David F, Wilber, Esaias were my movers today and were so great! Not only were they on on-time but they were so nice and helpful.
Decided last minute that we were going to ditch the self move option and call professionals. We ended up with Northstar and they were great! We found a coupon here on yelp which saved us $75!
Office staff were quick with quotes and information. They disclosed all of the potential fees which was nice because we were able to get some extra bubble wrap and tape before they arrived.
Day of was even easier than expected. They called an hour beforehand to let us know they were on their way and an ETA. Arrived right at the beginning of the estimated window which got things off to a great start. Very quickly got all of our boxes out and then blanketed and wrapped all of our furniture.
Same thing at the new apartment, got it unloaded and in the house quickly. Lonail, Lloyd, and Bryan did an amazing job and truly couldn’t be happier with our decision!!
A very small crack in one of our dressers but with the included insurance we were told that making a claim will be simple. I’ve moved more times in my life than I care to admit and know that if the only thing that went wrong in a move is a small crack…then you’re winning at life!

Despite having moved way too many times, I really hate moving. I called NorthStar on the recommendation of another company – that doesn’t do packing – and I was not disappointed. Haitham, Augustin and Carlos arrived on time, did a great job (and trust me, I know about packing) and were friendly and patient despite rain and several flights of stairs. Everything arrived safe and sound – nothing broken. I would definitely use NorthStar again, though am hoping I don’t have another move in my future. And oh, take advantage of the Yelp offer!
Updated this review. I used North Star to move me into a new apartment. The crew was very efficient and friendly and I was happy that they used 3 movers. One of the crew members was having a bit of difficulty disassembling my large furniture and their customer service team made sure to help. I will definitely use them for future moves
These guys are the best quick courteous and took care of all of our things like they belonged to them. Best moving experience we have ever had. We all know moving can be rough but these guys make it easy and they get the job done. Our crew was Bobby Raymond and Alex and they were awesome. I hired NorthStar Movers for a 1 bedroom apartment move from Sherman Oaks to Burbank on a Thursday morning. Lonail, Lloyd, and Chris showed up on time and had the truck fully packed in about two hours. These guys were friendly, efficient, and worked very well together. The drive and unload time took another two hours. They dropped off and reassembled all my furniture and belongings in their respective rooms. There were a few dings to the legs on our couch but nothing too serious. I would highly recommend NorthStar Movers.
