Used these guys for a recent office move. We needed to book this move on short notice and Northstar came through for us! Customer service was beyond helpful, the movers came within the scheduled window, and were really fast and efficient, while also being very careful and competent.
Would definitely recommend these guys for any kind of move, residential or commercial.
I have used Northstar on over 10 moves over 20 years. They always over-deliver. They work their butts off. This time was best ever. Jesse, Anthony, Ruben, Wendell and Lavonne all did an outstanding job.
When the boyfriend and I moved into our apartment 2.5 years ago, we decided it was a temporary stay (due to the fact that we don’t have A/C or heat…), and threw out all our crappy furniture to start anew. Well, not really new…more like I took all my parents stuff from their home and absconded with it.
However, one noticeable difference between the two is that one was a 3.2k sqft home and the other is an 800sqft apartment without vaulted ceilings, or like, space…also I can’t take a sledgehammer to any walls to “open it up” as my mother was wont to do.
After so long we figured it was time to replace the large dining room table that seats EIGHT for something smaller – and giving back to storage a few other things I thought might look nice. Plus a couch I should throw away but I can’t because reasons. Obviously I’m not about to give up family heirloom furniture, made in the 1940’s and brought lovingly back from Japan. Off to storage we go!
And clearly, we wanted the best to handle and Tetris the furniture into this tiny space we rented, so 8 different quotes later I found that Northstar was the best. Best in price, best in terms and stipulations, best to contact, easiest to set up.
They arrived and got everything out in a flash, met me at the unit, and unloaded it literally expertly. I have a picture. It’s beautiful. Northstar probably makes potential job candidates take a crazy hard Tetris exam.

Perfect coordination of services! We definitely appreciate the speedy service with Karan, Ricardo, and Jorge were super friendly and he’d working. Would totally recommend these guys to all my friends. Relatively reasonably priced, AND they have storage too! We moved from San Francisco, they stored our belongings for 2 months and moved it to our new location smoothly!

David and Wilbur were fantastic. I had little to no time to prep before my move, and they flew in and moved my 1 bedroom worth of belongings faster than I could pack one box. They’re swift, professional, and careful. Oh and punctual! Will definitely use North Star again.

Great service! They called us ahead of time to let us know their arrival time on the day of the delivery. They showed up on time and were very efficient. If you are looking for a moving company, we highly recommend them. They moved our appliances, mattress, bookcase and much more from our 3rd floor bedroom apartment with ease.

I’ve used NorthStar Moving for my past 4 moves in the last 15 years and continue to receive great service and I am very happy with them. The office staff is professional and follow through with email confirmations and reminders. The movers are equally as professional and on time.
