Northstar did a great job with our move. Our schedules had recently been very hectic so we werent able to pack everything as well as we would have liked but they came and packaged the rest of our stuff up for us. Their extra materials were at very reasonable costs and very useful. Boxes were packed efficiently and furniture was well wrapped. definitely hustled the entire time and was very smooth overall. Was afraid the many narrow cooridors in our condo would be a problem but they were able to balance the heavy boxes really well. They also did a great job of fitting the huge Moving truck through the tiny gate door. Moving is never fun but at least this time it was less painful.

I am currently moving from Atlanta back home to California by myself while pregnant, as my husband works in Georgia. I needed all the help I could get, with so much going on. These guys did an AMAZING job! They moved us from a 2 bedroom, three story townhouse to our single story 3 bedroom dream house. We had some heavy furniture like a bed, crib, couch, outdoor furniture. They moved fast and efficient. They handled our furniture with care. Some of the items they had to disassemble but they assembled it back perfectly. The prices were reasonable and well worth it to have that peace of mind on moving day. Moving is stressful enough so to have quality movers take care of your furniture is great. I would highly recommend them if you are moving!
All 3 movers were professional. They were also friendly and accommodating. Their furniture wraps were on point. There was no miscommunication about the move. All items were asked for proper placement. It did take a while, but special care was taken with each piece of furniture. I would recommend this company.
North Star moving company arrived at my apartment prepared with all of the materials needed for moving. They had dollies, boxes, packing tape, etc and they were able to pack up things we didn’t get to ourselves. I was a little worried about moving my TV but they were prepared with the right materials to protect it and they put paper in boxes that had empty space to prevent anything from breaking. They were also very efficient in dismantling the bed frame and carrying the bed down a flight of stairs with no issue. It was awesome! You can tell they weren’t trying to drag out the time since it’s an hourly rate because they worked so quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend!

Huge thanks and shout out to Jason, Alonzo & Jon for helping us move out of our DTLA loft to our new home in San Gabriel. These guys are speedy, professional, courteous, and efficient. It took 5 hours (10:30am-3:30pm) from door to door, start to finish. We had packed 95% of our belongings and they helped shrink wrap, disassemble, blanket wrap and pack the rest. We provided the guys w coffee, donuts for breakfast and pizza for lunch – because it only makes sense to feed the people who are helping you move your life to another area of LA, which isn’t an easy task. Please also remember to tip these guys because it is back breaking work – we gave cash. They do wear back braces, which I thought was great! It shows that North Star cares about the safety of their employees.

I knew that at the end of the day, I would not be paying more than what was estimated. Gil came to do the walk through estimate a few weeks prior to our moving day and we were happy knowing that we had the NTE in place. These guys are true professionals. Pablo and his crew arrived on time and didn’t stop working for a second until the job was done. They were respectful and caring with our belongings. Everything was wrapped and taped so that it wouldn’t be damaged during transit. They worked so fast it was hard to keep up with them just to tell them where everything went. I would recommend Northstar to anyone who’s looking for a company that will do a moving job efficiently and well. We are so glad we chose Northstar. Moving our home has been extremely stressful but working with these guys has been the least stressful part by far. Thank you guys!
Love this moving company, great moving company, they moved me this past Saturday from Laveen to Phoenix. They did a great job, my mom had a previous bad experience with another moving company which discouraged her from using a moving company and because of these guys, her faith was restored. Andrew, David and one other guy were awesome. They did an amazing job. They were friendly, professional and moved quickly and kept us laughing in the midst of all the stress moving brings They were patient as well as we had a few things that held them up but they kept a good attitude.
These guys moved me 3 years ago and I rehired them for the move today. They did a great job, moved things efficiently and with a minimum of hassle. Would recommend.
These guys are the best! I called around to many movers and was getting frustrated at no one being able to move on a Saturday – but they had my availability and were really fairly priced. They are extremely communicative, calling before they arrive and we’re promptly on time. Moving is extremely stressful, and I’m happy to have found the right movers. Jose, Edgar and Noe even wrapped all my furniture quickly, handled my things with care and were very professional. Even moved my couch down 6 flights!! Would recommend to anyone looking for movers.
I called them on Saturday and they scheduled the move for the day I requested within 15 minutes. All the information the representative provided me over the phone was accurate. They showed up on time and delivered the furniture perfectly. Highly recommended!!

They guys that helped us move where very friendly. They where punctual and mover quickly to get everything done. We have where pretty prepared with boxes and bag just a few things that we hadn’t decided if they where coming with us. They waiting patiently which we decided and helped us break things down that we where no longer going to need. Complaints quick easy and convenient.

The next day they showed up on time, loaded everything into the truck very quickly, and we drove across town to my new house, in the Hollywood Hills. It’s a challenging neighborhood for a truck, and the house has a lot of stairs. They saw it all as a challenge and worked without complaint all afternoon. Honestly, it was actually fun to work with them. I tried to carry a few things and they basically grabbed anything heavy out of my hands; these were some of the most polite people I’ve ever encountered.
When it was time to pay the bill, I thought “here we go, now they’re going to charge me for all the extras.” I was ready to be gouged. The final bill was substantially under the estimate, even with an hour of overtime. I was actually happy to pay these hardworking guys, and I bought them lunch (otherwise I don’t think they would have taken a lunch break) and tipped them all before they left. This is my 3rd move and I always go back NorthStar. This last crew however blew my mind. I’m moving out of a house with 4 kids and their was stuff everywhere. They meticulously packed rooms, labeled boxes correctly and made the move perfect. Logan was simply amazing – Thank you so much!
I want to say these guys today were fantastic. They arrived and i was disorganized. They immediately started helping me pack. They were efficient and professional. I really like the way that they were quick but careful with my furniture and helping me sort things out. I had two locations I had to drop off different items. One was my new place and the second was a storage facility. They were great at separating my things and patient when I changed my mind. I’m very pleased with northstar. I’m gonna be moving again in three months and I will definitely use them. I hope I get the same crew. They did a great job.
I used them to move from LA to San Jose. From San Jose to San Francisco. And back to LA. All over about a six year period. My dealings with the folks on the phone were all standard, nothing special.

My move was so quick and if you have everything packed up it’s even faster. They are young guys but they were very professional and did the job quickly. They wrapped up all my mirrors and they even offered to take apart one of my pieces of furniture so they could wrap it because they wanted to be sure it doesn’t get that it doesn’t get damaged. Great service and worth hiring to get the job done! Also scheduling was very easy and they responded quick.

Nelson and his team were amazing!! They helped us move across the bay in no time! The actually move was from the peninsula to the east bay and we got it all down in under 5 hours (all packed to all unpacked) for a two bedroom two bath.
Everything went smoothly and everything was put right back in the place we got it from.

Gadi is very kind and professional with giving estimates and arranging every little detail from packing to storing leftover furniture.
