Hired NorthStar for our move. It was my first time using movers so I got a bunch of quotes. NorthStar was the most affordable from all of them. Booked them and got a call to confirm. They let me know there was traffic when they were in the way, so great communication. Both movers were extremely friendly and took care of our items. Everything arrived on the same condition! One of our sofas was tricky and they had to use the stairs (without any complaints).

If I ever have to move again I will definitely be using them!

We just had to move a two bedroom apartment into a two bedroom two bath and Javier, Tristan, and Juan did our move for us. They were so amazing and so professional! They move quickly and efficiently, but still extremely careful with our belongings. They didn’t nick any walls and they were really good about not hitting anything. I hear a lot of horror stories about movers ruining stuff or moving slow, but you won’t get that experience with this company. If you can request certain men to do the move for you, those are the guys to hire!

Great experience all around. Julio and his team showed up promptly and did an excellent job. They wrapped and padded every large item so everything was kept in perfect condition.

It took a bit longer than we had expected but well worth the quality move. It took about 5 hours to move 1 large bed, 4 couches, dining room table, outdoor table, numerous chairs/dressers, BBQ and more.

All the employees were professional. From the phone on the phone. The gentleman who did a walk through prior to giving us a quote and lastly the movers. I liked the fact we didn’t have to pay cash at the end. The movers too care of our items and completed within the pre set time frame. Our move was from a narrow hilly house to 66 miles north. There were no hidden fees or last minute issues on their part. I have had a horrible experience in the past with movers, this company is the real deal.

Julio, Edgar, Noe, and Eulalio moved us from our 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house. They were efficient, dealt with packing up some residual loose stuff in our closets that we hadn’t gotten to, and went above and beyond to help us with some things that movers don’t usually do.

They jammed right over to the new spot after our relatively long loading process (again, we had too many little loose things), and worked hard to unload the truck and get us moved in quickly and carefully. They worked well as a team, communicated well with us, and paid attention to our requests big and small. They did a great job.

We had a great experience using NorthStar Moving Company! I had requested quotes from several moving companies in the area, and was impressed from the get-go with this company. Stephanie, who responded to my quote, was super friendly, informative, and overall helpful. NorthStar was also by FAR the most affordable and removed all of the nonsense of travel fees & add-on costs that really tally up quickly when looking for a moving company. Communication was consistent as the move date came closer, the movers were right on time, & they truly went above and beyond for us. Bryce, the team lead, was great at directing things and ensuring they were done in a timely fashion. He made things smooth and easy, and his team was also fantastic and took great care of our belongings. We definitely felt like we were in good hands the whole time, and as stressful as moving can be the NorthStar team definitely made it a lot easier! Overall, I highly recommend NorthStar Moving!

Out of the last 4 moving companies I’ve used over the years this was hands down the best one! Very professional, on time and very efficient and handled and wrapped our furniture like it was their own. David Archuleta was a pleasure to work with and his team was very professional! I’ve had bad luck with movers in the past. This company has changed my opinion of the whole process. They’re all great.

First, I have to say that Stephany was great at getting back to me for my initial quote and my tons of questions. From there, I worked with Brittany. She helped me with all of the logistics. She was excellent. I never felt like I was lost in the process.

Then, when the guys showed up, they were fabulous. Before they arrived, they communicated very clearly as to their eta so that I could decide if I would wait there or go get breakfast. The guys we worked were were Brandon Ward and Santos Ponce. Both were extremely professional and very upbeat. They obviously know how stressful moving can be on someone.

They did a great job moving our items (one of which was a huge, heavy bookcase with glass doors) and they were very careful as to not damage our building’s elevator and doorways. They were just SO considerate. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. They were extremely patient as I tried to figure out how to situate the bookcase and were very cool when I changed my mind about where to put it. They made today much easier.

Quick, on time & courteous professionals. They took the time to carefully take apart and reassemble our furniture. Everything was handled properly & safely.

I used Northstar moving for an apartment move last week. I needed to drop off a couch at a friends house on my way to my new apartment, and the movers were fantastic. Felipe, Antonio and Carlos were professional, hard working, accommodating and SO FAST! They were a pleasure to work with, and all of my belongings were very well taken care of. I’d recommend this company to anyone needing to move.

I have had the unfortunate experience of moving 3 times in 3 years. Each year we used a different set of movers. They showed up looking like a rag tag team who were always okay and moving – but not great.

This time around I hired NorthStar and I am so glad that I did. They are hands down the best movers I have ever worked with. I went with 4 men and a truck. They called prior to arrival, showed up on time and looking professional in their uniforms. We showed them the entrance and exit points and what we had to move and they got to work. They are the most efficient team of movers I have ever worked with. In the past it took us over 6 hours to move. These guys were in and out (including drive time) in 5 hours – for a 2 bedroom 2 bath place with a ton of stuff! They were beyond professional! They immediately brought to our attention any issues that occurred during the move and professional addressed everything to our satisfaction.

Not only did NorthStar provide the best rate for moving services (and trust me I got over a dozen quotes) they provided the best services we have experienced in all our moves. I would hire them again and have already recommended them to my parents.

Caleb and his crew were fantastic. Helped pack some items at the last minute and generally took care of everything, including disassembling and reassembling larger furniture items.

These guys were great! Super efficient and very fast. Nothing was broken. They helped put everything in its place and made sure to assemble my furniture that had been taken apart. Very affordable pricing, they definitely don’t rip you off like some of the previous movers I’ve had experience with. Overall I am very satisfied, would recommend to a friend, and will be using these guys again in the future.

These guys were awesome. Super fast and professional, huge truck, really took care of my possessions in a complicated move, and were available at late notice.

I’ve moved almost every year in SF, each time with a different moving company. My most recent move, which was incredibly rushed due to my schedule, was made possible by NorthStar. They were able to fit me in on short notice and transport some heavy and fragile pieces, including a concrete dining table and marble standing desk. I will be going back to them next time I need a move. They also contract with an full replacement insurance company in case you are worried about your items (like I was), not that I needed it.
