BEST MOVING COMPANY EVER!!! In all my years, and with all my moves, they’ve set a new standard when it comes to movers. By chance I learned of North Star Moving Co., and before calling a previous company that did a great job; liked the reviews I read on Yelp, and got an appointment precisely when I wanted it. Great service from the very first phone call to the end of my move. They also made sure all was confirmed the day before.
I had Bobby, Marcus and Victor! AWESOME movers! My back was(is) out! and Bobby, Marcus and Victor all have the most wonderful attitudes, as I pointed out what needed to go. Under normal circumstances, I would have done more with having most in one place; however, they made me feel like I didn’t need to do a thing; making the move seem effortless-that’s a major feat when it comes to moving!!! They took excellent care of my “stuff”, and hardly broke a sweat with my prized solid marble table and base. When unloading, same thing, placing everything exactly where I wanted, moving with efficiency and speed. Not only did they work consistently and steadily, never stopping to break; they strategically placed everything so well to ensure there were no “incidents;” seemingly caring about my property as much as I do. Wonderful to watch.
GOOD JOB North Star Moving Company! You are on to something from what I’ve now experienced, and read in other reviews. Keep it up, hiring awesome people, willing to provide great customer satisfaction/service, and do what’s required with excellent attitudes! You’ve got some keepers, and I pray they are well compensated so everyone continues to reap the benefits.

After doing a ton of internet research for Los Angeles-based movers, I made an excellent decision hiring NorthStar Movers! Their hourly rate may be a bit higher than the competition, but with NorthStar you get 3 movers instead of 2 – makes all of the difference for timing.
The company was clear with their communication before the moving day and called the day before to confirm all of the details. Randy C. and his crew (Windel and Jorge) showed up on time and quickly got to work! What a hard working crew
Pro Tip: Buy your own plastic furniture wrap and movers tape to save some money. 1 roll of plastic wrap and 10-15 rolls of movers tape should be plenty to cover all of the furniture for a 1 bedroom apartment. $75 extra charge for supplies was reasonable – and explained to me beforehand.

These guys were great. I had booked a different moving company and 4 days before y move they just disappeared and stop answering calls. I got Northstar from someone else who was moving out and booked them for my move theee days later. They were very fast and made the move much easier than expected. I had Karan, Josh, and Ceaser. Ask for them if you get Northstar.
George Ruben and Mr. Wiseman were excellent movers. Very professional and cleared everything in no time. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

I have nothing but positive things to say about NorthStar Moving. I had bought a living social voucher for this company so I wasn’t completely sure how our experience was going to be. I’m horrible with names, I believe it was Victor and Juan, were very nice and professional. They called an hour before arrival as promised, which was helpful. They had a nice moving truck filled with all the essentials (moving blankets, furniture dollies, shrink wrap, you get the idea), that put us at ease immediately, we knew we were in good hands. Victor took the time to do a walk through with me to get an idea what all needed to be moved and go over a few things. All pieces of furniture were wrapped and secured in the truck in a very timely manner. When we arrived to the new place, Victor did another walk through we me to get a general idea of where we wanted things placed. The guys got everything in, again in a timely manner. They made sure everything was were we wanted it before leaving. It’s all the little details; like a smile and a handshake, having the right equipment, and taking care of our stuff are just a few reason I would recommend NorthStar Moving and Victor and Juan to anyone. They made moving a breeze.
Jay, Lupe and Marcus were great! Very professional and got the job done quickly! They made sure everything was in the right place, asked me questions about placement and protected my doors and floors from being damaged. This company was top notch! Pleasure to work with them and would 100% use them again!
