I had to move a 2 bedroom appt to a house that is located 2.7 miles away.
When I called to book the service Gloria explained me that there is a 3 hours minimum and all the other info about pricing. I been told that the driver will contact me before he arrives. Jessie called to let me know that they will be at my place in 30 minutes.
An hour later Jessie, Artem and Travis moved all my plastic begs into boxes (that they supplied) and pretty much finished to load the truck.
We drove to the house and they made sure that everything going to the right room.
And also helped with moving stuff that I already had in the house to the second floor. If I wasn’t slow them down I believe they they could finish it in 2 hours.
These guys are highly recommended! Very fast workers, also everything that Gloria mentioned on the phone was on point. No hidden fees and no B.S

The move itself was fast, the movers – Luis R and his crew – efficient and pleasant, and they even helped me hoist my unwieldy couch over a balcony, something unanticipated that they handled with professionalism and aplomb. The reservation process was equally simple. Beatrice was polite and answered all of my questions.

Northstar Moving Company was recommended to me by a close friend and we noticed they had perfect rating on Yelp, too. We moved today from the South Bay to Mid-city and couldn’t be happier with the movers. They were incredibly quick and efficient and handled all of our furniture and boxes with great care. They set up all of our furniture at the new house super quickly! They were also great about asking questions regarding where things went instead of just throwing boxes in random rooms. The movers were Luis R, Anthony H, Martin and Art and they couldn’t have been better! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and we are so happy with the great job they did!

I hired NorthStar based on their mostly positive Yelp reviews, and they did a great job overall and deserved a 5/5 rating after moving my 2+ bedroom house within the Bay Area. They carefully loaded and unloaded the truck, efficiently used the time and overall were very professional. I must say that I was a little skeptical about what they could do when they showed up because the team looked very young, but they proved me wrong.

Scheduling an appointment was super easy and quick. They worked with me on scheduling, and was even responsive after the appointment was made (I needed some forms filled out and Gloria returned it the same day).

Arturo and Wilbur were on time, professional and careful with my belongings. My move couldn’t have gone better and it was on one of the hottest days of the year, but not a word of complaint from either one of them.

Carlos and his team came today to help us move from 2 locations in Fremont to Dublin. They were excellent — friendly, helpful, careful, and more. We were wondering how a company could maintain its 5-star rating with over 700 reviews and now we know. Their rate is very good considering the guys’ service and hard work, and especially with the Yelp deal of $90 off. To say that we highly recommend this moving company would be an understatement!
We used NorthStar for a local move. I was very impressed all around. Before hiring them, I thought I was going to pack up our stuff because I couldn’t imagine trusting strangers to do it. But after the exhaustion of actually packing a few boxes set in and I watched some of NorthStar’s YouTube videos on their process, I decided to give them a try. And they did not disappoint. All of our stuff – even the cheap stuff – was carefully wrapped and securely packed. They were quick and responsive to all of my requests. And I’m truly amazed at how strong they are…they were lifting heavy pieces of solid wood furniture like it was nothing! I am so glad we hired NorthStar!
