Thanksgiving Fun

Thanksgiving marks the kickoff to a holiday season filled with cheer, laughter, food and fun! Everyone knows after Thanksgiving comes Hanukkah, Christmas and lastly New Year’s. Each of these holidays contain food, food and more food! It’s like the eating never ends, which is something to be thankful for. Creating the perfect Thanksgiving dinner takes some time. In some homes, it takes a couple of days to get most things prepared. If you’re trying to figure out what to do while waiting for Thanksgiving dinner to be ready, here’s some fun stuff to do in the meantime!

Nothing says America like football. Grab your cousins, aunts and uncles and gather around the TV. For years it’s been tradition to watch football on Thanksgiving. It’s a great way to cheer for your favorite team and maybe even bring out some friendly competition between family members. Cheering for your team will leave you with a perfect appetite for that long awaited Thanksgiving meal.

Catch up

Family TalkingHoliday season is a time when you tend to catch up with family and reflect on the year you had. Many families come into town from different places, ready to spend quality time. For the most part, they have busy schedules whether it’s because of school or work. Thanksgiving is the time to be thankful for what you have and focus on loved ones.  This is what makes the holiday spirit so special!

After eating, you will likely be suffering from a food coma. You don’t want the fun to end once you finish the delicious meal! A great way to continue the night is by playing bingo! Who doesn’t love a good game of bingo? The whole family can play regardless of age. It’ll have you and family entertained for hours. What a great way to spend Thanksgiving! Nothing beats laughter, love and fun!
