Just moved again and used NorthStar a second time, 3.5 years after the first. I think the service was even more impressive this time. In 3.5 years, I added a lot of stuff to an already huge amount, and was certain my 3 bedroom 2 bath move was going to kill me financially. NorthStar’s estimate was about 2/3 of what I figured I’d have to pay. On top of that, the four man crew I had – Oscar, Steve, Jose, and Edel – did the job so efficiently that the total came in at over 15% under the estimate, and they went above and beyond – they made sure everything was where it needed to be in the new house, and even helped me move appliances (including a dryer upstairs!) out of the new place. Super courteous, super quick, absolutely the best. Can’t recommend them enough. Moving is always stressful, but way less so with these guys doing the job.

This was our second time using NorthStar Moving Co., and we were not disappointed again. We had Steve, Steve, and Aaron. All were very professional and efficient. No time wasted, and all items were taken care of. These guys are pros.

Fantastic movers! I bought the Yelp coupon at the recommendation of the representative who booked my move. It was a very good deal- $50 for $100. Our movers packed up an antique mirror, a 60″ flat screen, clothing (in complimentary boxes), and moved heavy antique furniture (including a piano.) they were friendly, on time, polite and courteous, helpful, and cautious of my things, and speedy! I will ALWAYS move with NorthStar after our experience.

Moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a new house this weekend. Tim, Manny and Jose took great care of our stuff and did the move fast. Northstar is also very reasonable in terms of price, especially for things like wrapping and protecting your furniture. Other places will totally rip you off with these hidden costs, but Northstar was very upfront and reasonable about it. If it ever comes time to move again, this is the company I’ll use!

I have come out of Yelp retirement to write this review because I was so incredibly happy with NorthStars service. When I first called I spoke with Jessica, little did I know she would be my new best moving buddy. She was friendly and patient explaining the whole process to me, answering all my questions, even alerting me to the yelp deal. Anyone that gives you great service and saves you money is good in my book! It was also nice that she called to check in with me pre/post move and knowing that I could call her at any point was very reassuring. As for the actual move, Diego and his team were amazing. They were friendly and polite and Diego took time to walk around the house with me and listen to my caffeine deprived, hectic move morning, scatter brained plan. Then they took off into action, and once they started moving they did not stop! In fact everything happened so fast, before I knew it I was racing to drive to the new house to open the doors for them. Once at the new house they were back at it. In fact I had to ask them to slow down so my brain could catch up with them. I was a little frazzled trying to figure out where everything should go, trying to plan for that house warming party I want to have over the summer, my mind wandering and excited for being in the new house. Several times the guys reminded me that they were there to do the moving and that I should stop trying to carry the boxes myself, and that all I needed to do was tell them what to do. They also offered to stay and move everything into the exact place I wanted it, all I needed to do was tell them where. While I do not plan on moving for a very long while, I will sing NortStars praises to anyone who I know is planning a move.

Awesome crew! Mike B., the foreman with Brandon MC. and Sam R. Showed up on time, negotiated a very difficult situation of getting the huge truck onto my driveway, packed and loaded within the estimated load time (actually 1/2 hour earlier), arrived on time (not missing to call me when they stopped for a 1/2 hour lunch) unloaded within the estimated time and the deed was done! Very cool young men who worked hard and diligently, showed great patience when moving things into the new house and helped move a few things a couple of times. Thank you North Star Moving Company, a stressful day went by easy and smooth! To the young men, Mike, Brandon and Sam, who moved all my stuff, thanks guys you were an awesome team! It was really cool working with you!

Our movers showed up so promptly we were barely prepared for them. A great team of three guys worked quickly to get us moved. The large items were wrapped in blankets and taped to protect them so everything arrived in the condition it left in. The woman on the phone even referred us to the Yelp Deal which was appreciated. Overall, NorthStar made a stressful, busy day a lot more pleasant. Thanks NorthStar.
