Had a crew of four guys. For some odd reason I always have moving day on a hot day. But these guys never complained, worked super hard and did it while being pleasant and funny. Moving day can be overwhelming and stressful but these guys did what they could to make the process smooth and stress free. I had some very fragile items and a piano and these guys were super careful and wrapped everything. I also told them my new home had a brand new paint job and floors and they took extra special care moving our stuff in. If I ever move again I would not hesitate to hire them again. And I hope I get the same crew!

I had a great experience with Danny, Andrrew and OJ. They called and gave me the time they would arrive and got right to moving my heavy furniture. They also disassembled and reassembled my beds. They were courteous and finished right on time. I highly recommend Northstar Moving Company.
Highly recommend North Star. They were great from beginning to end. We asked for estimates from several moving companies. North Star’s quote was very competitive. Their customer service (Paula) was great answering our questions and getting us read our for the move.
On moving day, our team arrived on time and got to work right away. Edgar, Noah, and Jose were friendly and worked incredibly fast and efficiently. They took care to wrap and secure our furtiture well.
They also provided wardrobe boxes for our hanging clothes. The only problem was that the person who packed the truck forgot to include enough bars for the wardrobe boxes. Edgar was able to make a make-shift bar from packing tape though that did the trick.
We were happy with North Star Andrew would definitely use them again.

Northstar moving company of Irvine was a dream to work with!!! Deon,Andy and Brian worked so hard in the blazing heat to move our family into our very first home. We were very impressed with their fun personalities even in the heat they kept their spirits high. They were very professional and took excellent care of all our furniture pieces. Each piece was wrapped perfectly to prevent damages and they made it look easy even as they moved our washer and dryers up two flights of stairs!! I would highly recommend them to anyone who will listen to me .
Let me start off by saying I had a pleasurable experience. Thank you, Edwin, Marcos and Hector for putting me at ease during this nightmare. My 2nd level town home was flooded due to a faulty sensor on the washer and they moved my Curved TV, heavy Sectional and Table so the workers can come and do the repairs. No damage and 100% professional totally recommend this team.
My boyfriend and I recently decided to move in together. I found a few different moving companies with great reviews on Angie’s List and set up appointments to get in-person written estimates. Ilan did the estimates and was super efficient, friendly, and professional. We decided to go with Northstar based on that experience, the reviews I had read, and the fact that the written estimate came in lower than the other companies. We booked them to move me from the Valley to West Adams on a Saturday, and my boyfriend from Culver City the day after, on Sunday. Jorge J. and his crew showed up at my house on Saturday exactly on time and they worked their asses off until all of my stuff was safely moved into the new house. I loved the job that Jorge did so much that I requested him and his crew for my boyfriend’s move on Sunday. Again, they showed up exactly on time and got to work right away. The elevator in my boyfriend’s apartment building broke about two hours into the move, forcing the guys to haul the rest of my boyfriend’s stuff, including huge pieces of furniture, down three flights of stairs through an incredibly narrow back staircase. They had such a great attitude about the whole thing, remained super friendly and professional, and again I was blown away by how hard they worked to get the job done. I highly recommend Northstar, and I highly recommend Jorge J. and crew for a stress-free (or as stress free as any move can be) move.
I had spoken with the rep, Beatriz, and she helped me set up my move and was very prompt and informative! She also let me know that there was a coupon that I could buy off Yelp.
My move time was between 8-10 arrival, David and Jimmy gave me a call around 7:45 to let me know they’ll be there around 8:45.
They got my one bedroom apartment cleared in about an hour and a half. Including large items like fridge, bed, and couches.
All of the boxes and furniture were moved into the new apartment within an hour, super efficient and fast!

This is my second move with North star this week. These guys are so fast and efficient. Had to move a 1600 sq ft house and as usual no problems at all. Furniture and walls are exactly as they were before the move in both houses. Employees are professional and all good people. Would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.
I used Northstar three years ago to move my friend from his house into an assisted-living residence, and again in July 2017 for another move. For all three moves the movers were professional and everything went smoothly. They are very good at packing things I wasn’t able to pack myself, like a big TV set, computer, large lamps and artwork.
The guys that moved me were fantastic! They arrived on time. They were very polite and professional. They immediately started working. My furniture was wrapped without me asking. The were very careful with everything. I had some really heavy items and they never complained. Some of my furniture needed to be disassembled and they did it very quickly.
