Used North Star Moving Company this last week for my move from LA to SF and it was great. A rep visited the apartment 1st to see what I was
moving and gave me an estimate. I was moving my bedroom, kitchen table, some chairs, side tables and 15 boxes and it ended up being around
$1,000. The movers showed up on time and worked quickly. They provided wardrobe boxes and had all of the packing materials to protect all the furniture
(quilts, shrink wrap etc). I was very impressed with how much care they put into wrap the furniture, I really appreciated.
The only cavaot is that the movers have a 1-7 business day arrival period. I understand why, but I just wished I had more concert of an idea
of the arrival. My stuff ended up coming in 4 days and they called about an hour before arrival. These movers also worked quickly.
All together, everyone I interacted with was nice, accommodating and very professional. I would use them again in the future.
These guys were great. We were told they would show up between 8 and 9 am on a Saturday. They called at 7:15 saying they would be around 8 am and showed up right at 8.
There were 3 guys and they were incredibly efficient. We had roughly 30 boxes and furniture as part of a 900 square foot apartment.
They moved our boxes in about 45 minutes and then took about another hour to do the rest. They then drove 45 minutes to our place and unpacked everything.
All told we paid $640 for 5 hours including the coupon we got on Yelp. These guys were great.
There were a couple of shelving units that they took apart that now don’t work totally so we have to find a part to keep the shelving upright but otherwise everything was in good order.

We were referred to NorthStar from a friend who used them and had nothing but great things to say, our experience was the same. Great company and customer service is an A+. We moved from Los Angeles to Orange County and everything went quickly, I do recommend getting a quote before your move so you have no surprises on the cost. We did so and our total ended up being $100 LESS than our quote so that was a nice surprise because hiring a good moving company is not cheap. We will definitely be using them for our next move, and that’s a promise.

The movers on both ends did a great job and were careful with our furniture. We had another move prior to this one and I was
much happier with Northstar and will definitely use them when we move again to our new house.
