We had Michael from Northstar quote our move this morning and our first impressions are amazing! We found Northstar on Yelp after reading the reviews and also looking through the pictures of their equipment and trucks. If you are going to move our valuables, I would expect you to take care of your equipment in the same fashion! Although only our fist few interactions prior to the move, we have experienced great service and professionalism. Michael was prompt, communicated his arrival time and offered great advice for us to maximize our efficiency and keep costs manageable as we prepare for our move. Looking forward to the next steps!
This was my first time using a moving company. After being in my AZ home for over 20 years, moving and downsizing to a California apartment was pretty daunting. The folks at NorthStar were great at helping me through the process. They were on time and their follow up and follow through were great. They packed some expensive art items I wasn’t sure how to handle and everything showed up in tact. They put together items they dismantled and set all furniture where we needed it. I won’t hesitate to use this company in the future and recommend it to all of my friends. NorthStar made what could’ve been a very stressful experience pretty seamle

Luis, Rafael, Alan and Jessie were great! They took extra care of all of our belongings and were extra careful moving all of our furniture into our newly remodeled home. They even had the tough challenge of hauling our oversized washer and dryer to the second floor up a curved staircase that had all new banisters, and they pulled it off without any damage! Thanks guys.
We hired NorthStar Movers to move our office of approximately 20 employees. Our experience was great from the start. They were quick to respond to our inquiry. Gil came out and gave us an estimate for our move. He was quick, efficient, and had answers to all of our questions. He was also quick to respond to anything we needed in follow-up emails. We ended up needing to change our moving date, and customer support helped us without any issue.
On the day of the move, the team that showed up was excellent. Jesus, Wilber, Miguel, Emmanuel, and Abraham were confident, hard-working, efficient, and well-mannered. They worked very well together and managed a complicated move with wonderful attitudes. They disassembled and reassembled three four-desk units, carried a heavy conference table top up two flights of stairs, and wrapped all our our delicate furniture and computer monitors to keep them protected, among other things.
I am confident these guys can do any moving job and I will definitely hire them again. Thank you for a great experience!

The move went great. It came under the estimate by a few hours! This was probably the best mover I ever had, and I have had a few!
Michael Pomeroy came to our house and gave us an estimate. He was on-time, polite and friendly. He did a detailed sweep of our house and sent us an estimate the next morning. He included a list of the furniture being moved. I was very happy with this part of the process. However, we decided to go with a company that has bigger trucks and can do it with one truck instead of two trucks.
These movers are the best. Fast, professional and courteous. They took great care with our stuff but we’re still fast and efficient. I highly recommend Nancy and her top notch team!
