This review is for the Chatsworth division of North Star moving company. This moving company was highly recommended from a local moms group and I can now see why. This weekend we moved into our new home about 20 miles away with a toddler and a sick baby so I was apprehensive even before the move started. George, Junior, and William came and packed up our entire home and helped us move into our new home with such an easy transition. I explained my concerns to them about my daughter’s furniture and my fragile items and they were extremely careful and meticulous when wrapping and moving everything. Not only were these men quick and efficient they were very professional and careful with all of our items. I’m hoping we don’t have to move again in the near future but if we do we are definitely calling North Star again and personally requesting these same 3 guys. They are top notch movers at a great price.
We used this company for the second time today (August 5, 2017). The NorthStar team was punctual and the had us moved out from our one bedroom apartment in less than two hours. Then they unloaded the truck in leads then 2.5 hours. This was awesome because they moved us from a second floor unit to a four floor unit. The team took good care of our property, nothing was broken in the move. I really recommend this company, if they had a 10 star I would give them a 10 star review for their great service. Special thanks to Randy, Andy, and Donald for a good hustle.

The best moving company ever! Guys were so friendly, on-time and efficient. This is the second time I’ve used them and I’d never go anywhere else. Highly recommend! Also a super good value – totally worth it.
The guys showed up during the 8-10 window just as they said they would. They were all very friendly and they worked very hard. It was super hot and muggy but they stayed wry good natured. We had packed up a lot of stuff so they were able to work on the fragile ones. I really appreciated how well they treated my things and how they realized they were precious to me. The paperwork process was thorough and helpful!
Junior (foreman), William, Reynaldo and George were awesome! They took there time with covering each piece of furniture. They were careful and communicative when moving pieces into our new space. They had a friendly attitude and were easy to work with. I would highly recommend the team and Northstar!
The crew was absolutely amazing. They came and moved everything from my one bedroom over to our new two bedroom. They arrived right as they had told us they would and they moved everything in under an hour. They were kind, courteous and quick. They explained everything they were going to do and wrapped everything perfectly. They had a 3 person crew and they all were kind and friendly. I would recommend this service to absolutely anyone looking to move. Only professional movers I would work with. They handled it cordially from the phone call at the beginning from booking all the way through the final piece. They sent confirmation emails and followed up the day before as well as giving us a call an hour before they arrived. No sugar coating with movers. The only service you should EVER use!!
The guys from NorthStar were super friendly and efficient! They arrived on time and got everything packed and unloaded very quickly. There was no damage done to either house or to any furniture. Will definitely recommend to anyone moving, it takes so much stress off knowing all your belongings are being transported safely and effectively!

NorthStar made my move painless. They arrived early to move my boxes, shrink wrap my furniture, pack my smaller items into a larger box. They also moved my clothing hanging in my closet into wardrobe boxes for an easy unpacking into my new closet. The customer service was great and I would recommend this moving company to friends and family.
These guys were fantastic. They worked very swiftly and efficiently and took care of my belongings. They were very helpful and pleasant to work with. They went the extra mile to make sure I was fully satisfied with everything. Would definitely use them again.
My northstar movers were fantastic! They were very professional- called me an hour before arriving and gave me an honest estimate. They were very straightforward with the cost of everything in addition to the per hour moving rate (told me about cost of tape, boxes, etc.). They took directions well as to where to put things when we arrived at my new spot. They worked very fast especially given the conditions which were HOT summer heat. They were very diligent about wrapping everything up safely and telling me which boxed held what. I didn’t have to lift a finger which was great because I have a bad back. The movers were done before sundown which was key for me because the electrician had forgotten to come! All and all it took 5 hours to move a 1bedroom to another 1bedroom that was 15 minutes away. I am very happy with my choice. And don’t forget to give them pizza!
From the very start the overall experience was great and the company and their people are very professional. The booking staff explains everything clearly and you get a confirmation email. The day of, you get a call before the movers arrive and the movers arrived at the early part of my appointment window. They are fast and courteous and take care of your belongings. Having just moved 4 months earlier these guys are worth everything penny, especially when compare to the other guys. Would definitely recommend and use them again.
My movers Jason, Bidal, and Mike were beyond amazing! They came earlier than was originally planned for (good!!) and gave me a heads up call to make sure everything was ready. They had all the moving materials, helped me pack some stuff last minute, and wrapped everything in safe blankets. They were quick, professional and were pleasant to work with. I would recommend these guys to anyone! Definitely would use their services again. My one bedroom apartment was moved with speed within three hours. I moved from 94115 to 94124 and the whole thing went very smoothly. Recommended with five stars!!
North Star Moving is a great company. I was referred to it by my best friend. The moving guys showed up on time and you could see from the first moment that they were true professionals. They took great care of our items with a wonderful attitude. This is the best moving experience I’ve had.

NorthStar Moving came today bright and early, were super efficient and friendly, and got the job done. No damages to any items, and got me moved safely. Really appreciate everything that they did, and I highly recommend them to anyone! Good conversation, and they wrapped everything to avoid damage. Once at the new apartment, they also helped with adding felt covers to the legs of my furniture so that it wouldn’t damage the floor. Super upbeat and dedicated movers, thanks again guys, really appreciate it! 5 stars all the way.
Great service. The guys worked quickly and efficiently, and were always pleasant and polite. Due to a misunderstanding, we arrived half an hour before my storage company opened, and they were very understanding and waited with me for it to open. Even with the delay, we still got the job done in the three hour minimum! I would definitely recommend them to my family or friends who needed a moving service.
Incredible moving company. I have used them every single time I move and they are efficient courteous and quick. They have never faltered. I first saw their name in a hoarding show and although I am not a hoarder I knew to use them. Their ratings are high because they are high quality. Fair and reasonable. They do the best for they customers as their philosophy is to create repeat customer base. I love them and will never use anyone else.
The guys that moved me were fantastic! They arrived on time. They were very polite and professional. They immediately started working. My furniture was wrapped without me asking. The were very careful with everything. I had some really heavy items and they never complained. Some of my furniture needed to be disassembled and they did it very quickly. We had one minor hiccup; a piece of our fridge broke during the move. But after I ordered the replacement part, I called Northstar, and they said they’d send a reimbursement check out for the full amount within 24 hours. I very much appreciated that.
Having had two great experiences with these folks – both with the telephone reps and the movers themselves – I’m happy to reiterate my recommendation for NorthStar.

We relocated to Dallas from San Diego and the move was extremely easy because of Northstar moving. They delivered within a week.
We started working with Michelle over the phone and she was very nice to explain everything (Yes… we made about 15 phone calls within 2 hours for 15 different types of questions).
Junior and Crew showed up on time and immediately realized that they need another truck. Northstar sent another one within few hours.
Highly experienced, knowledgeable and honest crew. We didn’t have to guide them for anything. They packed everything with proper care and detail attention. 3200 sqft of living space was packed and ready for loading by evening.
Within 4 days, they confirmed for delivery. Again, the delivery crew was excellent.
9,000 lbs of items traveled 1300 miles and only a nightstand was side damaged (Which is minor for a long distance move). One of headboard frame was dislocated but Eric was able to fix it quickly).

Moved from downtown to one of the beach cities. Great service. Received a phone call a few days prior verifying my information then got a call when the movers were an hr ourt. Professional and friendly group of guys! Move was easy, seamless, and customer friendly. Definitely recommend anyone who want a friendly, simple, and professional moving experience to try this company. I’ve moved literally over a dozen times in 10 years and these guys were among the best.
My wife and I bought our first condo and we’re moving from the west tower to the east tower at 1 Daniel Burnham Court. We called East Star and couldn’t be happier with the work that Roger, Don, and Jesus put forth. They were very professional and took great care of all of our stuff. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone that is thinking about using a moving company to help with the transition into a new home. They even helped unpack and set up the furniture just as it was in the last condo we were renting. They made a stressful situation into a seamless relocation. 5 stars!!
