Northstar helped my wife and I move last month. They were fairly priced and communicative throughout the process. I believe the “lead” for day was Israel, he and the other two guys did a great job. They called with their ETA which landed right in the middle of their 8-10a window. They worked quickly and were very careful with all our belongings. They took direction well and even worked with us as we decided what to put where in the new house. I also appreciated that one of the agents who helped coordinate the move called during the move to ask how things were going, the guys were doing great but this was very professional and courteous. I do not plan on moving again soon, but when I do need movers again I’ll call NorthStar.

I recently moved from Southern California to Hawaii and used NorthStar moving company. They have an excellent customer service, are wonderful from the start to the end. They follow up with you and make sure everything is going well as promised. You can also reach them with any questions you have. Great, friendly, and kind crews: both @pick-up and delivery. What you pay is worth it. I highly recommend them.

Santos, Ubaldo, and Albert helped me with my move and they were so efficient and helpful. They even were accommodating to make an additional stop at a storage facility to pick up additional things. They were careful with my furniture and reassembled things quickly even without a manual. They were professional and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone requiring assistance moving.
We were doing a local move. I needed someone the same day because the company we hired canceled at the last minute. Northstar were absolute lifesaver’s, extremely professional on time and the workers they sent were truly exceptional. They never sat down. They never complained. We were concerned what the cost of moving was going to be considering it was a last minute job, literally the same day! These guys are INCREDIBLE. They moved me out and into my new apt in 4 hrs flat. One bedroom with a ton of stuff. They helped me pack, move, and unpack. They even took my bed apart and built it in my new place. Their administrative staff were all wonderful and had answers to all my questions. Amazing follow up, and amazing follow through. I couldn’t recommend these guys more.

Eliezar was a really great mover at our finishing place and had amazing mover in our starting location. The people are very careful in their entire process. Everything came in great condition. We had one minor box that may have been misplaced, but the customer service after the fact was very careful and helped us through entire process. We always got immediate responses and care from North Star!
I moved from California to Germany several months ago and wanted to reassure those of you with big moves still ahead that you can worry a little less if you choose NorthStar. I trusted this company to move everything I own across a continent and an ocean, and I’m somehow still amazed that it all arrived, safe and sound, nothing lost, nothing broken, and with no unpleasant surprises. Avner Yonai and his colleague Eileen Clark were responsible for this international move, and Avner answered every question I had, following up personally when necessary. These are friendly, approachable, professional folks who seem to love what they do and couldn’t possibly take it more seriously. Now that I am settled in, I wanted to thank them again and send a shout-out to anyone worried about whether their move will go well 🙂
Some tips:
Take the video chat estimate very seriously. Let them know exactly what you’ll be shipping.
Stay involved in the entire process. It’s pretty interesting anyway, and you’ll know what’s going on at all times.
Be careful unpacking! Everything is so carefully wrapped that it seems the most damage can be done trying to get things out.
Tip the movers. They work very hard for hours, and they don’t seem interested in snacks and beverages. I wish I’d asked ahead of time what their favorite snacks were.

I’ve now used Northstar a second time and, once again, I cannot recommend this company highly enough! The first move I had them do the packing… this was well worth the cost (not as much as you would think) because they did an amazing job and made the move so much easier.
Actually, everything about both moves was so easy! Ron, who set everything up, is as nice and honest a man as I’ve worked with in a long time. I had scheduling issues the first move (my house was being rebuilt and kept having delays) and he was so nice and patient and understanding every time I had to change the date.
The second move was smaller, an office space to a new office space. On both moves the crews were strong, solid, fast, and very careful. Also they were so nice to be around! I had a very good time with both crews. The first move was brutal… both houses (rental to my own house) had 40 steps in the front… both! but no one complained, they smiled and got the job done.
Moving is simply stressful. There’s no way around it. But Northstar makes a move as easy as can be. And they are reasonable as well!
Awesome movers, super quick and efficient. Really hard working and excellent communicators! I highly recommend using NorthStar, I’m beyond pleased with my experience! Their rates are competitive, and for the money, that are much better than most other companies I’ve gone with! Highly recommend over moving yourself, save yourself the back pain!
Israel and his guys were amazing! We were moving out of our office on the second floor and had 3 stops. These worked hard, moving everything quickly. Not one thing was broken!

I had another great move with Northstar. Gil is my Goto for planning and it’s always spot on and seamless. The moving team this time was Kevin R, Jesus, Enrique P – they were courteous, careful and fast. No stress and best move by far!!
We chose NorthStar for our move because of the pricing. In comparison with other companies, it was much more competitive! Once they got to our apartment, they took such good care of all of our items. We had three movers: Johan, David, and Cesar. They were so nice and efficient. They wrapped everything up and carefully, yet quickly, loaded up the truck. Once they got to our house, they were so meticulous and made sure every piece of furniture or box was placed in the proper place. Our daughter was napping in one of the rooms so I asked them to avoid that room and be quiet when they were around it. She slept through the whole thing!
Since you pay for each hour, I was nervous that they would move slowly to tack on extra time, but they were so quick. We don’t plan on moving again soon, but when we do, we’ll use NorthStar again. I’ve also recommended them to all of our family and friends.
All I can say is AWESOME!! I had to cancel a reservation with another company because they screwed up and couldn’t supply a truck. I called these guys and they were able to schedule me for the following Monday! We had a video conference and I showed them the items to be moved including my family’s 80 year old piano.
They showed up on time, were very careful with the piano and delivered it to my home in Oregon in a week!
