It’s been a week since our move and we’re still talking about what a great job our NorthStar team did to make our move easy and painless. They showed up on time, and jumped in like masters. They carefully wrapped and packaged our furniture beyond anything we’ve seen before and safely transported to our new flat. That earns them 3 stars. But they get 5 stars for the heroic way they managed to squeeze our furniture through tiny doorways, around corners, and up stairs. Many times, it looked impossible but they found ways to get an extra inch here and there. They never gave up. Others would have taken the safe way, left our couch on the sidewalk and told us to buy a new one. Not our NorthStar team. They finished the job and saved us a lot of time and money. We highly recommend them! Totally worth every dollar.

So impressed with the entire team at NorthStar Moving. They were very patient and accommodating with us as our moving date kept shifting, and the move went flawlessly. Seriously best in class people from our rep to our packers to our movers. They went way above and beyond to make sure everything was put back together logically and conveniently. Pricing was reasonable and up-front. Absolutely nothing got broken or damaged. Great communication all around. Love these guys and would highly recommend to anyone.

Northstar are fantastic. I used their service for a one-bedroom move today. I could not have asked for better movers than Chase and Jesse from Northstar. They were knowledgable and professional in every way possible, and totally pleasant. They took the stress out of a potentially very stressful day. They were especially adept at dismantling are re-assembling large items of furniture. Rock and Roll Movers recommended Northstar when they were not available, and I’m glad I followed their recommendation. And yes, Chance & Jesse wore masks the entire time.

Alex’s team did an amazing job with my move today! They were all so friendly and handled all of my stuff with care. I was so stressed about the move but they made the process totally seamless! They even put my bed frame back together for me which was amazing. I also was able to get a fairly last minute appointment for my move and they were able to accommodate the time window I needed for my apartment building, unlike the movers I called before them. This was my first time using this company Or any moving company. They were great, very nice and friendly. The movers showed up on time and packed a lot of my stuff very quickly and efficiently! They unpacked everything and set it up perfectly! Very happy with my service. Definitely recommend them!!

Moving is stressful enough as it is, but finding a good moving company can help make the big day easier. These guys came highly recommended by my sister who is very OCD about her stuff.  The guys they sent to my house – Nicholas and team – were especially great. They were efficient, professional, and had an amazing attitude even though the building I moved into forced them to walk a huge distance to transport the furniture to my unit. I’ll be asking for this crew again when I need to move out in a few months.

There’s nothing worse than having to move to new location. So I celebrated Labor Day by moving from my apartment in Vacaville back to my condo in Livermore. My beautiful wife hired Northstar Moving Company (Fairprice Movers, Inc) and what an excellent team they are. The four movers, Ernesto, Juan, Toño and Jaime were extremely professional and kind. They were able to pack everything and move everything to new location in less than 8 hours and there was not a scratch on anything (not even a broken glass). Three years ago when I moved from Livermore to Vacaville, the movers we hired at that time took 2 days to move everything and charged $3000.00. The Northstar moving Company charged less than half of that. By the way, my condo in Livermore is a three story condo which is obviously difficult to take heavy stuff up three flights of stairs, yet this group of four moved everything without any problems or complaints. I highly recommend this company. My only regret is that I wish I can give them a 100 stars, however I’m only allowed to give 5 max. Again, extremely pleased with this company.

Shout out Pedro and Jorge for helping me move into my new place today. They were very efficient with packing and helped unload all of the furniture in my new place. They provided all of the moving materials and did all the rest including arranging furniture in their new spots. I just used this company for the 3rd time, and they never cease to amaze me.  I get very stressed by the move-out process and they manage to take all that stress off my shoulders.  The movers are respectful, on-time, and very efficient.  I would use them time and again.

This is the second time I’ve used North Star and they were very helpful. The crew communicated well and were prompt when arriving. They were very accommodating and helped move everything from large furniture to paintings. The crew was very friendly and answered all of the questions I had around what needed to be done. Would recommend for any move.

Had a great experience moving with John and the team. John is very efficient, and manages the team well. He also thinks things through how to sequence things to make sure everything makes sense.

NorthStar always exceeds expectations!

Seriously – they are the best. This was my FOURTH MOVE with NorthStar and each time they have exceeded my expectations. My husband and I are so grateful and will not use anyone else. Here are some highlights:

1. Gil’s estimating is spot-on. He has estimated each of our moves and even suggested ways for us to save money on the NTE price. Each time we followed his advice and beat the NTE price!

2. The team (this time led by Tommy) are SUPER professional. They called to confirm 2 days before, and then each morning about 45 minutes before arrival. This was a two-day move and they were on time (actually a bit early) each day.

2. The actual move was smooth and quick. These guys are FAST and work quickly, efficiently and professionally. I saved a lot on the NTE price because we did a lot of prep and the guys appreciated it and were cranking on both move days.

Since this was out 4th move, this is not a fluke. I consistently count on Gil and NorthStar for a stress free, fair, professional move. Super grateful to Gil and the teams he sends. Happy customer for life!

Very strong men and trucks. Most trucks would have been destroyed by this tree but not Northstar Moving trucks! Much respect to these guys for their fast delivery.

I am utilized Northstar for the second time. As with my first experience, the crew worked fast with care. Both the customer service department and movers are extremely friendly and professional. Northstar is now my go-to.

Moved into our house last weekend with the help of Northstar moving. They worked so hard and made sure everything was wrapped super well before transportation. We will definitely hire Northstar again in the future!

This was my 2nd time using Northstar. In both instances their 3 movers arrived promptly, and at all times I felt as though my belongings were in good hands. They added additional protective wrapping to my furniture and were conscientious as they moved it onto and off of their truck. Their sales/booking team made the reservation process easy, and their Customer Care was courteous and accommodating when I had to deal with them for a service issue. What an amazing crew!  Cesar V., Brandon and Nick packed and moved my belongings to the storage at NorthStar.  This crew is very well organized, very helpful and a dynamic team.  They care for your belongings and make sure you are well informed.  I highly recommend this team of wonderful crew and wish them all the best.  I consider myself very lucky!

My experience with NorthStar was fantastic from start to finish. The rep who booked my reservation gave me a cheaper rate than normal, booked me for a Sunday, and with less than 24 hour notice. The movers that came out were professional, fast, and I was impressed with their assembly and disassembly skills. They were extremely cautious with our items and always made sure we were happy with what they were doing along the way. I will definitely be using them for future work.
