I am writing to let you know how much I appreciate the outstanding customer service that your staff provided during our office move, during the weekend of March 21, 22 & 23rd, 2014.
It first started with our introduction to the Project Manager, Gadi Avigzer who came and gave a bid on the physical move. He was professional, answered our questions and assured me the move would be successful and I wouldn’t have to worry about anything. It then continued with the Staff I interacted with during the actual move. They were courteous, on time and went above and beyond what was required of them for each of the three days we worked together.
On Sunday March 23rd, the move was completed but they stayed on to help us assemble patio furniture and hang a few pictures around the office – above and beyond and VERY much appreciated.
Gadi checked in a couple of times during the weekend, to make sure all was going smoothly, again awesome customer service.
Because of their efforts, I was able to complete an entire office move of 14 employees in one weekend. You have put together a great team that makes customers feel respected and valued.
I look forward to working with your company again in the future and would gladly be a reference if the need should ever arise.

Excellent experience. I only had a 2 room move and it was still worth every penny. The movers were friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

A great experience with a great team! Arrived right on schedule and got right to work. They even made sure to unwrap a chair for me to sit in while I directed where everything should go in the new house. This is our second time using them and while I don’t PLAN on moving for the next 20 years, if we ever did I would use them again!

The good thing is, all reviews here are genuine for sure, because North Star, nicely but persistently asks it’s customers to write a review. Which I think is awesome, because at least now I know that reviews are written by real people, not by some paid guys from the other side of the globe. They are so nice, that even I — having no time whatsoever — felt guilty for putting off writing the review. To be honest, I was hoping to get out of it completely… I really enjoyed my experience with North Star. I wasn’t super choosy, I just saw their truck when I was leaving payment for my new apartment. Went on the website Read some glowing reviews on internet and ordered the service. All of that was easy! Mind you, I have a fear of moving. Not like go-yo-the-therapist kind of fear, but I just hate moving. I only moved twice in my life, so this is a huge freaking event for me. I needed it to happen as painless as possible. Unfortunately, their service is rather pricy, so if you wanna save some $$$, pack your stuff yourself and just leave the closet and the furniture. That’s what my boyfriend and I did. North Star crew came and picked everything up and transported it to new location. Just like that. Painless. Thank you!
We had a one bedroom loft plus a very full storage space. Scheduled them for the morning and they gave us an arrival time between 8 & 10. They called us about 20 minutes before 8 saying they are on their way and whether we are all set for them. Doron, Ivan and Gido were very helpful and they really told us the essentials of the move, just to make things quicker. They were careful with our stuff and made sure to ask us first before setting stuff down. We were all moved in by 12:30 pm. All in all, it was a quick and relatively easy experience.
The Northstar crew was fantastic! They got to the origin site at the exact same time as I was getting there. They were moved out of there so fast!
All in all, they were quick, clean and polite. They even wiped down the back of some of the furniture to get the dust off.
I’d definitely use them again.

North Star was fantastic! I used their packing service as well as their movers. Luis was a terrific foreman and Chase, Chris, and Oscar were fantastic as well. They were prompt, worked quickly and carefully, and were very nice. Highly recommend!

Ryan, Alex, and Robert B just finished helping me with a super quick and painless move. 1 bedroom apt wrapped and moved in under 3hours! Would definitely recommend.
Still a 5! After keeping my things in storage for 6 weeks I was finally able to schedule the move from CA to AZ. Adam gave me a window of time since it’s an out of state move. Only took 4days to that time frame for them to call and give me the date. Ivan was in charge, they arrived right on time and did an awesome job! Miguel was a crazy man, lol! Huge muscles. I’ve never seen anyone lift and carry like he did. The entire team were fun, considerate and very careful. Thanks guys

I just used northstar for the third time and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever use a different moving company. They showed up on time, were very fast, incredibly polite, disassembled and reassembled my complicated items for me, and helped with anything I needed. Doron, Manuel v, and David n. were a great team and made moving incredibly easy and stress free for me. I highly recommend northstar to anyone moving in LA.
Fantastic! I really didn’t expect this move to go this well as I’ve had many bad experiences with other moving companies in the past. The lead man, John Henry Wilson III really knows his stuff and made us feel very at ease while he expertly directed the 4 man crew. Job done two hours earlier than expected and we had added more stuff at the last minute. I will never use anyone else!
Just moved my 1 bedroom apartment into storage this morning. This is the 2nd time I’ve used this particular company. DORON, MANUEL V, DAVID NAJERA are super efficient, move fast, and make sure your precious belongings arrive as they are supposed to at their destination. I’m happy with the work they do and will definitely use them when I move my things out of storage and into my new place in a few months. Make sure you take advantage of their Yelp deal to save a few bucks!

Northstar was great. Nemer, Rodolfo, Carlos, and Andrew were fast and were all very hard working. They showed up exactly on time and helped us pack last minute items, and finished the move sooner than expected.
I am in the process of completing a move from Los Angeles to Seattle. This is the first time that I have ever moved across state lines with more than a couple of boxes to my name, so you can imagine the astronomical levels of stress that I might experience when all of my CRAP (of which I have way too much) packed up into just over 80 boxes and crates. All of which were down a narrow, steep driveway and then up about 12 steps off of a teeny postage stamp of a front porch.
However, NorthStar has made this process easy and as stress-free as possible. When I first contacted them, they were happy to send out an on-site estimator to have a look around. Gil typed away busily at an estimate, entering my furniture and estimating boxes, and then sat down with me to review the whole estimate. He then set about finding a move date that would save me the most money, since (apparently) there is a moving “season” and I was planning my move in the middle of it (summer, guys!).
After the estimate and the date was set up, I received an email copy of the whole thing, and easy email contact with the company as things changed and evolved (hey, I need wardrobe boxes…hey, I sold my couch, etc.).
The day before the Big Day, I received a phone call confirming my move, and they stepped through some details with me over the phone.
When they got to my house, the foreman (who was AWESOME) went through all the paperwork with me, and kept me informed at every step of the process, asking questions about how to package items, etc. They were very transparent, no secrets, and no messing around.
The three guys worked quickly, efficiently, carefully, and CHEERFULLY, and it was clear that they’ve done this before. No bitching, no throwing stuff around, just efficient beehive-like awesomeness.
I will update this review when they unpack my stuff in Seattle, but I can’t imagine that its going to change that much. I would recommend (and already have!) these guys to anyone, especially those of us who have logistically complicated or technically impossible moves.

I recently had my second great experience with NorthStar, and now I won’t use anyone else. My movers this time (Jose Garcia, Michael James Ray, Francisco Fernandez) were fantastic. They were prompt, efficient, and incredibly careful with my stuff.
I couldn’t ask for more, but what really got me to write this review was their amazing attitude. These three had already finished one huge move when they got to me, and they were forced to carry my belongings (including a heavy fridge) up a narrow flight of steps. I would have been cursing a blue streak in their place, but they were friendly and courteous the entire time. They went out of their way to make sure everything was in the right condition and the right place.
These guys do hard work, and they do it well. Because of them, I won’t hesitate to recommend Northstar to anyone who needs a quality mover.
