I was very happy with my move with Northstar Moving Corporation.  The movers were great, very friendly and professional.  They took good care of all my things and set up everything at my new place.  I would recommend them to anyone.  I’ve always had problems before with movers not showing up at correct time.  Northstar was right on time.

I’ve never used a moving company before, always stuck to a U-Haul, but the last time I moved, I scratched my grandmother’s furniture, so when I was moving from the SFV to Camarillo, I decided to use movers. I looked on Yelp, as I always do, and decided to try NorthStar Moving. Great from the get go. Customer Service was very kind, and straightforward when it came to pricing. I got a deal because I chose a Sunday rather than a Saturday, and I mentioned Yelp. (Woo hoo! 5% off!)
They called me the Friday before, to confirm. I had a two hour window that they would arrive, between 8 and 10 am, and they showed up promptly at 8:15. (Not even the cable guys can do that!)
3 guys, all very nice, and FAST. Did not take a break, and all in all the move was less than 3 hours. That included moving my HEAVY furniture from the 2nd floor apartment to the truck, drive time (1/2 hour) and unloading at the new place. I highly recommend NorthStar. VERY VERY professional.

You never know with moving companies and I used them twice in the same month for two different moves.  The guys were polite and so careful.   On the second move, the driver found a short cut to save drive time.  I was impressed with that.  They handled everything with care.  They showed up early.  The office people are so cool.

Have used Northstar 4 times now and have never been disappointed. I’ve used other movers who have been awful, but Northstar is always prompt, professional, quick, accommodating, and careful with my belongings. I will definitely continue to use them.
