This individual has, for better and worse, undergone multiple moves around America so believe me when it is written that many interactions with moving companies have been personally experienced. All of the major companies have been used and my wife can attest to the time when hiring Mayflower resulted in us having to buy a card table, chairs and a futon in Houston because of such a long delay in their delivery. Thanks to Yelp, their phone number was called and answered immediately by the kind person, Ana, who quickly and efficiently arranged for my move. Granted, there wasn’t a lot of stuff to relocate from our dad’s assisted living facility back to his house but the movers who showed up, Diego and his crew, were absolutely the best with whom I have ever worked. Diego was punctual, polite, professional and personable, his crew wrapping and transporting items as if they were their own personal family heirlooms. If you have lost faith in moving companies, or even in the whole free-market system, then a transaction with North Star will renew it. In fact, the move was so smooth and uneventful that the house listings are now being browsed in the event we find something dreamy enough to hire North Star again for our next relocation.
