Just last week I hired Northstar movers to move me from my old apartment into my new one. I’m very happy with their work and would recommend them to others. Ron came out to assess my home to give me an accurate quote. I had 3 movers and 1 truck at $129 per hour maxing out at 8 hours. Plus packing my kitchen supplies and they provided wardrobe boxes. Jorge, Ruben, and Abraham were my 3 guys and they did an awesome job! I have a lot of stuff and the move ended up exceeding the estimated time frame by almost an hour. I didn’t expect, nor did anyone else expect, that moving my full 1.5 bedroom apartment would take that long. So it was a little surprising that it was about a 9 hour move to a new apartment just a few blocks down the street. But it all got done and it was done well. The 3 guys were great and made sure to stay until everything was finished. Nothing was damaged or broken. They took great care in wrapping everything thoroughly including the breakable kitchenware. Thanks guys!! I’d definitely recommend Northstar to others and urge them to utilize the great yelp deal provided here too!

The movers were also exceptional this time around. They safely hustled our belongings being mindful of time and never once sacrificing any attention to care of our items. David, Daniel, and Chuy were ALL gentle giants handling our very heavy and unique furnishings, and still maintained a patient smile as we gave furniture placement direction.

Best movers we’ve had so far. They were quick to respond, sent someone to give us a free quote, and had reasonable prices for moving and packing. The packers just finished packing most of our house, and were very careful with all of our stuff and pleasant to work with.

My name is Terry, I needed movers who could move me last minute . They promised me 3 guys and I got a complimentary 4th guy. It was great service. All my furniture was wrapped perfectly and they were careful not to hit the walls, in either home and everything was in perfect condition. Each person was professional and very accommodating. Jay, Deaaron, Victor and Cain were great and provided us great service!

I had two days scheduled — one for packing and wrapping, and the other for moving. I had the same crew both days, led by the amazing Jeremy, and they were courteous, grateful, professional, and went above and beyond to help me. I even got a little cranky, as people who move tend to do because we aren’t doing this daily, and they were extremely patient.
Everything arrived safely, all details and charges were explained to me without issue, and I never felt concerned, uncomfortable, or unsafe. I love this company and will definitely use them if I move again, and will recommend to all of my friends.

Northstar Moving was the one vendor in the entire moving process that consistently delivered customer satisfaction. This company is efficient, easy and professional to work with. In the last 11 months alone, I hired Northstar 5 times, twice for my parents, and 3 times for my own household. You can imagine that’s a lot of moving and a lot of stress.
