A seriously easy and stress free move. Was able to get a quote immediately after calling and was called twice to verify moving time and actual ETA by both the company and the movers themselves. I had Edward as my mover and upon assessing my apartment, he and his movers immediately got to work. They provided all the boxes, tape, and were extremely careful with all of my items. Truly a pleasure to work with! I wasn’t able to help pack many of my items and they made sure everything was boxed, protected, and worked so quickly I didn’t have to lift a finger. Would 100% recommend these guys for any difficult move as they were able to handle thin hallways and many flights of stairs (also protected both my building and apartment from getting scratched). Great at assembling/dis-assembling my furniture and they provided a seriously competitive rate too, will plan to work with these guys again anytime I need to move in the future!

Nancy, Genesis and David packed our entire condo in 5 hours. They were friendly, efficient and professional. They made our lives so much easier.
We had an amazing experience with North Star. The crew led by Jeremy Utu was fantastic. Our move was difficult – we had to move into a house on a steep slope – but the 4 guys Jeremy, Yvan, Lloyd and James were extremely professional and did some really heavy lifting to get the entire house moved in 10 hours. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

From initial contact and quote to final paperwork their administrative staff provided useful information and a “not to exceed” quote that gave us confidence that we selected the right company. Best of all were the movers! Richard D, Vinny, Vache and George A moved all of our equipment, supplies and computers quickly and efficiently to our new location in a gratefully short one-day move. Our new home wasn’t ready when we sold our old home, so NorthStar packed-up our furniture, took it to their storage facility, and then delivered everything to our new home about 1.5 months later. Both the team that packed-up the furniture and the team that delivered it were on-time, very professional and very thorough. We highly recommend them.
I have used Northstar many, many times over the past six years. I will never use another moving company. The young men are well-mannered, clean and gracious. They take care to wrap each piece and are as careful as possible. I recommend this company highly.
NorthStar Moving Company did an amazing job moving us into our new house. Richard D, Joey M, and Karan M were super professional! They showed up on-time, packed everything with care, and made the drop without every making as much as a scratch on any of our stuff. Overall these three guys did a great job. I had a few challenges: hadn’t packed a thing, had to move to a unit across a street (close, but awkward!) and had to split up what went over as the Gas Co. (one star for them) won’t turn on my gas here until Tuesday (5 days after my move-in).
Darryl M., Ricardo, Hector, and Tavov were a seamless team! They also totally understood all those challenges above and accommodated perfectly! It was a bit confusing but they made it seem easy! They were very professional and great representation of the company.
The company also provided boxes that I lacked (for a small fee). They do charge 30 min driving time, but that’s common in my experience for movers.
They have a coupon here (as you might see) as well have great rates. I paid $169/hr for a (skilled) team of 4.
