I was very impressed with the service from North Star moving! Kyle, Austin, Anthony, Red were my movers and they were awesome! They arrived right on time, and moved my items in a timely manner. They were very safe with all my items and I had no damage at all! They were the friendliest staff and made my move so seamless and easy.

My husband and I recently moved out of our fourth floor apartment into a single family home. Our apartment was two levels and the farthest from the elevator! We knew we were going to need professional movers. We asked for recommendations from our neighbors and North Star cam highly recommended. The booking process was very simple and they even offered to come and do an estimate before we moved. Communication throughout the process was perfect. When the day finally came we were pleasantly surprised to meet Brandon and his team of two other guys. From the minute they arrived they were pleasant, hard working, and efficient. Brandon even gave tips as we finished packing the last few boxes. At one point I was trying to move something and Brandon told me he would get it and not to worry about a thing! Moving is not fun at all but Brandon and his team made it the best it could be! I recommend them for your next move.

NorthStar was super easy to work with.The guys that helped with our move were super careful and worked really hard. We have a lot of stairs that aren’t easy to navigate, and they did it safely and efficiently.

I’ve always done moving myself and with a few friends but with all the stuff I’ve accumulated, I needed to get movers. I told my boyfriend about Northstar when he was moving and saw how great they were so I used them for myself. I was super impressed and happy with how fast they were able to pack up everything in my one bedroom apartment. I had a lot of loose items that I just couldn’t put into boxes so the team had packed them all up for me. Carlito was super communicative and upfront about everything. I am so happy with the moving services from Northstar! They were on time, friendly and took such great care of our things. Reggie, Davell, and Jordan were an absolute pleasure to work with! WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEM. Not only were they professional, but they were also very timely and careful with everything they moved from point A to point B without an elevator (not to mention we’re on the top floor of a four-story building). Just did a local move from Chandler to Queen Creek. Neighbors previously used NorthStar for their local move and had a fantastic experience, so we went with their recommendation. The quote significantly beat other companies, but the 4 guys (Austin, Kyle, Alex and Deontre) were fast, careful, respectful and accommodating throughout the entire day. Reginal, Jordan, and Davell were so quick and so efficient with my move. They arrived on time (20 minutes early actually) and were able to move my 1-bedroom amount of stuff in just three hours. They took great care of my belongings and wrapped all my fragile items super securely. I used two other moving companies in San Francisco in the past and this was by far the fastest and easiest move I’ve ever done. I’ll definitely be returning to this company for any of my future moves in the Bay.

We used Northstar moving company to move us after 26 years from a single level house to a two story home. David was very thorough and precise about our bid, coming to house to evaluate. Nick Acosta our team leader was excellent, as were his additional team members. It took approximately 11 hours, there is no way we could have done it without their help. They were courteous and professional, I highly recommend them for your next move.

My family recently Moved across the city and with NorthStar it was a breeze. Moving is never easy and quite stressful but Robert, Alex, and Matt made our transition simple. They were able to move our entire 3 bedroom condo in one day and reassemble all the furniture! They even had to carry some heavy pieces up 4 flights of stairs because they wouldn’t fit in the elevator (Sorry fellas). To be honest I hope I never move again but if we do I’ll request Robert and his crew for sure!

The truck showed up on time, with 3 movers, with one leader that I deal with.

They were extremely professional, handling our furniture with care, and communicating options and a plan both where they picked up the furniture (origin) and where they dropped it off (destination)

Marlon, Caleb, Roldolpho, and Augustine were fantastic. They called ahead showed up promptly and had a great attitude all day. They didn’t flinch about getting our huge fridge up the stairs. They moved quickly and were flexible when unexpected changes came up. They managed to take all of the ikea stuff apart and get it back together lightning quick. Would definitely recommend.

You moved with this company last week. They were quick efficient and friendly. They remembered all the little details and notes we had on what came and what stayed. Nothing was lost, nothing damaged. Well priced too. They even offered service at the end to recycle our extra boxes which helped a ton. I have a hard time reading our team’s names off the receipt but Santos, Brandon, and Tan, Van #128 were great!

I moved to a townhome and NorthStar Moving did a great job. I like their attention to detail and hassle free move. Especially the folks that helped me were carlitos, Rick and astacio are good at managing time as well !

Was this a problem?

Nope. This company is FULL SERVICE ladies and gentlemen. They will pack, wrap, carry, do whatever you need to get your move done and for that? I was so happy!

The preliminary move was conveniently handled online. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful.

I initially was going to hire a moving company referred by my realtor. After navigating the really archaic website they require customers fill out I was told to upload an app to make a video of my home.

What the fork kind of blueberry is this shark? (Put the appropriate curse words in the spots and you will feel my frustration)

That was stupid. I was spending more time giving data to that mover than I was getting I answers. He couldn’t give me a quote without the form. Then I was told to install imover or some crap to make a video. Does he know FaceTime and Skype are a thing? Why would I get an app to store a video of my home and the items in it. Wouldn’t that make a person susceptible to a robbery? I dunno – that mover was just not great so I didn’t use him.

I chose this company. They were really easy to communicate with, the quote/pricing was straightforward and they gave it to me right away – without a video or all kinds of forms. Imagine that!

I didn’t have enough boxes. The stupid amazon boxes I ordered were too small. I was worried about my fancy clothes and shoes. I barely slept. The sound of tape – you know the sound tape makes when you stretch it across a box? *shudders*

The movers came and did a preliminary walkthrough. We discussed what is what and where is where.

Then some of them worked on packing what needed to be packed. They have boxes, tape, and packing material. The other team started moving items out room by room.

They packed that huge truck and off we went to the new house!

When we arrived they unloaded the truck – careful to put boxes and pieces of furniture into the appropriate rooms. They unwrapped all the furniture so I could check for potential damage (there was none) and et their pads back. They emptied wardrobe boxes of hanging clothing into the respective closets of each room, and put my fancy clothing, shoes, and handbags in a prominent place of my closet so I knew it was there.

Both previous and current house has stairs. These guys worked so unbelievably hard and they had great teamwork and coordination with one another that I felt good about letting them be in charge of the move while I did what I wanted.

Moving is stressful. Moving can be stressful. With the right team, your stress can be managed and the move can happen with as little chaos as possible.

I am really happy I chose this company for my move. They managed my expectations, took ownership and responsibility for my move, asked questions to confirm they were doing what I wanted.

These guys were super efficient, polite and helpful. We were very unprepared before our move date, but they showed up and got us packed quickly. They wrapped and moved everything carefully – no damage at all. They communicated with both buildings so we had to do very little, other than sit back and play traffic cop to tell them where to put stuff. We felt guilty watching these guys work so hard! 10/10 would use this company again for the next move.

Just finished moving through Northstar and I’m so glad we did. They made the whole moving process super easy. We got a quotation through their website for an hourly rate. Which included 3 movers and 1 truck. We booked everything online and was even able to get same week service. We were unable to pack some last minute stuff. But they were able to help us pack – and quick too! The team that came was very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again.
