This is our 3rd time using Northstar. They arrived early, worked fast, didn’t damage anything, and were very friendly. Very reliable and worth every penny. Definitely recommend them!
I’ve used NorthStar Movers 3 times now. The first 2 times I had great moving crews that were fast, efficient, courteous, and took care of my stuff. The last time, not so much. However, when Wendy (the Sr. manager there) found out about my lousy experience she made things right. In fact, she went above and beyond what would have been fair. You could tell that she really does care about the customers and seeing to it that people end up with a good experience. She didn’t respond like a hotel front desk clerk (a job I once had while in college, so I’m not knocking it) by just trying to adjust the bill and move you out of the way. She took time to call and discuss various aspects about the move that went both good and bad. She was equally concerned that credit would be given to her employees for the things they did positively, as well as the critical things that needed to be addressed. She wanted to know not only what was bad about my experience, but also what I thought could have been done to make it better; what could have helped this crew reflect the same positive feelings I had from the previous moves I’d done with them. In today’s bottom-line, corporate world it was truly refreshing to have someone treat me – the customer – like a person instead of just another number. True customer service is a dying art these days, but something I am more than pleased to have experienced with NorthStar movers  – enough to make me think for a moment we were in a town where everyone knows everyone and looks out for one another, but oh yeah this is LA!! As I mentioned before I had moved with these guys twice before and owed 5 star reviews for that, but for whatever reason had been too lazy to write. While my latest experience didn’t initially compare to that, the follow up customer service turned it into 5 stars. For that I feel this overdue 5 star review was necessary. Thank you, Wendy, for reminding why I keep coming back to use NorthStar Movers. Not that I want to move again anytime soon, but when I do I look forward to using NorthStar.

Their customer service is great.  They have the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with.  They call to follow up on your move so you don’t have to call them.

I had a couple of minor issues on the day of the move but they got sorted out.  Moving is pretty stressful so it was great that I could just hand the stuff off to someone else and have them get it to the next place.  

One really neat service that they provide is clothes boxes with hanging bars.  That was one of the reasons I picked them.  That way I didn’t have to move anything myself, I just packed everything up and handed it off to the moving team.
Everything went well. Movers were pleasant and professional. Price was reasonable and it was nice to have a yelp deal.  Very responsive to your needs and prompt.
Cheap and professional. Aren’t those the only two things that you are looking for in a moving company. People that are professional and are willing to do it at a reasonable price. I will use them again if move.
Another great moving experience! This was my second time using Northstar and I highly recommend them to anyone! My movers were team leader John Henry Wilson III plus John and Randy. Quick, easy and friendly! Handled personal items with care, 100% satisfaction.

I just wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to Kobe, Abby and Wendy from their accounts/accounting team. For my move, there was a mishap of the walls at my old condo building being scratched. I was initially nervous to contact Tim (the mover who helped me) because I’m so used to companies usually putting on the defense so they don’t have to pay for the damages. However, this was entirely different. Tim, my mover, was extremely professional and referred me to Kobe, who then referred me to Abby/Wendy (I’m assuming in accounting). They helped pay for the damage but what truly impressed me the most was their amazing professionalism and customer service. Every single step, they were courteous, responsive, and extremely helpful. The damages were paid with absolutely no headache and I was honestly blown away by how a small mishap turned into the most painless thing to fix. HUGE props to them on this. I’ve never had a company handle a bad situation so well and make it so painless. Seriously, if you’re not sure about hiring them for a move, just know that they handle any problems with the utmost professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency.
North Star Movers is the best moving experience I’ve ever had. Everything went so easy. Our move was scheduled for the movers to arrive between 8am-10am. John Henry Wilson was our team leader and he called me at 7am to tell me he was on his way and would be there at 8am. They were exactly on time. Jesse Estrada and Jose Gomez came along with him and they were all friendly and positive. They moved our office effortlessly. They were so strong, and we were impressed with John Henry lifting our couch by himself in one arm. They deassembled what was necessary and reassembled it correctly when they arrived to our new office. I would use them again and recommend using these guys for sure.
