I’ll begin by saying Northstar Moving Company is the BEST, from A to Z! Our move was from Oakland to Santa Clara, CA on July 20, in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic and went without the slightest glitch! 

Due to the nature of our work we move around quite a bit, 37 moves and counting to date!) and know good and meticulous movers and office staff when we see and speak with them. NSM are top notch from the first call you make,  and while the level of difficulty during these Covid times complicates matters a bit, the exceptional office staff goes above and beyond to facilitate matters with online, phone and virtual assistance! The crew was extremely cautious practicing social distancing and wearing masks. The wonderful reviews are certainly justified, to say the least! 

Everything during our movie was seamless. The movers were punctual, courteous, pleasant, methodic, expeditious, TIDY, excellent listeners and hard working beyond belief! They worked like clockwork! A HUGE shout out and tons of gratitude to our fabulous crew, Carlito, Jessi, David, Noe who had to deal with a few wild “apartment community” regulations from our move out location, and yet, handled everything with the utmost professionalism. Hopefully, I wont need to move anytime soon, but, if and when I do, NSM will DEFINITELY be my choice. It doesn’t get any better! Our items and furniture were perfectly packed and protected and arrived at our new home in perfect condition in a timely fashion. The crew was courteous enough to also help with disassembly and assembly of certain items! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Second time I used them. Not cheap but they are honest and good people. No surprises.

We had an excellent moving experience with Carlos, Ignacio and Leo at Northstar. Everything about our short distance move went as well we could have hoped for – the team moved very fast taking a lot of heavy furniture up and down stairs, took great care to ensure both our belongings and home were not damaged, and even used tape to take dust off the bottom of our furniture to make sure our new home started off on the right foot. They were able to disassemble all of our furniture and appliances (e.g. Peloton, multi-piece bed frame) properly and quickly. Additionally, all three team members were very friendly and kind.

The rates were competitive compared to other quotes that we received, and the company continues to operate through the pandemic with all three movers wearing a mask for the duration of our move. Would highly recommend Northstar (and particularly Carlos, Ignacio and Leo) and would definitely work with them again for our next move.

I had less than 2 weeks to find movers and luckily came across Northstar. My move was this past weekend and I was lucky enough to have Kyle and his team help me out. They were so super nice and ready to work. It was HOT here in Phoenix but the team was efficient at getting the job done. I’ve never had a move where no scratches or damage was done… until now. They took great care of my things which I greatly appreciate. There was a small hiccup with my bed and the manager himself came out the very next day to adjust my bed. Because they did so well my mom will be using them once her house is done being built and they’ll be my exclusive moving company going forward. THANK YOU Kyle, David, and the rest of the team. You made a stressful process a lot easier.

Northstar Moving Company in Chatsworth, through Ron Cohen, moved my family between apartments in Marina del Rey. To prepare, Ron did a video chat review of our furnishings to come up with an honest budget. Yesterday, Ron’s crew, Alessio, Jimmi C., Jorge and Erik, masterfully packed and moved our furniture, belongings, potted plants, closets, beds, chairs, etc. Although the apartments were nearby each other, they padded and packed and moved everything we designated with Ron in advance. His crew even figured out how to carry a table up through the stairwell to the 6th floor because it didn’t fit in the building elevators. On time and on budget and all with a smile. If you need a moving company, you can do no better than Northstar!

Very strong recommendation: they were professional, prompt, easy to work with, reliable. This was my best moving experience.

I’ve been meaning to write this review all week and finally got round to it today. We had a wonderful experience with NORSTAR MOVERS and they made our move such a breeze. I really appreciate that they were super responsive when we messaged them on Yelp and it meant one less thing to be stressed about in preparation for our move. We were also worried about having movers during covid but all five of our movers were wearing masks when they arrived which was a huge relief. I want to give a huge shout out to Juan, rick,noe,Jesse and jose. You five were absolute superstars. Big thank you

We were very happy with Northstar Moving Compay. I called for an estimate and David came over, went through our house noting every piece of furniture, and gave me an estimate. He was very polite and knowledgeable. We accepted.

4 movers showed up as planned the day of our move. They were very professional and all wore masks. Kyle confirmed the few things we were leaving and they got to work right away. They wrapped up the furniture that needed to be protected and nothing was broken. We have a lot of glass and I was very concerned but they were very careful. These guys worked extremely hard in the Phoenix sun. They did a great job and we highly recommend them!

3rd time I’ve used Northstar Moving company and they are always speedy, professional and careful with my furniture. This is why I’ve used them for my last 3 moves! This is second time Carlito’s team has moved me and they are awesome – request them!

The team was very helpful from the beginning. Setting up my move was simple, I got a call with a quote in less than 24 hours, then they worked with me to finalize all the details. On the day of the move, the crew showed up within the allocated window and called an hour before their arrival to give me a heads up. Teddy and his team packed up all my loose belongings and wrapped all my furniture with care and loaded it onto the truck very quickly. At the destination address, they immediately got to work unloading. They unpacked everything and cleaned up all the packing materials. This has been the easiest move I have had so far and I will definitely be keeping North Star Movers in mind for my next one.
