I had a relatively recent nightmare with a moving company ran by a bunch of scumbags, so I was wisely cautious about hiring a small business moving company. When I submitted my request for a bid, NorthStar was one of the first companies to reply to my request.
I vetted them along with other companies and their customer representative went out of her way to understand my needs. I was perfectly upfront about my need to stay on my tight budget and prior to my move they worked with me to estimate the weight of my items as accurately as possible prior to my move.
Once the movers arrived, they were friendly, professional, fast, and courteous. They quickly called me to inform me of the final weight of my items, confirming that my move would be within budget.
I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly my items arrived, they told me it could be up to 10 business days, but my items arrived in 5.

I had a very difficult escrow. My moving date changed several times. They gladly moved my date several times, did everything possible to accommodate the time that worked for me. My move was not easy. Very large furniture out of a mobile home into an apartment… up a stairway that has a difficult turn. They protected each and every piece of furniture and everything arrived exactly as it left my home. Perfect. The guys who moved me were the best… moved furniture around my home until it looked good in it’s final place… No complaints, professional, and very willing to please.
I purchased all of my boxes and paper from Northstar. The box count was perfect. No waste. Amazing.
I would highly recommend them to anyone planning on making a move. Thanks for the best ever experience.
