I had a move from Altadena to Alhambra and it went smoothly. Eliezar Z. and Milton were both great at moving all of our stuff! Me and my girlfriend had already moved our valuables and fragile things separately, and put everything else in boxes. Eliezar and Milton were experts at knowing how to break down the bed and mattress and keep them safe and clean. They also handled the couch very well! Especially considering how we lived on the second floor and only had stairs, no elevator. We were very grateful with their help, and they even offered to move one of our bigger potted plants with no issue. We were worried the plant would be damaged in the back, but they assured us they knew how to properly secure it and told us that all of the items in the back were strapped down securely. Sure enough it arrived safe and sound! They charge a minimum of 4 hours (3hrs minimum plus double time on the drive) and overall came to about the same price as other competitors, but I genuinely appreciated their customer service! Valery called us back whenever she missed our call and helped us with the process. Very glad we went with Northstar Moving.

Pedro, Victor, and Benjamin were so thoughtful, kind, and efficient with my move! i had two pickup locations (one being a sublet where not everything was meant to go in the truck to add to the complications!) and they handled it all with grace and lots of check-ins! they were gentle with everything and very creatively managed to move large pieces through small passageways. highly recommend!
This is probably my sixth move with NorthStar over the past 8 years. They have been great communicators. Good listeners. Good problem solvers. Fair and transparent about pricing. And 100% reliable and careful. I feel lucky to have them on my list of resources. If you use them you will be in great hands.

The process of moving was made very simple when I selected NorthStar Moving. I contacted Lotem for a quote which was quickly given over the phone, followed by a written quote via email. Eliezar, Jose, Jose, and Andrew arrived on time and quickly wrapped and loaded all the items carefully.
Eliezar and Feliciano arrived on time at the destination 430 miles away, unloaded and unwrapped everything and placed all the large items where I needed them. I can’t say enough good things about this company.
Dispatch was helpful and precise. they took me as a last minute booking and when the guys showed up they were super nice, efficient, and fast! They listened to what I wanted and got what I needed done.

Manny and his team; Willy and Santos, did a wonderful job. They came into my place this morning and packed it right up within two hours then took it all over to my new place and unpacked it along with my stuff from storage. They built my couch, coffee table, desk, bed frame and more! It was stress free on a day that I thought would be super stressful. I felt so supported by these three men today and I am so grateful for their help. Thank you again Manny, Willy and Santos.
Georges crew was amazing!!! We had a smooth experience and everyone was polite and helpful! They moved everything and helped pack up a bunch of stuff we didn’t have time to. Can’t recommend enough!

Our recent long distance move with NorthStar was smooth and efficient. Every step was explained when I contacted the company re our move. The staff were friendly, responsive (I had lots of questions), patient and very professional. On packing/pick up day, the crew showed up when promised and our belongings were handled with care. Delivery at the destination was also handled efficiently and the crew was extra careful in unloading and placement of furniture.
