Absolutely our best move ever! From beginning to end, the experience was great. I reached out on-line and chatted with Alma on what we needed. She was friendly and professional and great with responses. She even offered a discount on the trip fee. Excellent customer service! We booked about a month out and received a confirmation call a few days before we moved. I requested as close to 8am as possible in the window of 8-10am I was given. Our first box was moved at 8:30am. Our one bedroom apartment moved into a storage unit was 4 hours flat with an elevator at each location. They were on time, very friendly and professional. Our items were expertly arranged in our storage unit and we had plenty of room to spare when I was initially concerned everything might not fit. We’ve moved A LOT in Phoenix and Bryce Dailey and Matthew Neri were rockstars! Highly recommend!

Moving on up! That’s right I moved into my dream home with the help of NorthStar Moving this last month. What a overall amazing customer service experience. From the fast quote response from Gabriella who was prompt to return my call and explained every detail possible to ensure I understand each process. Her follow through and check in prior to the move was right on time. She was even easy to accommodate a last minute change in schedule due to my move out day being pushed back. Johnathon was the lead mover for my two man crew. He was professional over the phone and extremely friendly in person. He walked me through the process prior to moving anything. He also was very cautious on how he moved my valuable. Not one knick, scrape or broken item. He moves fast, safe and securely. I very much appreciate the great work Frank, Jimmy, and Henry did for me. I had quite a bit to move and they were fast and efficient. Additionally, I had one very heavy piece of furniture that had to get up a flight of Italian marble stairs. I was very nervous that either or both things were going to get damaged due to the enormity and weight of this piece of furniture. Much to everyone’s surprise, they got it up without damaging the furniture or the stairs. Very impressive work! Thank you for your help with this move!
These guys were great! Super efficient and very fast. Nothing was broken. They helped put everything in its place and made sure to assemble my furniture that had been taken apart. Very affordable pricing, they definitely don’t rip you off like some of the previous movers I’ve had experience with. Overall I am very satisfied, would recommend to a friend, and will be using these guys again in the future.
My moving day was smooth and easy. I received an hours notice upon arrival. Once Andy, Henry and Alejandro arrived, they moved quick and handle everything with care. Unloading was easy. They all worked super hard and I’m very appreciative. Would definitely recommend these guys and this company!
I made a last minute move reservation with NorthStar Movers and it was amazing. They made the move easy and smooth. There was a communication issue on my side when booking the reservation but they solved the issue and was able to give me the next available spot right away.
The movers got here and went to work right away and was very helpful with all my needs. They worked very fast and had such great teamwork! Everything arrived in one piece and they put all the furniture in place. I highly recommend them and will definitely use their services again in the future. 🙂

Hired NorthStar for our move. It was my first time using movers so I got a bunch of quotes. NorthStar was the most affordable from all of them. Booked them and got a call to confirm. They let me know there was traffic when they were in the way, so great communication. Both movers were extremely friendly and took care of our items. Everything arrived on the same condition! One of our sofas was tricky and they had to use the stairs (without any complaints).
If I ever have to move again I will definitely be using them!

What an INCREDIBLE experience! We hired NorthStar San Francisco for our recent move to the East Bay and had the pleasure of working with Felipe, Noe and Eulalio. The team arrived on time and got to work! Within hours our apartment was free of furniture and boxes! The furniture that was so quickly disassembled was ever more quickly reassembled in our new home. Without a doubt, a great experience! Highly recommend!

I used NorthStar Moving Company a few months ago to move my things into a storage unit (see the other review I posted in June), and they did such a great job that I used them again this week to move my things from the storage unit to my new apartment. I was given the same rate ($85/hr) as last time, which is by far the best rate available, especially for the quality of work they performed.
For this move I had “Frank the Great” and “Javier the Suave” from NorthStar and they were beyond fantastic. They were scheduled to arrive between 8-10am and they called me around 7:30am to say that they would be there by 8am. They actually arrived early which was great.
Frank and Javier walked me through their process and the costs, and then quickly started moving my items. The storage unit elevator was slow, so they made the best use of their time by loading the elevator completely before taking things down to the truck. This definitely saved me some money/time and helped the move be as efficient as possible.
All of my things were safely moved to the new unit in ~3 hours, which was quite fast for a 2-person team. My items included the following: bed, bedframe, desk, dresser, nightstand, TV, couch, boxes of clothes, and boxes of other miscellaneous items. To get to my new apartment, they had to carry everything up a flight of steps, and they had no issues with this extra obstacle. When they brought everything into the apartment, they left it in an organized manner and placed items in the appropriate rooms (i.e. bedframe and dresser in bedroom). They also offered to assemble the bed, desk, etc.
Frank and Javier were great to work with. They were on time, clean-shaven, very friendly, honest, and straightforward. They performed their work very professionally and I always felt that they were taking great care of my things. I would highly recommend Frank and Javier from NorthStar to perform any moving tasks. They are from the Chatsworth NorthStar location.

We have moved few times in the last few years due to job and contracts etc. This move today with NorthStar was by far the smoothest and easiest. Great team (I believe Felipe was team leader) and fast workers. They earned the money honestly and I say that because I have seen movers find ways to stretch their work hours but with this team today, they were very fast and hardworking. Loved it. Even though the move was not cheap but I still tipped a lot more than I had planned because I was just really happy with the experience. If they serve in an area I am moving to or from, I will definitely contact NorthStar again. Their hourly rates are also better than most quotes I got.

We just had to move a two bedroom apartment into a two bedroom two bath and Javier, Tristan, and Juan did our move for us. They were so amazing and so professional! They move quickly and efficiently, but still extremely careful with our belongings. They didn’t nick any walls and they were really good about not hitting anything. I hear a lot of horror stories about movers ruining stuff or moving slow, but you won’t get that experience with this company. If you can request certain men to do the move for you, those are the guys to hire!
Great experience all around. Julio and his team showed up promptly and did an excellent job. They wrapped and padded every large item so everything was kept in perfect condition.
It took a bit longer than we had expected but well worth the quality move. It took about 5 hours to move 1 large bed, 4 couches, dining room table, outdoor table, numerous chairs/dressers, BBQ and more.
All the employees were professional. From the phone on the phone. The gentleman who did a walk through prior to giving us a quote and lastly the movers. I liked the fact we didn’t have to pay cash at the end. The movers too care of our items and completed within the pre set time frame. Our move was from a narrow hilly house to 66 miles north. There were no hidden fees or last minute issues on their part. I have had a horrible experience in the past with movers, this company is the real deal.
Julio, Edgar, Noe, and Eulalio moved us from our 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house. They were efficient, dealt with packing up some residual loose stuff in our closets that we hadn’t gotten to, and went above and beyond to help us with some things that movers don’t usually do.
They jammed right over to the new spot after our relatively long loading process (again, we had too many little loose things), and worked hard to unload the truck and get us moved in quickly and carefully. They worked well as a team, communicated well with us, and paid attention to our requests big and small. They did a great job.
We had a great experience using NorthStar Moving Company! I had requested quotes from several moving companies in the area, and was impressed from the get-go with this company. Stephanie, who responded to my quote, was super friendly, informative, and overall helpful. NorthStar was also by FAR the most affordable and removed all of the nonsense of travel fees & add-on costs that really tally up quickly when looking for a moving company. Communication was consistent as the move date came closer, the movers were right on time, & they truly went above and beyond for us. Bryce, the team lead, was great at directing things and ensuring they were done in a timely fashion. He made things smooth and easy, and his team was also fantastic and took great care of our belongings. We definitely felt like we were in good hands the whole time, and as stressful as moving can be the NorthStar team definitely made it a lot easier! Overall, I highly recommend NorthStar Moving!

Out of the last 4 moving companies I’ve used over the years this was hands down the best one! Very professional, on time and very efficient and handled and wrapped our furniture like it was their own. David Archuleta was a pleasure to work with and his team was very professional!
