Long Distance Move
NorthStar Moving was extremely helpful. We had items in their storage in Southern California and wanted only a portion of the items shipped to our home in Phoenix. The team in California was very helpful and patient with us as we went through all of our pieces of furniture. Once shipped (almost immediately!), the delivery arrived in Phoenix earlier than expected, expertly packed and very well taken care of. The team was quick to unload and set up and were a pleasure to work work. I’d certainly use them again and would strongly recommend them for both storage and moving!

Jeremy, Eduardo, and Ruben were all extremely professional, courteous, and skilled at packing and moving my belongings. They showed up right at the start of my delivery window, and started immediately like seasoned pros. They handled all of my boxes and furniture with the utmost care, and were done in an hour and a half. Thanks guys!
Today I had the pleasure of meeting Calvin H, Antonio & Ricardo. They were all so amazing and went above what I expected from them. This was my first time ever dealing with a moving company and will definitely recommend them to anyone. They were all so nice and helped pack everything that still needed to be secure. I would specially like to thank Calvin since he was so open about any questions I had, his work ethic was amazing and is a hard worker that makes sure to go through everything with you. He called about 45 minutes before they arrived to give me a more specific time frame. Overall I would give them 10 stars if I could. Highly recommended! If the delivery is as smoothly as the pick up I would be so pleased, I will review again once my delivery is made.
I just met with Michael Pomeroy from Northstar. He came to our home to provide and estimate. Unfortunately, our dates didn’t align with their availability. However, Michael too the time to answer questions, gave us advice on moving insurance, helped us to evaluate other estimates, etc. I really appreciate the customer friendly approach and willingness to help us out.
So far Great Company..Ana Coy has really great customer service, so I totally recommend her if you are moving. So far great company and looking forward to the move from LA to New York!!
I used Northstar in April for a move from San Jose to Texas and was a bit worried because most of their great reviews were for local or in-California moves, and they weren’t able to send someone to my house to provide an estimate until 6 days before the move date. But, I went with them because they gave me a great price quote, and they were fantastic! Angelo led my move team and he was so courteous, friendly, and helpful, it was clear that keeping the customer happy was his #1 priority. Cesar was my driver, kept me updated throughout the drive to Texas, and worked really hard as part of the smaller 2-man moving team that unpacked the truck in Texas. I was very impressed!
Great job all around. These guys killed it on our move from Chicago to LA, both in price and execution. It was a stressful time, but Northstar did everything they could to make it as painless as possible. Would recommend them every time.
I recently moved from LA to New York. I was definitely stressed out about finding a mover, as it seemed that many had some good reviews and some bad reviews. I will caveat that I didn’t have a ton of stuff and I was transporting anything too expensive. I went with NorthStar Moving and it ended up being a great choice! The cost was very reasonable and they charged me exactly what was agreed upon from the beginning. Gil, my relocation specialist, was very responsive, answered all my questions and followed up on all my requests. He was great! I also dealt with others in the company who were very helpful and responsive as well. The drivers were efficient and my belongings appear in good condition. All in all it was a good experience.
