There was a miscommunication between the movers and the people who scheduled the move but the movers figured it out efficiently and effectively. They were great. They listened to the specific requests we had and honored them, they worked hard, and they were very respectful and polite. The price was exactly what we had envisioned it was going to be. If you’re looking for effective movers that are totally fair with their pricing, I definitely suggest this company. We had a lot of heavy and expensive furniture that they took good care of. Very happy with this company!!

Haitham and his crew (Alex, Marvin, and Augustin) did an incredible job moving me and all my stuff from SF to Petaluma. They were on time and prepped everything, and it all worked out perfectly. They even took all my outdoor plants!
The price was about what I expected: my last move 7 years ago was from Pacifica to SF with two guys and cost not that much less. For the time spent (close to 6 hours), Northstar crew (4 people) was very reasonable. Also be sure to ask about the Yelp coupon!

This is the first time I’ve ever moved. I read reviews on Yelp for multiple companies and I decided to use North Star moving. Daryl and his team all had great attitudes and worked very hard! They made moving so easy! I will definitely be using them again.

Great moving company!! They were so fast and efficient! Arrived earlier than scheduled, but still gave me the discounted rate for my move! It was cheaper to move in the afternoon, but they arrived at 10:30am. They were super friendly and easy to work with! They made my move less stressful. I highly recommend them!
These guys are the best! Moving in the rain? No problem! Tight spaces and fragile stuff? No problem! Boxes of vinyl records that weigh a ton? No problem.

Jesse, Anthony, and artem are the dream team. This is my third move with Northstar and they just keep on delivering. Team was super careful, super quick and didn’t even take a minute break during the 5 hour move. The guys were professional and chill and trustworthy. My next move will no doubt be with Northstar. Quick easy move. We had three movers they were very quick, efficient, and friendly. Would recommend the company and use again. Took less than three hours including drive time. All furniture looked perfect with no damage on arrival. Also seamless making the reservation and getting a time that worked for us . Movers earlier than expected but did not charge us extra.

They even helped me set up my bed and made sure all the furniture and boxes went on the right floors. I couldn’t have asked for anything more than the excellent service provided.

This company is simply the best. After speaking with someone on the phone (no hold time) I was referred to Ron Cohen, who visited my apartment and walked through all of my items before providing an free estimate. He was willing to negotiate and we settled on a very fair maximum cost. Even if it took longer I was promised, this was the ceiling of what I would have to pay. On the day of the move, Ivan, Josh and Mason arrived on time and did an excellent job. They were fast, hardworking, careful and kind. They finished more quickly than the estimated time and I ended up paying half, that’s right 50% of the estimated maximum. I will ABSOLUTELY work with them again. I’d give 10 stars if possible.
