including couches and beds/mattresses. Would highly recommend this team. Nice guys and did a great job. Third time using NorthStar and highly recommend.

I just moved from Fremont, CA, this month and Lotem put me in touch with John Honacher who came and did a firm estimate on my belongings. John is so professional, knowledgeable, and helpful to work with during my packing process to the final day of the move. Without John’s help I don’t think I could have gotten to Arizona! I would give John and his moving crew headed by Isael 10 Stars if possible. Israel and his guys were so helpful, efficient, careful, and kind. They made my moving day so much easier than I anticipated. I would use NorthStar Moving in the Bay Area again if I could. My auto correct changed Isael’s name! So sorry Isael!
I hired NorthStar for my move from the San Fernando valley to the South Bay and the service was excellent from start to finish.
