What impressed me most was their professionalism and organization. The movers were friendly, respectful, and made what could have been a stressful day much easier. They took the time to protect furniture and were careful when moving larger items through tight spaces.
Communication was excellent throughout the process, and there were no surprises. We used NorthStar Moving Company for our move from Dana Point in May 2026, and the experience was excellent. The movers were on time, efficient, and professional throughout the move.
Unfortunately, a staircase tile was accidentally damaged during the move. What impressed us most was how Danilo and his team handled it. They immediately accepted responsibility, communicated well, and worked with us and the new homeowners until the tile was properly replaced.
Their accountability and follow-through were outstanding. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company responds that matters. Every step of our move was exceptional with NorthStar Moving. From the virtual survey with Lorena, who was responsive, to the team that packed our belongings, to Alejandra, our coordinator and of course the team that unloaded and unpacked (Abrahim, Jerome and Dom). We have done quite a few moves: international and interstate, and without a doubt, NorthStar Moving made this one the most seamless and stress-free. The customer service, the way they packed our belongings with such care and to how efficient the unloading went. Even my husband, who is hard to please, was beyond impressed. The pickup was exactly as scheduled and a crew of 4 did a fantastic job packing all the furniture in bulletproof wrapping. I have moved many times and this was by far the best experience. The deliver also was extraordinary and a crew of 3 delivered and moved heavy stuff including a heavy refrigerator. Communication was perfect and both crews were ultra professional.

NorthStar Moving has been absolutely magnificent. They came last Wednesday. They loaded a big truck for us. They did it very organized in a very good fashion. Five guys. They worked very hard. Now, they came back again today.
And look how quickly they were able to pack all this. We’re going to Finland. So, we’ve had to be packed for an international move and they’re going to take it to a pallet and they’re going to actually deliver to where we’re moving to the specific address. So, you couldn’t ask for more than that or better than that.
Door to door. Yeah. And on top of it all, Abner never ever got tired of my 1500 calls. He always promptly returned my calls or answered them right on the spot. The most professional ever.
Yeah. And it wasn’t her fault that we had to delay because of the house escrow closing and things like that. It was always one thing after another. So, but it’s just worked out wonderful. We couldn’t have been luckier or found a better moving company to go overseas with than you guys here. NorthStar. It’s actually in Finnish it’s “pohjantähti” which means northern star and it’s a good luck and it’s a good luck charm. So you you guys are our good luck charm.
