Northstar team has been super easy to deal with along the whole process. When I contacted them through Yelp, Stephanie immediately gave me a call and asked me about the situation. When I explained to her that I need to move only a few pieces（ mattress, desk, cabinet, leather chair and a few small items) and my new address is right across the street!(less than 2 mins away) , she went further to speak to her supervisor to give me a fixed rate for move. Since July is moving season, I went back and forth with her on the appointment times and she’s been super flexible with the changes. She gave me a 3 hour time span from 11am-3pm; and when I told that I prefer the earlier end of the time span, she put in a note for me.
When the moving team came on the July 3, they honored the quote to come earlier and moved everything in a fast and secure way. They carried their own supplies from boxes to wrapping tapes, and nicely covered all my items. We got everything ready to go within an hour of time!
A lot of companies focus mostly on speed of the move, but Northstar has been great to work with in terms of their professionalism and diligence in creating the easiest move for their client.

Very happy choosing NorthStar for my move. Kenneth, Tavon, and Louis were fun to be around while working as fast, smart, and efficiently as possible. We moved from Venice beach so parking was such a hassle and also traffic coming in and out of there was horrible. But the guys did such a smooth transition from A to B. Would highly recommend these guys again.
Just completed our move that took a total of 5.5hrs. These guys are very professional. Started the move on time. Did not take any break. Wrapped everything with great care. Our destination has a lot of stairs and it was quite some work getting all the furniture in the right rooms. They didn’t complain at all and got everything finished up on time. We would highly recommend them and definitely hire them again

Exceptional moving experience from our 2-bedroom apartment in Playa Vista to our 2-BR in Glendale. Arthur Emanuel and Alonzo went above and beyond to accommodate our furniture, boxes, and miscellaneous items – not to mention fought the mid-afternoon traffic! They were exceptional at getting everything packed up and delivered safely & efficiently. They even helped disassemble a closet door. Above & beyond to say the least. I have moved 5 times in 5 years of living in Southern California – this was by FAR the easiest & most accommodating move. Thank you to Arthur, Emanuel & Alonzo for making this move stress free and so so accommodating – we wouldn’t have gotten through it without each of you. You guys are the best!
These guys are amazing. They got our entire place moved so much faster than I expected. Not to mention it was 95 degrees and probably the worst day of the year to move. They were incredibly friendly, very efficient, and I absolutely would recommend them to anyone. We’ll be using them again next time. 10/10
If you are looking for movers who are professional, efficient, and problem-solvers, go with NorthStar Moving Company! Despite the fact that we ran into some unexpected building issues (ie, broken elevator), the team worked with us to make our move as smooth as possible. They showed up on time and were incredibly quick (but still careful) in their loading and unloading of our items. They wrapped all furniture to prevent scuffing and did a great job with disassembling and reassembling the bed frame. Overall, the most professional movers I’ve ever worked with. I’ll be using them again next time!
NorthStar Moving Company created one of the best moving experiences I’ve ever had. They were professional, flexible, efficient, and good-humored–essential qualities during the stress of moving day! The team even helped me pack a considerable amount of fragile kitchen items (all of which made it to my new home in excellent condition). Had a great experience with the Northstar company today!! We had an emergency move this week and it Gabi was able to help us out quickly and get us a crew two days later. She was thorough and made sure that we were set up for success.

I was still on a work call and the team graciously allowed me to finish my call. They kept the furniture moving with little guidance and everything went smoothly without a hitch. I needed to re-organize a few pieces after seeing it placed and they were great sports in allowing me to design with them there. I’d definitely hire them again if I need movers! Recommend for anyone who wants seamless service for a stressful time 🙂

I was very pleased with this moving company. They were friendly and on time, very fast and efficient movers and great rate. One guy of the three wasn’t able to come and the foreman gave me a fiat discount. The movers were all very polite and nice.
They were careful with our items not to damage anything. Excellent insurance policy as well. They are full service, so can do everything from packing to installing furniture or as much as you wish. They were very fast with installing our furniture all in less than 60min.
