Local Move
This was by far my best moving experience ever. It was my first time getting a not-to-exceed price. The quoted price was less than we expected, and we thought we were being clever – our move was scheduled for the first week in August and we thought any crew would be dragging their feet because of the heat. Well, guess what? The actual total came out to several hundred dollars less than the estimate. The crew showed up on time, they were careful with our stuff and the paint, and they actually put the boxes in the right rooms based on the labels. We are very happy. Thank you!
Edgar and crew helped us move this weekend and they were great through the whole process. Pricing was comparable or a bit lower vs some others we talked to but they provided more people to help out. Pretty thorough throughout – laying down plastic sheets in the new house to keep the carpet clean and such.
Moving can be extremely stressful, but not with Logan and his crew ( Eddie and Ron)! First thing Logan told me to do was rest and rage it easy since they had this covered. What a great way to reduce the stress. I started cleaning, while they were moving and then as I watched them pack up I thought, ” I should take his advice”, Bc my hard work starts after they leave. The crew was extremely thoughtful of my furniture and personal items. They were professional, polite and a pleasure to be around. These guys work so hard and deserve the positive recognition. Now only if I could convince them to stay and unpack. 🙂 thank you crew!

They showed up within their projected timeframe AND gave me a call to let me know they were going to arrive at 9:15 prior to arriving RIGHT on time.
The entire team was absolutely diligent, trustworthy, so polite and sweet. Most importantly, they were impeccable movers. Not a single thing broken or scratched or scuffed. I’m thoroughly impressed!
I have an enormous sofa that has historically been impossible to get through doors and has caused other moving teams (I’ve moved 3 times over the past 3 years) to get aggravated- not this team. They kept their cool and effectively problem-solved.

This is the third time I’ve used these guys and I keep going back to them because they always provide great service. I moved from a house to apartment this time, and the experience has been consistent.
These guys are quick, efficient and I’ve never had any issues with damaged property. I chose to pack most of my stuff, but they took the additional measures to make sure items were securely taped or furniture covered with protective sheets to ensure nothing got scratched or damaged.
The guys themselves are also super courteous (I was reminded several times that I wouldn’t be charged for any idle time).
Rates are really reasonable, too.

I had spent much time looking for reliable movers. I had a few recommendations but they received F by business bureau. I then was recommended to NorthStar. Glad I was. My move was made in 2 phases and NorthStar handled perfectly. They did a great job in estimating and moving my fragile goods. NorthStar is the only company I would use to move. Everyone is so nice and professional. If you are having a hard time finding movers look no further.
Great experience from beginning to end. Customer service team asked all the right questions, recommended Gil come over to estimate the job. Gil was on time, thorough and spot on with his estimate. On the day of the move the team called to let me know what time they would arrive. The six man team lead by Ramiro were hard working, courteous and positive the entire time. They took two ten minute breaks in a pretty difficult move and informed us both times. Nothing was broken, no dirt or materials left behind. Thank you Gil, Ramiro and team.
Logan, Ronald, and Nick went above and beyond to help make my move as easy as possible. They were efficient, friendly, and took care of all my things. Wouldve taken me 2 days to fully move everything but they made it easy. Money well spent, would use Northstar again
