we had to move two apartments into one house and thought it would be extremely difficult but with northstar movers, we were able to get it done in one day without incident. Northstar’s employees were professional, efficient and courteous. They had all of the last minute supplies on Hand at affordable prices. 10/10 would use again for our next move.

This is my second time using NorthStar: first time was SF to San Diego; this time from San Diego to LA.
The customer service for NorthStar is great! Get Stefy if you can – she coordinated both of my moves (I made sure to ask for her again), and is easy to work with and makes the process a lot less stressful.
My one complaint would be that the movers arrived at the end of the starting window and things moved slower than I expected, which resulted in us hitting some rush hour traffic on a Friday.
But besides that everything was smooth and all the silly moving policy shenanigans that my move-out building required were expertly handled by Stefy.

This company was great! Chase, Caesar and Maro did a great job and moved everything in a really timely manner. They were super careful moving my stuff and even cleaned up after!
Fast fast fast: blink and you’ll miss em! Jairo and his team loaded and emptied the truck so quickly it made my head spin. I can’t recommend them enough. They took the horrible and stressful process of moving and made it a breeze. Next time I move, I know whom I’m gonna call!
Great movers, very professional and courteous. Would use them again. Rodney, Christian, and Francisco were very pleasant and worked as fast as they could to get my move done.

They were some of the best movers I ever used. They were polite, courteous, and completely professional while still taking very good care of my things!!
Moving is always a stressful experience, but it was much alleviated by these guys.
The loading was absolutely fantastic. Leon and his team worked fast, efficiently, and were extremely thorough in wrapping everything — does covering everything with a blanket and then taping over it and then saran wrapping the whole thing count as excessive??
Not only that, they were extremely professional. This was tested by the ridiculous HOA board of our condo, who came into our place twice to berate us and the movers about ‘potentially’ damaging the elevator–which was in no way damaged. They continued to hinder Leon and his team and this got so ridiculous near the end of the process that they had to move our queen sized mattress and box spring down 3 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. Which they did with a much better attitude than we ourselves had towards the HOA. What a great team of guys. I only hope that the guys unloading our stuff are as great. Thank you guys!

Thanks for another easy move! Couldn’t have done it without the crew Gadi sent me this time – Jacinto, Robert, Jovany, Daniel and Alvarez. They were a great crew of hard working, professional, helpful, and best of all cheerful guys! They were on time and on budget. Another home run for NorthStar Moving! See you next time! We had a good experience with NorthStar. It started with the load-day. Our team leader, Jason, and his crew worked hard and were extremely professional. They packed everything super nicely and handled all our valuables with extreme care. It was as if they were packing their own stuff. They even worked through lunch to get our things loaded so we could be on our way (as we were driving south).
For the delivery, they gave us a window of 1-7 days. We called a couple days afterwards and requested to possibly get it delivered as soon as possible. They were able to accommodate our request and we were very pleased. Cesar, the dispatcher was understanding of our situation and made every effort to deliver early.
The delivery itself was a little challenging. They brought the wrong truck so our stuff was not there. We waited about 2 hours for our truck with our stuff on it. John and his crew worked hard to unload our stuff quickly though. They did it in about 2.5 hours which was great.
Moving Tip – One thing to note when they move boxes or furniture, there is no upside down or right side up – they just move it like a plain box. Therefore, things such as our file cabinet – which we had left our files in were moved around upside down so everything was jumbled. I recommend removing items from things such as dressers, file cabinets, etc. prior to moving.
We also had one piece of furniture missing. Customer service has indicated they are looking into it and will contact me within 24-48 hours. Hopefully they find it. I will update again.
UPDATE – they found our missing furniture and are delivering it to us. Again, customer service at NorthStar is great. Cesar, the dispatcher, called me and arranged for the drop-off of the piece. Will definitely use NorthStar again.

Great experience. My crew (foreman Artem and his guys Jose, Noe and Quincy, were experienced, considerate and went beyond the call to ensure my things were well taken care of. From their prompt arrival in San Jose to the TLC during packing – despite a slight misstep that I’m assured will be handled correctly – to the arrival at my new home in Morgan Hill, these gentlemen were the absolute best professionals you could have to handle your move. I highly recommend NorthStar and especially this great crew. Thank you!!
