PEOPLE if you want a move done right stop looking and start calling Northstar Moving Company. This is my 2nd move within a year and I have never seen such amazing work done. FAST, CAREFUL, HONEST, PROFESSIONAL best describe my movers and the company. Request for Javier, Adolpho, and Noelle. They took my furniture through tight corners without leaving a scratch. Javier was very honest in keeping time and making sure his crew was efficient and effective. I would highly recommend this company and specifically this crew.
Super friendly, super quick and super professional!!! These guys know how to move!!! Needed a moving company last minute and northstar evaluated my home immediately and set me up with four guys within three days. We just moved from Chino to LA. We chose Northstar for two reasons, someone recommended them and their rates were the best. The team from NorthStar movers was great. They were very friendly and did a great job. They worked hard and fast and took great care with my furniture and they went out of their way to be very helpful. Northstar did an amazing job with a ton of stuff! Miguel, Oscar and Ricardo did an amazing and efficient job and made the move feel smooth and easy. It was a stressful time with some tight stairwells and giant couches but they made our San Francisco move awesome.
This is the first move in my life and those guys made it an excellent experience!!! Adrian, Diego and David are very professional and they know what they’re doing. We have a storage bedroom and when we bought and got it installed, the guys we hired took 5 hours to bring it up and install it. The Northstar folks disassembled it , moved it and assembled back again in less than an hour and a half!! They are that fast and experienced! They wrap everything professionally. They put everything in place and they definitely make it look so easy. I’m definitely hiring them for my next move and you should too!!! Best experience and a great price too!!

This was my third time using North Star, and there’s a reason I keep using them. Jorge G called me 45 minutes before showing up to let me know when he would be arriving, and once he did, he did an amazing job along with Orlando G and Saul MC.
They took great care with all of my belongings, wrapping my bed, dresser, huge sectional sofa, plasma TV, guitar amp and massive BBQ and moving them from my 2nd floor apartment to my new 2nd floor condo. Polite and efficient, Jorge and team are the best. Five stars for North Star!

I can’t really express how awesome these guys were. Ray and his team basically killed it – I moved about 4 years ago with a somewhat-popular-on-yelp-moving-company that may or may not rhyme with “Fat Brian”, and back then I had about half as much stuff which they moved with a team of three.
Northstar sent over a team of four, moved me approximately the same distance, and it took *far less time* and cost a good $300 less. These guys moved like lightning, and cleared out my apartment (carrying stuff down 3 flights of stairs) faster than I could believe!
I don’t plan on moving for a while, but with absolute certainty, I would choose Northstar in a heartbeat. Actually – I doubt it would take me even that long.

I’ve never done a long distance move with movers and was pretty nervous about it. My husband found Northstar on Angie ‘ s List and so glad he did. Everything went so smoothly…from the initial scheduling, the estimated costs broken down and emailed to me, the constant email and phone communications to make sure we were all on track, the arrival and careful packing and loading the truck and the safe on time arrival. This was a San Francisco to LA move. I would work with all of them again. If you do hire them please tip at least 5%…they never expected it but we’re happy to get it and why not…they are awesome.
Great experience, nothing was damaged in the process (which I’ve never seen before) and the movers themselves were awesome and efficient. Definitely would recommend them! They know their stuff. Plus they have a bunch of discounts to help reduce the price drastically!!
Richard Carrillo, Alex Fajardo, Hector Rivera were fantastic workers!!! I’ve never seen movers work so quickly and safely. We had had many pick ups and two drop offs and they went full speed the whole time. Really impressed, they were beasts! I will be using these guys again 🙂
Just worked with Herman and his crew of 3 from Northstar to help us house move in the South Bay. This was by far our best move experience in LA. I would highly recommend. On time and under budget.
Miguel and his team from Northstar Moving were AMAZING! I had to use them twice (first to move everything to storage and then for a second time to move everything into the apartment) and I couldn’t have been more pleased. They were friendly, very careful with my belongings, and were willing to help in any way they could.

A few friends had used NorthStar and highly recommended it, and they were absolutely right! The movers were fantastic. They showed up on time and quickly, efficiently and CAREFULLY packed up my apartment, safely transported everything to my new home and then quickly and carefully unpacked everything. They were really friendly, honest and affordable. I would definitely use NorthStar again for a future move!

A move is one of the most traumatic experiences in an individual’s life, so Moving Companies have a reputation for making life miserable, sometimes despite their best efforts. I have moved often – regionally, nationally, and internationally. I have never had a completely trouble-free experience, but how each moving company has addressed the inevitable challenges that arose has been the great differentiator, and the reason why I will likely stick with Northstar from now on. If you’re looking for the cheapest moving company, don’t go with Northstar. If you’re looking for the best value for money, however, this is your best bet. From the very first communication through all the little details after the move was completed, it was evident that the firm and all its employees were personally committed to my satisfaction. Yes, one or two items were accidentally damaged (nothing major), but the fantastic advice I had received from Northstar reps during the contract stage ensured I was more than covered, and at the best rates possible. Even after the move was all done, the firm called to ensure that repairs performed were up to standard, and that I was not just satisfied, but happy with the level of service provided, door-to-door. I would not only recommend them highly, but I will be sure to call them first thing, if ever I have need of moving services.

Our experience with North Star Moving could not have been better. With an apartment full of heavy, ungainly pieces and a fast-approaching move-out deadline, we were dreading our move. The crew that helped us today included Orlando, Hannes, Andres, and Ricardo — they were all careful, courteous and
communicative — and astonishingly fast. When we got to the new place, they took time to place everything carefully, so as not to scuff walls or scratch floors. They even placed the pads we purchased on the bottom of every piece and reassembled our bed. They were extremely friendly throughout the entire seven hours, and I did not see any of the four of them so much as glance at his phone. We couldn’t believe what an easy experience our move was with their help. Not a single item was damaged in the process. No other service could do better.
