These guys were phenomenal. I’ve had bad movers before – they took their time, longer than expected, some boxes were crushed because they weren’t stacked properly.
North Star was the exact opposite – they took about half the time I expected the job to take. Everything was wrapped incredibly well and packed into the truck well.
Can’t say enough good things about them. Highly recommended.
Local Move
NorthStar Movers are the best! They moved our 3 bedroom home from Glassell Park to La Crescenta in less time than anticipated. The team was super efficient and respectful of our belongings. They were punctual and friendly and completely reliable. We would especially recommend Ramiro G., Andy Ch, William C. and Christian R. Thank you guys so much!!!
Moved locally with North Star. Fantastic service. Jorge, Eaariss, and Bobby were efficient, careful, and friendly. Would definitely use them again and recommend to a friend.
We recently did a big move that required lots of packing — The lead mover, Andy was easy to communicate with, hustled to get the job done and went above and beyond to meet our needs. When we had a small issue with the move he remedied it quickly.
Thank you Yelp yet again!
A few days before our move we decided on movers. Since we never used movers in Los Angeles we turned to trusty Yelp to find a moving company.
After some research and phone calls for quotes we decided on NorthStar Movers. With a 4.5 star rating based on 600 some reviews, we knew this company would be a great option. We read through both the good (which is the majority) and bad rated reviews. Not all moves go smoothly, but I can say we just finished our move and it couldn’t have gone any better.
Two movers arrived within the appointed time frame. When you schedule your appointment the dispatcher will provide you with a time frame when the movers will arrive. They also gave us a call right before letting us know they were on their way.
The movers who arrived were extremely professional and efficient. Majority of our stuff was already packed so once we let them know what needed to go they worked like a well oiled machine. We had some random items out (since we didn’t know what to do with them) and they even offered to help us pack them up.
The movers also came very prepared. They arrived in a 26 foot long truck filled with equipment that made the move more efficient. They had plenty of tape, shrink wrap, and boxes. The movers offered advice as well as I packed up last minute things.
The drive from our old place to our new place was also done in a timely manner. The unloading was just as easy as the loading. I had a desk in my car and they were able to transport that as well. None of our items were damaged in transport.
We couldn’t have done this move without NorthStar. When you have employees who are efficient and pleasant to work with, I can’t see you going wrong with this moving company. Highly recommended!

Arthur and his crew were so great. Their work efficiency was more than I expected. More over they were very kind and helpful. No complaint but they have nice smile all the time. I definitely recommend them.
I cannot say it enough – NorthStar Moving is simply the best moving company ever. I must have been extra good in a past life cuz who shows up this morning? Edgar and crew!!! They were the same guys as last time – I knew it was a good sign.
They were on time and super efficient. They were calm, collected, and on top of it – they were the blue pill to my anxiety.
I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I’m using NorthStar.
NorthStar Moving Company delivers every time.

I used these guys to move on Sunday October 21st and they were great. They arrived 10 mins early and were polite, efficient and respectful. The whole job was done faster than expected and I appreciated that at the end, they double checked if we wanted any boxes or pieces of furniture moved to different rooms. Shout out to Jorge J, Jorge L and Juan R – good guys.
These guys were the best! It was the best moving experience we’ve ever had. Manny and his team were completely polite, respectful both to us and our home belongings, and really took care to ensure everything was moved well without bumps and scratches. They wrapped up larger items incredibly well and overall just did a great job. The moving costs were reasonable and there were no surprise fees and everything summed up to just what we anticipated. Couldn’t ask for more from movers. Great moving team! Thanks again, Manny!
The NorthStar moving company was super easy to set up and very responsive. My old roommate recommend them to me. The movers came at the time they said they would and were very respectful. They packed up my table carefully and wrapped everything up securely. There were complimentary wardrobe boxes that came in handy for moving my clothes. I had most everything in Rubbermaid containers but I had some odd and ends they threw into a big box. They were fast and efficient moving me out too. It took about 2.5 hours total for a large 1B from Hollywood to Burbank. This was their minimum charge so it all worked out
