NorthStar is the best! I recently moved from Northridge to Kagel Canyon and hired 4 movers and a 26 foot truck. 4 strong, able young men and a nice truck showed up promptly at our scheduled date and time ready to move us from a 1600 sq. ft. 2 bedroom. The 4 movers all handled our boxes, furniture and loose items with care and moved quick enough to actually finish in less time than I was originally quoted before the move. The movers all worked and communicated with themselves and me like a well managed team.
I have recently finished unpacking and I have not found one piece of damage to any of my belongings. My furniture was moved with care and all of my boxes were moved right side up. I highly recommend calling NorthStar for your move.

In short, Nelson and his crew were awesome. He gave 2 hours notice of his ETA in the 6 hour window (not just an hour), and he and his crew came prepared and had everything packed up and in the truck in just a couple hours. Everyone was moving with a purpose, but you could see they were still taking the time to pack things up carefully.

Using Northstar moving was a great experience. The gentleman were very polite and personable. They took great care in handling all of our stuff, and were motivated to give us the best experience possible. Moving is generally stressful; however, Northstar moving helped to take a lot of that off of our plate, which was absolutely worth it… and the price was right too!
Fred, Lloyd and Louis did a great job with my move into Encino. They were flexible and took great care with my things. There was a misunderstanding in what I had put in my move order and they corrected it on the spot. I would use them again for my moving needs!!

Great experience with NorthStar moving between apartments within downtown LA. Jorge J, Ruben T, and Jorge M took care of my move. The team was fast, caring, helpful, and friendly. They were flexible and able to navigate the not so easy parking situations at each location and handled traveling between floors with ease. Made my move easy for me! MOVING SUCKS!!!! Particularly with a toddler. I was a nervous wreck leading up to moving day. However, Ilan came in several weeks in advanced and gave us a “not to exceed” quote which was super helpful when shopping around moving companies. The crew was very punctual, worked very effectively and efficiently and were courteous and polite. Even my doorman noticed how good they were. Definitely recommend to anyone moving within the Bay Area.

Great company! Moved from California to Arizona and they were on it from day one! They explain everything from start to finish and are very clear in the process. So, here we are 5 years later, and I call Northstar to pack and move my daughter out of her apartment. Of course, us being us, it’s not that simple: her bed comes to our house, and then her bed in our house goes to my brother’s house for storage, there are boxes in the apartment and other boxes in our house that go to storage and they have to do some shuffling at the storage facility. With stairs.
They are so great! The whole move went off without a hitch; they called me on time, had plenty of help to pack and move everything efficiently and generally were a pleasure to work with. And the move was done before lunch.
And once again, they charged less than the estimate.
