Great customer service and movers. Even the customer service agent came during our move to see how things were going and gave us a goody bag! Soooo worth every penny.

Used them for a second time to move to our new home 10 minutes away (and used the Yelp Deal.) They sent 3 guys and a truck. Again, they did a fantastic job. Broke one of our ceiling fans but immediately offered us $50 credit (and I was planning on selling it anyways so I was kind of glad that happened.) Would definitely recommend them to anyone that is moving. They may not be the cheapest but definitely worth it to deal with such a quality company. They even called afterwards to follow up and make sure we were happy with the move. Thank you NorthStar!

Hiring strangers to take care of your personal belongings is a scary thing. Whjat you think is important may not be what someone else thinks is important. Northstar was different. They handled everything with such care, not one thing was broken or lost in the move. We had someone come out and give us an in-person, “not to exceed” estimate. When the movers came, I was getting so afraid everything wouldn’t fit as the truck got more and more full. Santos, the head of the 3 man crew, assured me everything would be fine (and made it look so effortless). He was right =) They never stood around wasting time. All 3 of the guys were nice, friendly, curteous, efficient and professional. I will definitely use Northstar for my next move!

These guys were fantastic. They were actually a few minutes early, came in and got everything out of our apartment in an hour, and got everything into our new place in an hour as well. They made the process painless, and were very efficient the whole time. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know and would definitely use them again!

These guys made moving hassle free! They were prompt – early actually. We weren’t moving a lot of big furniture but had lots of small/medium boxes. It seemed like no time everything was in the truck and we were on our way. They were even faster once we got to the new place. They set the bed back up where we wanted it. I highly recommend and do the yelp deal.

The crew with Tony and Nacho (twice) and Art and the other crew were so polite, so professional, made everything so easy for me my move from Los Angeles to Arroyo Grande was actually fun. After getting recommendations from friends and family, I used NorthStar for my move. Great service from start to end. They were very professional and careful with my things.

i highly recommend hiring a moving company in general rather than doing it yourself. if you consider the cost of renting a truck, getting helpers, your time, the backaches….it’s well worth it. these guys were great. they brought literally all of their own supplies, wrapped up our furniture in bubble wrap and blankets in no time, and moved extremely quickly. one concern i had was since they charge by the hour, they’ll take their time to rack up the time. they finished our move so quickly that my wife and i decided to give them a little extra cash. it was great because all we had to do is direct where to put each box. i also recommended them to a good friend of mine who also had a good experience. i just don’t think he’s much of a reviewer.
