Local Move
I hired NorthStar based on a positive experience with my last move and they did not disappoint. Teddy’s an awesome crew chief, undaunted by lots of stairs and heavy furniture. When our 8.5 foot sofa wouldn’t fit through the odd angles in our entry hall, he came up with a solution: hoist it up the outside of the building and bring it in through the balcony. Highly recommend!
We decided to move from Tucson Arizona to Thousands Oaks California and learned about North Star moving from better business bureau with an A+ rating. They came in the window they confirmed with us and did a great job of doing Tetris with the boxes of our things. They moved our antiques with great care and placed them nicely. I moved from a one story home to a two story and they did all the heavy lifting which was great. Everyone was safe with the Covid precautions and very helpful. They unloaded in record time which was great.

Best moving experience I’ve ever had. Teddy and his team arrived right on time so immediately things started on the right foot. Teddy quickly went over the paper work with me and explained everything professionally and clearly while his team got right to work. They packed up the truck faster than I thought possible. They even disassembled and re assembled the furniture at the new place and arranged it however we asked. The whole thing only took 3 hours! I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.
We needed to move our daughter out of her apartment in San Francisco. After having called and left messages for several moving and storage companies in the area, we spoke with Brenda from Northstar. Brenda happily provided us with all the information we needed to make our move out go as smoothly as possible. Several weeks after making our booking, we needed to change our move out date which was no problem at all.
Three days before our move, we received a call from Northstar confirming our scheduled appointment. On the morning of the move we received a call from the movers saying they were on their way. Isael and his crew arrived right on schedule. They were very polite, respectful and got to work immediately upon their arrival. Isael and crew took good care of our furniture and all other belongings. They worked very efficiently and completed the job within two hours.
