My name is Roberto C. I’ve been training dogs for almost 3 years. I’ve got about 15 dogs in training. I feel myself so grateful and thankful. I love dogs. I also have much patience. I always try to do my best so all these dogs can have a better life out there with their families.

It is only because of your help and people like you that our program is able to function. It is amazing to see dogs like Peter Parker, the service dog I’m training, enter the program afraid from their past life experiences and transform into the friendly, happy dogs they are meant to be.
Working with dogs has taught me what it is like to be of service to others. This has helped me build stronger relationships with my family and people in the community. At first it seems like we are only helping these dogs. But I learned that Paws for Life and these dogs have helped to heal me and turn me into the man I am meant to be.

My name is Jesse A., I’m a service dog trainer with Paws for Life in the prison dog training program.

I first hand get to experience how your generosity and time make others’ life easier. Here at the program I’m actually in charge of feeding our shelter and service dogs. Your work and kindness provide us one less worry about how we’re going to get food to our dogs.

Right now I’m finishing up training a beautiful Labrador Retriever/ Golden Retriever names Scout. He’s extremely intelligent and handsome!
