We hired Northstar to move my elderly parents and they could not have been better! Our initial meeting for the free “not to exceed” estimate was great, and we loved knowing what our maximum cost would be. Then the day of the move, the 3 movers arrived a few minutes EARLY, they were all friendly, careful with everything, and very efficient. They actually wound up finishing way ahead of the estimated timeframe, not a thing was broken or misplaced, and all went smoothly! They really made the move simple and effortless for my parents!! My experience with NorthStar has been great! I was running late and didn’t have time to pack several of my belongings. When the crew of 3 movers came, they were not only prompt, but helped me pack everything and got it all out within an hour! What really amazed me was they not only helped disassemble my futon and desks, but reassembled everything back up in my new place! Everything was placed in relatively the same set up I had at my old apartment. They were very courteous and professional. Great team!

Factor, Jonathan and Guido did an incredible job moving us from our 2 bedroom apt into our new house. They were able to get everything moved carefully and efficiently in under 4 hours. Everything was done impeccably. Thanks fellas.
Phenomenal service! Very professional, friendly, and quick. Our move to Colorado took only 4 days even though we had a much longer window. The crew on both ends were great- real pros and good guys. All of our stuff was well-protected. The price was less than I expected. I’m so glad we chose to go with Northstar over driving a rental truck ourselves. And Alma at their HQ was very friendly and on top of everything. I can’t recommend them enough and we will definitely contact them again the next time we move (though hopefully no time soon).

I moved a truckload of valuable and enormous wooden furniture from Santa Monica to Oakland, and these guys were fantastic! Gerardo A., Oscar I., and Gustavo R not only moved it all in without a scratch, but were all nice, friendly and polite to boot. I had some heavy boxes and chairs in the way of where the furniture was to be placed, and whoosh! They just moved it all for me and placed everything right where I wanted it to the inch. Use these guys. you’ll be glad you did!
