It’s our second time moving in the city and we wanted to do it right this time. After reading some horror (moving) stories I decided to go with a company everyone else had used and liked.

They were very efficient and replied to my Angie’s List enquiry within 24 hours. They were also able to accommodate us at short notice (7 days).

I am blessed to have met Raymond and his team- Bryan and Alex. The three of them worked tirelessly packing what was left in the apartment. They were efficient from start to end, and getting the boxes up to the second floor was no laughing matter. But they did it all without any problems. And always with a smile.

If I had to engage moving services, I would definitely contact them again. And request for Raymond and his team.

Because of my great experience with Northstar several months ago, I decided to use them again for my second move. This time 45 minutes away. 

Miguel, Bryan R., Javier M. were the crew that helped me this time.

I received a courtesy call an hour prior and the team arrived 5 minutes early. They were very professional and worked well as a team. There was obvious synergy between the guys. They were extremely careful with my items. I couldn’t believe how well everything fit into the truck. It was like playing Tetris with boxes and furniture! They are definitely the experts in moving!!

When we arrived at the destination they were careful with my new floors and wore booties and layed out a roll of carpet to walk on. They carefully unloaded everything into my garage and the rooms. They cleaned up quickly and left my driveway/garage cleaner than when they arrived! 

I have already recommended Northstar Moving to my friends/colleagues and will continue to do so. I will definitely be using Northstar the next time I move. Hopefully I’ll get the same amazing team: Miguel, Bryan R and Javier!

Phenomenal job with the move! My first move in the bay resulted in damage to a number of my personal items and a ton of run-around to get resolutions!

Working with the Northstar team was like a breath of fresh air! Stephy arranged my move and was very accommodating to the fact I had a very narrow window to move in with upcoming travel… On move day, Nemer was in constant communication throughout the day with an arrival ETA. Once he, Rodolfe, and Bidal arrived they were swift and got my pack and unpack done with no hiccups- very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend!

Doron, Chase and Michael J. Ray were on time and very careful with my stuff.  The move was very successful and the rate good.  I was referred to this company and will definitely refer others.

We used Northstar on the recommendation of a friend. After comparing prices, they have the best deal with the least nickel an diming. Guys showed up on time and packed up, wrapped everything, drove, and unpacked our crowded one bedroom apartment in SF to Lafayette in 7 hours flat. Nice guys, very friendly, took good care of everything, and made sure it was in the right place before leaving. Good deal, good service, highly recommended.

I had the great pleasure of hiring NorthStar for my move from Downtown Los Angeles to Westwood, CA. While not a great distance in miles, the nature of my belongings, made the move was complex.  The entire crew were outstanding.  I can t imagine what I would have done without this incredible group.  Everyone from the management to the team I worked with handled my problems with ease and grace.  I want to give particular thanks to Randy Chicas, Cesar, and all the team who worked tirelessly through 100 plus temperatures to get the job done in the shortest time possible.  I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to make their move a true dream come true.  Super job extremely well done.

This is my second time using Northstar and they were great again. They were on time, packed everything and were very professional. My guys were Jadiel, Salvador and Danny, very nice guys. I would definitely use these guys again. I could not have had a better move thanks to them.

I must preface this review with the fact that I had a horrible previous experience with another moving company… Which made me wonder if all moving companies worked that way. 

I was relieved to see such marvelous reviews of northstar and that they had a deal for a $100 voucher! 

They were very effective in communicating with me prior to the move and when I was booking they gave me alternate dates to schedule so that it would be more cost effective for me. 

The guys showed up on time the day of and gave me a 30 min heads up. Joseph was the foreman and was fantastic in his communication with me through out. 

The guys had 2 places to pick up at and they did it so quickly and safely! I didn’t feel like I was being nickeled and dimed for supplies my entire move lasted 3 hours and everything went so smoothly. 

Thank you Northstar for installing faith back in me with moving companies! I will defiantly be using them in the future!

Awesome!!! Moved from Hermosa Beach to Miracle Mile into a one bedroom and the crew was great!! I had them pack everything and it was a horrible heat wave and they got it all done, delivered, set up and everything arrived safely. Fabulous guys to work with – thanks to Doron, Michael J Ray, & Jesse for an easy move experience!! (Paul Walker Jr was even on the crew! Ha!) I would for sure recommend Northstar again to anyone looking for an efficient move with a crew you can trust. Thanks again guys!!!

I recently used Northstar for my fifth moving experience.  I guess that says something in itself if I keep calling them back.  The crew was punctual, worked hard which saves you money on the hourly rate and in all 5 moves, the only damage was a chipped piece of glass which the company immediately reimbursed me for the repair.  

I trust their service and reputation and will no doubt hire them again for any of my moving needs.  I no longer call other companies for quotes and estimates.  It is unnecessary when you have already found the best moving company.

NorthStar is the best!  Jason and his team were professional, efficient and fast. The price is reasonable and communication with the company clear.

Great movers. Showed up on time…to the minute. Hustled throughout the day. Everything went smoothly. I will definitely consider using them again in the future.

As the yelp reviews say, they are amazing.   Got an estimate before our move… initially estimated for 8-9 hours.   They were done in about half that time.  Movers are efficient, friendly and really there to help!   I have recommended them to a few friends already and give them 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

What a amazing experience I had with Northstar Movers. They literally moved me twice as fast as I expected and took extra care with my fragile belongings. I highly recommend North Star Movers.

Northstar did an amazing job helping me move from Alhambra to West LA. Very friendly and professional. They went above and beyond with the move and were able to finish the move under the initial estimate. I will definitely be calling them again for the next move.

I called on a Wednesday to set up a move for Sunday. Stefy was very helpful in arranging this. The movers (Mark Martinez, Ovidio, and Jovanne) arrived 5 minutes to 8am ready to move. They wrapped everything perfectly, nothing was damaged in the move.  They beat their own estimate by 2 hours even with the epic amount of stairs in both places. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I would definitely move with these guys again.

I used NorthStar for the 3rd time this weekend and they were great as always. Prompt, efficient, friendly and total pros. Jadiel, Jesse and Alfonso were my movers and they were fantastic. As always, I highly recommend NorthStar!!

I had them pack and move our entire apartment from Alameda to Mountain View.  The ENTIRE job took 8 hours.  That’s it!! The guys that came (Oscar, Manuel, and Alex) were friendly, very hard working, and super efficient.  I was amazed.  I’ve moved 10 times in the last 12 years.  This was the easiest move of my life, hands down.  I couldn’t believe how everything was perfectly taken care of.  We have a storage unit we need moved down here as well, and will be calling NorthStar when it comes time!
