Their prices were more than competitive…they were always on time with highly qualified people that had done the job quickly with complete professionalism and without any hustle to me…The estimated price they gave me upfront was never acceded!    Moving is a drag no doubts, NorthStar Moving make it almost enjoyable… I recommend these people all heartily.

I schedule NorthStar Moving to move my belongings from Pasadena to Glendale and the guys was suppose to be there at 7am, they were there right on time. They were amazing. They just kind of swoop through the townhouse packed everything beautifully and moved it to Glendale. The move was originally schedule for 12 hours, they were done under 8 hours and the move actually ended up costing me less than what the estimate was. I am thrilled. I would recommend them to anybody.

This is a glowing review of NorthStar, but before I sing their praises, I must tell you about the ordeal I went through finding them. Several weeks ago I needed a moving company so I visited moving.com (big mistake)~ as immediately I was inundated with 20 or more movers who were all underbidding and slamming the competition. When I arranged for several of these movers to visit my home for a confirming price quote all of a sudden their bids doubled! A classic “bait and switch” tactic.

Finding NorthStar was a dream come true. Tori Fowler not only was patient in handling my inquiry, but she never once put down her competition; That in itself was a refreshing difference! I checked out NorthStar on this BBB site and also protectyourmove.org. and it is important to note that they were the ONLY moving company with a perfect record. I thought to myself, this is too good to be true, but when Ran and his crew arrived to begin moving the furniture I knew our possessions were in good hands.

Ran and his crew were professional and packed everything carefully. Three days later our things arrived in perfect condition in Arizona. Save yourself alot of time and hassle, just choose NorthStar and your next move will be a dream come true!

Hi my name is Emily and I am moving today from Beverly Hills to Virginia and I had a lot of competition and a lot of different offers and had never moved  before but I chose NorthStar Moving and I am so glad I did. Joel and his team came early, they got to work and they done it in like 2 hours. Amazing job,  like packing everything and doing it all with great spirit and friendliness and laughter and just a wonderful team of guys. This is my dad, we’ve done nothing  but kind of mermerd around and pick up after them. Excellent.  Would unhesitatingly use them again.  

This weekend I moved a 1BR from Westwood to Santa Monica.  

I was nervous because it was my first time using a professional moving company, as opposed to friends/family and a UHaul: I was worried the crew would be taking breaks every 30 minutes on my dime.  I was nervous they were sending three guys for what appeared to be a two guy job- but after calling around different companies, 3 men seems to be the standard.  

I recommend them very highly and will definitely use them next time I move.  

The move was done quickly and professionally.  I got a call from Guy the foreman the day before the move confirming the details.  The next day, Guy and his crew of Angel and Ramiro called at 830AM saying they were outside.  

From then on through completion at 1115AM, the process was quick and efficient.  All three took no breaks and were always working.  

General numbers for those looking for a benchmark: A 1BR from Westwood to Santa Monica in under 3 hours.  At $115/hour plus double drive time, it ran me $380 not including tip.  3 hours might be a little short because I had moved the kitchen equipment and clothing myself in my car the night before. On the other hand, maybe 3 hours is a little long: these guys negotiated three flights of narrow spiral stairs with heavy furniture.  

Great job Guy, Angel and Ramiro!  I’ll definitely use NorthStar for my next move.

Hi my name is Amit Mehta. I just experience a move with NorthStar Moving and I will  say that with our move, I and my wife, could not have been happier. On time, creative,  hard working, didn’t stop, nothing let them — they pretty much had everything covered  and I think that with the diligence that they have shown with the move today, I would highly  highly recommend only them.
