Today we had a crew from northstar help us move and everything went extremely smoothly. They were very professional and packed everything safely. We were able to fully move out from the old place and move back into the new place super quickly. All in all my family was very satisfied with the service. Will definitely use this company in future moves. 10/10 recommended!!

I highly recommend using North Star if you’re moving. They are extremely fast and incredible professional. We just moved and they brought all of our big items for us. They know what they’re doing, are very fast and efficient, and will do everything they can to get the job done the way you want it. We had so much packed up on the day of our move but we didn’t realize how much we didn’t do to properly prepare for the move .

Northstar came in and knocked out our move in a jiffy while being so careful and efficient. We are thankful for their wonderful team to make our move 100% easier!

These guys have always been great. Teddy, Juan, Alexis were absolutely the best. They were on time. Quick. Safe. Kept our stuff safe. Teddy was a beast and lifted a 200lbs elliptical down a flight of stairs. We’ve also used north star for about 7 moves and every time has worked great. We’ve done crazy moves like going to 2 or 3 places a day, or like today, storage then a walk up then another place in glendale. They are up front about their rates and friendly on the phone. I can’t recommend using them highly enough.

I was REALLY nervous about moving during the time of COVID. This was exacerbated when my trusted moving company called me the week of our move to cancel as a portion of their company had become sick with Coronavirus.

Moving during COVID-19 is bound to be stressful. I called NorthStar after my original moving company had to cancel due to a positive COVID case. Fortunately they were able to accommodate me on a tight time-line. I moved from a 1-bedroom to a 2-bedroom with very limited space. I was very happy with the service received from Alex and the 2 other movers he brought along. They came on time, listened to me, and helped with anything I needed. Most importantly, all my furniture was wrapped in plastic to avoid damage to either the furniture or the floors. I was very concerned that they avoid damaging the wood floors of my place, and they accommodated me by putting a small runner down before moving the furniture in. They were even very accommodating since I asked them to pack my dishes and other kitchen appliances (microwave, toaster). Most importantly, they were real troopers with the difficulties of the move, including the steep stairs, and when the elevator disappointingly broke right after we arrived at the destination. They carried all my furniture up 4 flights of emergency exit stairs once they realized the elevator would not be an option, without complaining. And the prices were even very reasonable for a 6 hour move! (Just under $1,000, though I reduced the cost my supplying all my own packing materials.)

The nicest movers possible, Alexis, Teddy, and Ian. We have never used a moving company before, and feared moving yet again. They were very careful with everything and wrapped up everything very thoroughly. We have a lot of stuff, a big record collection, multiple heavy keyboards and musical instruments, tons of books, cds, and dvds, along with all the usual stuff that comes with an average human living situation. So we were very grateful for the amazing help of these friendly guys at NorthStar. Thank you!

This is the first time I’ve ever hired a company to help my husband and I out with yet ANOTHER move in Los Angeles and I can’t express more gratitude for these guys. We received a phone call 30 minutes prior to their arrival allowing us enough time to prep. Teddy, Ian, and Alexis were very kind from the get-go introducing themselves with smiles behind masks, even in the throes of a pandemic. They were assertive and asked questions about everything. Our furniture and most precious items were carefully packed with moving blankets. These guys seriously made the entire experience so easy. I was very hesitant to use movers because I never had before. I was referred by a friend to look at Northstar. When I called they provided me a ton of information over the phone and immediately gave me peace of mind. I received a confirmation email with detailed description of what they would do within an hour of hanging up. On the day of the move Teddy called me and advised me he was 30 minutes away, which I really appreciated. Upon arrival Teddy and his crew (Alexis and Abel) were quick, efficient, and did a clean job. They were very detailed and listened closely as I explained where I wanted each item. Teddy and his team also worked so quickly to disassemble and reassemble all of my furniture I was shocked! These guys are amazing! Not a single item was scratched or damaged. I am so happy with their quality of work and overall demeanor. I can’t say enough good things about these 3 gentleman I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Teddys Crew was SO HELPFUL helping me move. Marco was a great help also!! First they gave me a courtesy call and said they would be to me in 30. They came just on time as scheduled! I didn’t even have to wait.  Then they were so kind and courteous when they greeted me. They moved both apartments I had and did it in a timely fashion and also helped me pack everything !!!! I have cats and they were aware of that and catered that as well and were very careful with my cats while moving my big items. They made my move so easy and happy and brought some sunshine to my day. I will use them anytime I move and I highly recommend them! They took their time to make sure they didn’t break any valuables and packed my items with care. Thank you NorthStar!!!!

These guys are awesome!  Moved us from Beverly Hills, even helped a couple older gentlemen who were there to pick up our fridge,  then moved us to Santa Clarita. They were very fast, professional, careful with our items and we would DEFINITELY recommend them to any body!!!!  Very nice guys!!!!

Teddy, Juan & Abel from North Star we’re absolutely incredible. They all came in with positive energy and a can do attitude. I had quite the morning getting everything ready for them to arrive. I took apart the beds and had everything packed and ready to go. They moved my 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with 15+ pieces of large heavy furniture including my peloton which they handled with incredible care. In the apartment they moved me out of they had to deal with small hallways into an elevator and didn’t bump into anything. My new home is a 3 story townhome with 6 half sets of stairs and turns around every corner. They wrapped all of my furniture so well that nothing scratched when they had to take the tight turns. I absolutely loved working with this team and would not only recommend NorthStar to anyone but I’d specifically recommend this incredible group of guys.

If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would! I moved yesterday with them (6/4/2020), and they were so incredibly efficient and kind!! I had packed most of my stuff, but they packed everything else for me. They even dismantled my bed and put it back together in my new place!! Amazing!! There were 3 lovely men that helped me- Ignacio, Leo, and Carlos (I hope that was his name!!). If I could guarantee I could get these three guys to help me move again, I definitely would!! They also looked like they were having fun, which made me feel good 🙂 everything was beautifully packed and placed in my new place, I could not be happier!! 10/10 DEFINITELY recommend!!!!

The North Star crew were nothing short of EXCELLENT. They took great care of my belongings and went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased. Fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. We will DEFINITELY use them again. I highly recommend them.

Wow! I’m so happy I went with this moving company! Kyle, AJ, and James were awesome! As soon as they got to my apartment they asked a few quick questions and got right to work! Wrapped up/covered the furniture that needed to be protected, was careful with all the furniture while carrying it through narrow spots, they were very gentle with the boxes labeled “fragile” (and respectful towards all the other boxes as well..they weren’t just throwing them around or dropping them on the floor), and most importantly they were very very professional and trustworthy. When they first arrived not everything was fully packed (because I planned on just carrying over some stuff myself later on). I had some jewelry sitting in a jewelry box out in the open and some designer purses and shoes, etc laying around still needing to be packed up. I was in and out of the apartment several times and felt completely comfortable leaving my expensive things inside the apt while one or two of the guys were still inside (without me inside with them) taking apart furniture.

Overall, they were fantastic and I highly recommend! They were quick, but did the job right and not half-a$$ed, made sure all the furniture and boxes were placed exactly where I wanted them, friendly and professional, and the price wasn’t bad at all especially considering the quality of service. I was so pleased with how the move went that I gave the team a very generous tip and I don’t regret it one bit…and hopefully future customers will do the same because these guys were awesome and deserve it. Out of all the moving companies I’ve used throughout the years, this by far was the best experience. Thank you guys!

I hired NorthStar based on a positive experience with my last move and they did not disappoint. Teddy’s an awesome crew chief, undaunted by lots of stairs and heavy furniture. When our 8.5 foot sofa wouldn’t fit through the odd angles in our entry hall, he came up with a solution: hoist it up the outside of the building and bring it in through the balcony. Highly recommend!

We decided to move from Tucson Arizona to Thousands Oaks California and learned about North Star moving from better business bureau with an A+ rating. They came in the window they confirmed with us and did a great job of doing Tetris with the boxes of our things. They moved our antiques with great care and placed them nicely. I moved from a one story home to a two story and they did all the heavy lifting which was great. Everyone was safe with the Covid precautions and very helpful. They unloaded in record time which was great.
