Ivan, Sammy, and Roman did a great job helping me move all of my stuff and reassembling my furniture. I called North Star two days before and they found a time for me on the day I needed without a problem. They even called the evening before to confirm. When they came, they did it all in less than four hours! This is my second time using this company and I highly recommend it. I was only moving around a mile within Culver City but I had a lot of stuff – a full sized bed, desk, two dressers, and a bunch of other large stuff. With all of the deals I combined my total came out to less than $500. Keep in mind the price/ hour depends on what time you want to use the movers. The morning hourly rate is more expensive than the afternoon, I think. Either way, these guys are super trustworthy and friendly and I will continue to use this company for all of my moves, if I have to move again…hopefully not though, haha.

Jorge and his crew, Kevin and Richard, moved me today and they were incredible. Fast and friendly. When they encountered a problem with the truck they communicated with me and the staff in the office was so friendly and helpful! This was my third and by far my best move with NorthStar!
This was my first time using North Star Movers and I am extremely proud of my decision. Fred, Artem, and Ricardo came to help me move my stuff into a trailer for shipment to North Carolina. They had the difficult task of “Tetris-ing” my boxes into the 9ft tall trailer but they handled it flawlessly. I couldn’t have chosen a better company and been fortunate to have such a great team help me. I recommended them to a friend who is moving in a few months, and since my friend was present, he agreed. Miguel, Jimmy and Matt are amazing! Highly recommended. No nonsense, moved quickly to get the job completed, but very professional. Highly organized and all my furnitures and boxes were handled carefully with precision and neatness. They were all super nice! Will definitely use them again!!!!

David F. Juan L. and Koran M showed up at my apartment bright and early. They introduced themselves and asked me to give them a quick walk through. After showing them what needed to be moved they quickly got to work. Every once in a while they would ask questions if they weren’t sure about something but for the most part I stayed out of their way and let them do their thing. I was thoroughly impressed. They were very efficient! I had rather large items that needed to be moved down two flights of stairs and they managed to do this in very short time. I am very grateful to these three young men for helping us make what was essentially a last minute move. 140.00 might seem a bit pricey to some but for the service they gave I think it was money well spent. If you need help getting some moving done, you really can’t go wrong with Northstar. Thank you David, Juan and Koran. You guys rock!

The guys were great moving all my stuff out including my fridge! The load up and move out process was quick and efficient. The going to my new apartment and the move in was slower than I imagined but they took the time to help me out and put things where they needed to be.

This is the second time I used Northstar, and once again I’m glad I did. Arrived on time, handled the truck expertly, nobody complained about the three-floor walk up, were careful with my stuff and didn’t break anything, and had everything they needed. The office was responsive to them when they called and handled things quickly. Luis, Angel, Micel, and Ruben had great attitudes, hustled, and worked well together, and I enjoyed spending the day with them, actually. They made sure everything I needed got done, and it all went well. Each of the things I’ve mentioned has gone wrong with other companies–sometimes multiple things in one move. What a relief.
David and his two crew members were on time, polite, and hard workers. They put in extra effort, listening to a few of my packing concerns and following through when antique furniture needed extra TLC handling. My daughter’s used them several times and recommended them to me and, now that I’m a happy first-time customer, I will do the same.
I used Northstsr to move from Pasadena to the Bay Area and had a great experience. Northstar was very easy to work with, communicating by email and phone. The day of the move the team arrived right on time and did a great job packing all the stuff in our apartment. I could tell the care they used to pack up our valuables. They spent about 8 hours packing or 2 bedroom apartment. Delivery was five days later and right on schedule. The team helped to reassemble our furniture and made sure we were satisfied. Northstar has moved me a hand full of times and they are always five star. Today’s (and hopefully my last move) deserves six. Fred, Artem, Cristian and Rafael totally killed it. Fragile antiques with thin glass were handled with kid gloves. I can’t say enough. Great work.

These guys are pros! Jeremy, Lloyd, Carlos, and James knocked it out of the park. I was worried that I didn’t have everything packed and that this move would be a nightmare. Not a problem for these guys! Everything was packed wrapped and out out the door in no time!
